How fast is the Flying Thunder God Technique?

As long as Nawaki had a pre-placed Flying Thunder God formula at the destination, he could teleport there in an instant. It was true instantaneous movent—so fast it defied the very concept of speed.

In that brief mont, the Suna jōnin hadn't even had ti to react before their chests were pierced from behind by kunai!

Even Substitution Justu required a fraction of a second.

They couldn't even register what had happened, let alone defend.

Just like how the creator of the Flying Thunder God, the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju, once exploited a single opening to instantly kill Uchiha Izuna, a Mangekyō Sharingan wielder—this technique's lethality was undeniable.

If it didn't require pre-marked seals, the Lord God's exchange system would've priced this jutsu at no less than Wood Style.

Thud. Thud. Thud...

More than a dozen jōnin collapsed with wide eyes and dilated pupils.

The entire battlefield fell into stunned silence.

Under her hood and veil, Chiyo's mouth hung open in disbelief as she watched the scene unfold.

Over fourteen jōnin—not so common street vendors—were just wiped out like that?

Even the terrifyingly powerful Tsunade couldn't kill elite shinobi this casually!

But Nawaki didn't stop. In his right palm, another Flying Thunder God kunai had already materialized. With a swift flick of the wrist, he hurled it again.

In an instant, dozens of kunai appeared mid-air, raining down upon the Suna jōnin who were locked in combat with Konoha's elite.

"It's... it's the Flying Thunder God!"

"Damn it, run!"

As the signature jutsu of the Second Hokage, the Flying Thunder God Technique had earned its fearso reputation during the First Great Shinobi War.

Now, in the Second Great Shinobi War, its legacy hadn't faded. The jōnin instantly recognized it the mont they saw the kunai.

To them, those small kunai were like death warrants from the underworld. Faces twisted in panic, they turned and fled without hesitation.

But—

The sands beneath their feet churned.

Massive wooden pillars erupted from the earth, blocking every path of retreat.

Thunk. Thunk. Thunk!

Flying Thunder God kunai embedded themselves into the wooden barriers.

The next second, Nawaki's figure blurred and reappeared at those very kunai.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

This ti, the jōnin—having witnessed the technique once—managed to put up a defense.

As Nawaki appeared beside them, so activated Substitution Jutsu, others attempted to counter.

But... it only bought them half a second more.

When they blocked the front, Nawaki was already behind them.

When they blinked to escape, he had already arrived where they would reappear.

One second.

The Suna jōnin—completely annihilated!

Everyone on the battlefield stood frozen, eyes wide in utter shock at the boy now standing calmly among the trees.

From beginning to end, it had taken less than ten seconds.

But in that short span, he reversed the entire battle.

He had wiped out nearly all of Suna's top-tier combat power, instantly freeing Konoha's own elite ninja from their binds.

It was a terrifying display of overwhelming power.

Far in the rear, Chiyo, still controlling her puppets, collapsed to the ground, knees giving way.

Tears burst from her eyes, soaking the cloth that covered her face.

How... how could this be?

Nearly half of Sunagakure's high-level forces were wiped out by a teenager.

Even her own son and daughter were gone, unable to escape their fate.

If she returned to the village alive, she would be held solely responsible by the Kazekage. There was no doubt—Chiyo would beco the ultimate sinner of Sunagakure.

Nawaki staggered and dropped to sit on a thick tree trunk.

His face was pale, completely drained. Nearly all his chakra was depleted.

If not for his Sage Body, which gave him a chakra pool far beyond ordinary ninja, he might not have lasted through the attack.

"Minato doesn't have a body like mine. In the original tiline, how did he manage to use Flying Thunder God to one-shot fifty enemy shinobi without breaking a sweat?"

Nawaki pondered the question and figured Minato must've optimized the chakra efficiency of the jutsu through innovation.

But that was a topic for another day.

Sitting atop the massive tree, Nawaki looked down at the stunned expressions of the ninjas below and felt... nothing.

A strange boredom washed over him.

"They look like this, and I didn't even go all out."

"If I activated the Rinnegan and dropped sothing like Planetary Devastation, would they cry on the spot?"

With absolute power, battle beca aningless.

Showing off in front of re mortals just didn't feel satisfying.

Even killing dozens of jōnin wasn't as entertaining as teasing his grandfather's bestie, Madara.

"Whatever. Let's just treat this like grinding reputation points—a prelude to becoming Hokage. I already bragged to my sister. If I can't even beco Hokage, I'd die of embarrassnt."

Yawning, Nawaki leaned sideways and collapsed against the tree.

Tsunade flashed over in an instant and, upon confirming that Nawaki had only fainted from chakra exhaustion and hadn't been injured, let out a breath of relief.

She stared long and hard at the boy in her arms.

"It hasn't been long… and he's already grown this powerful. Even Grandpa Hashirama might not have had talent like this."

"You little brat… you've really grown up."

Her lips curled into a soft smile, her gaze warm and tender.

But that warmth vanished as she gently laid Nawaki down on the tree and turned to face the battlefield.

Her expression turned icy cold.

With a leap, she charged straight at Chiyo—

—and without hesitation, swung her fist.

BOOM!!

A deafening blast.

Sand exploded.

The counterattack had begun.

Now freed, Konoha's jōnin launched themselves at the remaining Suna forces, blades flashing without rcy.

The battle instantly collapsed.

Realizing they had no chance of victory, the remaining Suna ninja broke ranks like a crashing tide, fleeing in a panic and abandoning their fallen comrades.

It didn't take long.

The battlefield fell quiet.

The surviving Suna forces were either captured or fled. The rest lay dead.

Chiyo also perished.

In truth, Nawaki hadn't planned to kill her.

After all, she was one of his reincarnators. If she had to die, it should've been during a mission, where her death could generate value for him.

But Tsunade had acted too swiftly. Nawaki hadn't gone out of his way to stop her either.

No big deal. Sasori's already over a year old by now. Once he's a little older, I'll just drag him into the system and have him resurrect his parents... and his grandma too.

---

After this battle, everyone in the Konoha camp rembered a single na.

The man who annihilated Suna's elite forces single-handedly:

Senju Nawaki.
