"Damn it... The Konoha leadership is getting more and more corrupt!"

Kurenai’s eyes darkened even further. Soone actually said such things to the family mbers of those on missions!

It was a complete disrespect to the ninja who risked their lives for Konoha outside the village.

That simple sentence was enough to chill the hearts of countless shinobi.

"That person is shaless!" Hinata listened to the elder’s complaint, her face full of anger.

Hinata of the Hyuga clan had never experienced such things or endured such hardship before.

Shino Abura’s expression also grew darker, but he remained silent, his expression growing stranger.

Everyone present felt increasing disgust toward the Konoha leadership.

"No. I’ll take you to find those people. You must get the compensation you deserve!" Kurenai spoke again. She wanted to give the shinobi who risked their lives a stable belief.

The elder had sacrificed both his son and daughter-in-law for Konoha, but he should never be abandoned by the village in the end!

"It’s useless!" Genya shook his head to stop the now-angry Kurenai before speaking, "Sensei, if you do this, it will only make the elder’s life harder!"

It seed Kurenai had accepted missions but never faced this kind of thing and didn’t understand it well.

"Why? I just want to seek justice for the old man!" Kurenai frowned, surprised Genya would stop her.

To her, exposing the Konoha leadership’s sha should be exactly what Genya wanted, since the Uchiha clan’s relationship with the leaders was growing more tense.

"Heh... Wanting them to apologize and admit their mistakes is absolutely impossible!" Genya locked eyes with Kurenai and continued, "If you cause a scene by confronting them, the only outco will be the elder’s son and daughter-in-law being labeled traitors, and that’s why the village won’t compensate."

That was the only result possible!

Because once you challenge their authority and interests, Sarutobi Hiruzen would do anything to protect it.

So once things escalate, the Konoha leaders would just insist the elder’s son betrayed the village and didn’t tell the elder to spare him from the truth.

This way, the ninjas’ resentnt could be eased, and it would also reinforce Sarutobi Hiruzen’s image as the kind old man. Why wouldn’t they do it?

But if that happened, the old man wouldn’t be able to survive in Konoha anymore. He would be harshly criticized by those so-called loyal followers of Konoha!

"Hmm..." Kurenai seed to have considered this as well. The anger on her face gradually faded.

What Genya said wasn’t impossible. She had to think about the old man too.

"Genya-kun, you really know a lot!" Hinata looked at Genya with shining eyes, full of admiration.

Being with Genya made her feel even more that he was outstanding and knowledgeable about everything.

"Heh. That’s because in the past, the Konoha leadership treated our Uchiha clan like this," Genya smiled.

"Back then, the Uchiha clan’s ninjas risked their lives for Konoha, taking on the most dangerous missions. But in the end, we were labeled as the evil Uchiha clan!"

It took Genya so long to change the common people of Konoha’s views toward the Uchiha.

But slandering soone only needed a single sentence from them.

Listening to Genya’s story, Kurenai understood why the Uchiha clan preferred to work with the rchants rather than take any missions from Konoha.

Konoha had broken their hearts.

It seed that people’s misunderstandings about the Uchiha clan ran too deep in the past.

"But should the old man just suffer like this?" Shino, usually quiet, finally spoke up.

"Right now, it can’t be helped. Konoha isn’t under our control. For now, we have to let these parasites breed," Genya shrugged helplessly.

Of course, what he didn’t say was, if he were in charge, it would be ti to settle accounts.

Embezzling the compensation for fallen or missing ninjas—that was a serious offense.

"Is that so!" Shino Abura clenched his fist, lost in thought.

"You don’t need to worry about this old man’s matters. I’ve accepted my fate. I only hope my grandson can grow up safely!"

The old man saw Genya and the others troubled by his situation and quickly explained, "From now on... I won’t let my grandson beco a ninja. I just want him to be safe and sound!"

When he said "safe and sound," the old man had already lost all hope in Konoha.

"Don’t worry, your grandson will definitely grow up safely!" Genya looked at the old man and spoke sincerely.

With Genya’s words, at least in this farming area, the grandfather and grandson were safe.

"Thank you... thank you!" The old man quickly expressed his gratitude with excitent.

"Old man, when we leave to search for your pigs later, you can sell all the pigs you have here to the Uchiha farm!" Genya said seriously, looking at the old man.

"Uh? But these pigs aren’t fully grown yet!" The old man hesitated.

These pigs hadn’t reached the market age.

"Don’t worry. I’ll have soone buy them as fully grown pigs," Genya smiled and said to the elder. "Also, organize how many pigs you’ve raised recently and record any that have escaped."

"Ah, what’s this for?" The old man asked, puzzled.

"Soone will compensate you later," Genya said while looking at the honest old man. "Just do as I say."

"All right." The old man nodded blankly. Since Genya said so, he would follow the instructions.

After chatting a bit more with the old man, they symbolically left and prepared to wander outside.

"Genya... why do you want the old man to sell the pigs now?" Kurenai felt more and more puzzled by her disciple.

"Of course, it’s to make sure the old man gets more compensation money!" Genya replied with a smile. "Since those two in the hall are bound to pay compensation, why not make them pay a bit more?"

Upon hearing this, everyone understood imdiately.

Kurenai nodded as well, acknowledging Genya’s clever plan.

After that, since they were resting outside Konoha, Shino Abura occasionally sent out so bugs to search around.

Looking quite confident, Genya was too lazy to search around. He just rested on a tree, closing his eyes to relax.

"Hey... my bugs found a few pigs gathered together. Not sure if they’re wild boars or the ones that escaped from Old Man’s place!" At that mont, Shino Abura looked at the bugs flying back and quickly said.

"Found sothing?" Kurenai looked at him, and Genya opened his eyes.

The group understood and hurried to follow.

Soon, by a stream, they saw seven or eight pigs drinking water and resting by the riverbank.

"These pigs are the sa breed as Old Man’s. They must be his escaped pigs," Shino guessed, then turned to Genya. "Genya, should we drive them back?"

"Drive them back?" Genya glanced at Shino and said, "Are you crazy?"
