The battlefield of Marineford collapsed into utter chaos. The thunder of cannon fire, the crack of gunshots, the clashing of weapons filled the air, and soon the whole area was shrouded in thick gunpowder smoke mixed with the tallic scent of blood.

From a distance, a frantic Marine ran forward and shouted at Sengoku in alarm, "Marshal Sengoku! Bad news! The Gate of Justice has suddenly opened!"

"And not only that," the Marine continued, trembling, "the Straw Hats have sparked a riot at Impel Down, the prison director was gravely wounded and fell into a coma. They're coming here now—with all the escapees from the jail. Among them are the forr Warlords, Jinbei of the Fish-n, Crocodile the Sand Crocodile, and a whole swarm of assorted pirates!"

Sengoku's face hardened, anger boiling in his eyes. Though I wanted to argue with Garp about handling this, I imdiately abandoned the idea when I considered his mood.

Instead, Sengoku spoke in a cold, unyielding tone, "Let them co. They can stay right here."

"Understood, Marshal Sengoku!" The signal Marine saluted and hurried off.

From his high platform, Kizaru surveyed the war raging below. Unable to bear it any longer, he dissolved into golden particles and streaked toward the flagship of Whitebeard.

At the sa ti, Marco erupted into brilliant azure fire, transforming into a phoenix and diving toward Akainu, glaring fiercely as he exclaid, "You dare touch our king the mont you appear!"

Just then, golden particles coalesced in front of Marco, revealing Kizaru's grim figure. "Immortal Qingyan," he said in a cold tone, "Don't flatter yourself. I eagerly await the power of Whitebeard."

Marco's wings spread wide, the blue flas roiling around him. With a sharp twist of his body, he evaded Kizaru's golden laser beam in an instant.

In a flash, Marco reappeared beside Kizaru, blue fire trailing his clenched fist. The impact was like the heavens crashing down—massive azure claws slashed through the air toward Kizaru.

Golden light erupted, but the claws cut through the void, piercing Kizaru's body outright.

Marco frowned, fire flickering nacingly around him. "So your devil-fruit fla is not unlike my own powers," he muttered.

Kizaru's golden aura flickered. In the blink of an eye, he vanished from view.

With no target for his attack, Marco's claws dissipated. He reverted to his human form, pouting slightly before laughing. "Truly the fastest fruit on the seas."

Before Marco could ready another strike, Kizaru reappeared—cloaked in shifting golden justice light, he suddenly materialized before him.

A long sword of condensed golden energy ford in his hand as he advanced. The air crackled with tension as Marco readied himself, flas licking the air around his arms.

Within monts, sky and sea were engulfed in swirling gold and cyan light, and the two clashed in a violent dance of powers high above the battlefield.

Nearby, Aokiji watched lazily, shaking his head with a bored sigh. "What a ss," he muttered. "When did Sengoku decide to give Kizaru overti pay?"

Golden and cyan energies wove a dazzling pattern in the sky before rging into a blinding white light.

The light faded, revealing a large scarred blue bird — the phoenix, risen once more. Marco's giant blue claws seized it and, as the world montarily plunged into darkness, the brilliance of tal shot from his grasp.

Kizaru smirked lightly. "Armant Haki—so we won't bother with devil-fruit fla tricks."

Clusters of golden light gathered around him, and at the mont the claws descended, Kizaru vanished once again.

With no target, the phantom claws faded. Marco returned to human form, chuckling as he muttered, "Surely the fastest devil-fruit on the seas."

Suddenly, the cloak of justice rustled behind Kizaru and reappeared before Marco with a flourish.

His palm stretched forward, golden rays converged, and a radiant sword of golden particles materialized.

The air turned cold, blue flas erupted around Marco's arms, and massive claws ford.

Within seconds, the sky beca a battlefield of clashing gold and azure intent—power t power, and the heavens themselves trembled.

A bored voice carried across the fray. "So when exactly did Kizaru decide to get serious? Didn't he just clock in?" Aokiji grumbled.

As tension mounted in the air, another figure stepped into view—Diamond Jozu.

His entire form glead with diamond hardness, like a warrior clad in living armor. He raised his massive arms and grasped the crescent of sword energy slicing through ice below him.

Silence fell for an instant across the frozen battlefield and everyone froze in shock.

Jozu's presence alone was enough to shift the balance of fear.
