Hyuga Arin was currently the only doctor on Konoha's front line against the Cloud Ninja.

A group of severely injured mbers of the Hyuga clan—naturally, they had to be treated by Hyuga Arin.

The mont those unconscious Hyuga ninjas opened their eyes and saw Hyuga Arin, the expressions on their faces were… spectacular.

In the end, amid the agonized wails of the Hyuga clan mbers, Hyuga Arin perfectly completed his dical mission.

[Experience 9567]

These Hyuga clansn had been injured quite badly by Hyuga Arin, but none of the wounds were life-threatening. On average, each person only provided him with about three hundred experience points.

Still, a little experience was better than nothing.

Hyuga Arin clapped his hands and walked out of the newly erected dical tent.

"Big brother, why are they screaming so miserably?" Rope Tree, who was standing outside the dical tent, couldn't help but ask.

Even the critically injured patients from last ti hadn't scread this badly.

"These people have never really suffered before." Hyuga Arin was wiping the blood from his hands with a towel.

Rope Tree suddenly realized. "So they just couldn't endure the pain?"

…That didn't seem quite right.

Last ti, there had also been injured mbers of the Hyuga clan, and they hadn't scread like this either. Ninja were, by nature, an exceptionally resilient group.

Hyuga Arin shook his head. "Not exactly. I just let them suffer properly."

So of them had clenched their teeth and refused to make a sound, so he could only be a bit heavier with his hands—maybe increasing their injuries slightly. Each person averaging around three hundred experience was probably also related to him being a bit rougher this ti.

They had attacked him first, and he still repaid them with virtue.

Did they really think he was so kind of white-robed angel?

Rope Tree opened his mouth, but for a mont couldn't find any words to describe what he was feeling.

He only knew one thing—never, ever provoke a doctor in the future!!!

Listening to the lingering cries of misery coming from inside the dical tent, Rope Tree silently prayed for them for one full minute.

Of all the people you could provoke, you just had to provoke the only dical ninja here.

If that wasn't asking for it, what was?

The people who had attacked Hyuga Arin that day ended up lying in the dical tent for nearly a month before they could barely walk around again.

After that incident, no one dared to trouble Hyuga Arin anymore.

So much so that Hyuga Arin even sighed. "If I'd known, I wouldn't have hit them so hard."

Why did everyone chicken out so quickly?

Recently, the Cloud Ninja front line had been calm and uneventful.

The other fronts, however, were anything but.

The Sand Village had launched a massive offensive against Konoha, only to be brutally carved through by Konoha's White Fang, Hatake Sakumo, further enhancing his reputation and forcing Sunagakure to retreat back into the Land of Wind.

The Third Kazekage of the Sand Village drove Hanzo back into the Hidden Rain Village, after which Hanzo once again began attacking Konoha.

Jiraiya and the other two arrived simultaneously, temporarily halting Hanzo's advance—and even counterattacking into his territory. That battlefield had now beco the most intense of them all.

On the Stone Village's front, Sarutobi Hiruzen repelled Ōnoki, forcing Iwagakure to withdraw back into the Land of Earth.

Hyuga Arin didn't really believe that.

He had personally witnessed Sarutobi Hiruzen fighting Ōnoki. Throughout the battle, Ōnoki had been suppressing Sarutobi from start to finish.

Although Sarutobi was proficient in all five nature transformations and even his combined ninjutsu packs quite a punch, Ōnoki could fly. If you couldn't hit him, what could you do?

Not to ntion that Ōnoki dared to use Earth Release to directly block Sarutobi's combined ninjutsu. Would Sarutobi dare to counter Ōnoki's Dust Release with a combined ninjutsu? Of course not.

In close combat, Ōnoki would be suppressed by Sarutobi, but Ōnoki figured that out from the very beginning and simply refused to fight him head-on afterward.

Hyuga Arin had seen Sarutobi fly into a rage more than once.

And yet, Sarutobi supposedly "repelled" Ōnoki.

Hyuga Arin guessed that Ōnoki had seen Konoha already bring two battlefields to an end and realized that this ti, Konoha couldn't be taken down. That was why he chose to withdraw.

In the end, only the Hidden Rain battlefield remained, still locked in a stalemate.

As for Shimura Danzō, after Tsunade arrived, he promptly returned to the village.

He probably saw that the Hidden Rain couldn't be taken anyti soon and didn't want to change his na, so he found an excuse to slink back to Konoha.

Just look at the current Rain battlefield—once Tsunade and the other two took over, they imdiately pushed back into the Land of Rain, advancing toward the Hidden Rain Village.

The difference was obvious at a glance.

Hyuga Arin opened his eyes. "Now only the Rain battlefield remains. With the title of the Three Ninja spreading, the end of the war isn't far off."

He gazed into the distance, toward the direction of the Cloud Ninja.

He could only hate that his strength was still too limited, unable to lead troops into the Land of Lightning.

During this period, Hyuga Arin hadn't been idle either.

He had been constantly using [Brain Elixir] to refine his skills, and the results were remarkable.

[Rotation (lv5) Experience (0/8000) Trait (None)]

[Eight Trigrams Air Palm (lv6) Experience (0/3200) Trait (None)]

Both skills had reached the limit of what [Brain Elixir] could advance. Aside from using experience points, this was the only other thod he had to improve his skills.

What surprised him the most was that his dical ninja skill had automatically advanced again.

[dical Ninjutsu (lv5) Experience (0/16000) Trait (None)]

None of these skill upgrades had consud any experience points.

The others, however, were harder to improve and showed no change. This was mainly because he either used those techniques too infrequently, or they were more like innate talents.

For example, the Demon skill—this was purely a matter of physical talent. To upgrade it, he would have to strengthen his body's natural aptitude.

[Brain Elixir] allowed Hyuga Arin to comprehend things he previously couldn't, increasing his understanding, rather than directly enhancing his physical talent.

Having already used Brain Elixir to its limit, Hyuga Arin turned his gaze to the Shadow Clone Technique.

He had a feeling that this technique might beco extrely useful to him.

Next would co a long period of peace—a ti when experience gain was notoriously slow.

"Upgrade Shadow Clone Technique."

[Shadow Clone Technique (lv5) Experience (0/8000) Trait (None)]

[Shadow Clone Technique (lv9) Experience (0/8000) Trait (None)]

[Shadow Clone Technique (lv10) Experience (Max Level) Trait (Pending Selection)]

[External Avatar: You can split off a real clone, but it cannot stay away from you for too long. There is a possibility it may rebel against you.]

[Black Shadow Legion: Your shadow can extend into countless immortal ninjas.]

[Swap: You can exchange positions with your clone regardless of distance.]

Very good.

Hyuga Arin directly discarded the third option. With the Substitution Technique, this trait was completely useless—entirely redundant.

That left External Avatar and Black Shadow Legion.

Hyuga Arin pondered for a mont. "One is an ability from a cultivation world, the other is from Jackie Chan Adventures."

However, he didn't use Shadow Clones very often. He couldn't do what Naruto did—using them without limit. That would exhaust him completely, and Shadow Clones didn't help him much in direct combat anyway.

The nurical advantage of the Black Shadow Legion was also useless to him.

In the end, he chose External Avatar. As long as he paid attention to the ti limit, he should be able to eliminate the risk of rebellion.
