"Ninja Academy... graduation exam?"
Genya murmured quietly, a faint smile still lingering on his pale cheeks.
Graduation was finally here!
But...
Sarutobi Hiruzen, are you ready? After holding your high position for so long, are you prepared to be dethroned?
And what about the Konoha F4?
Those clan mbers who act like wolves among sheep—you’ll all be judged soon.
With these thoughts, Genya stepped outside.
"Genya-sama!"
"Genya-sama!"
As Genya walked out of the room, the Uchiha clan mbers outside greeted him warmly.
They spoke earnestly, their voices tinged with admiration—or even respect.
Genya,
Though most still thought of him as a ninja who barely used chakra or ninjutsu, relying mostly on taijutsu, they deeply respected him.
Because it was this Uchiha half-blood, who hardly used ninjutsu, who saved the Uchiha clan and stopped its decline.
So,
They didn’t mind that Genya, soone with no chakra, continued to serve as the heir of the Uchiha clan.
"Genya... where are you heading off to?" Uchiha Shin asked, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
Over the past few years, although Genya had been part of the Uchiha Police Force, aside from his morning Taijutsu training, he rarely went out in such a carefree manner. He had always kept a low profile.
But today?
What was he planning to do?
Could it be that Genya had received a new mission?
At that thought, Uchiha Shin felt a sudden tightness in his chest.
Genya hadn’t taken action in years—if he was moving now, sothing big was likely about to happen.
"Uncle Shin, Genya-sama is preparing to take the graduation exam," Hikari said seriously as she glanced at the puzzled Shin. Her voice turned solemn. "What are you thinking about?"
"The ninja academy graduation exam? Wait—Genya, you’re going to take the graduation exam?" Shin nodded absentmindedly at first, but then froze, clearly stunned as he looked at Genya in disbelief.
Genya—
His strength had surpassed even the elite jonin years ago... and now he was taking a graduation exam?
Wasn’t that massive overkill?
Was there even a point?
"My father told to go. Besides, after all this ti training, it’s about ti I got out and stretched my legs," Genya replied casually.
The show was about to begin—how boring would it be if he didn’t co out to watch?
"Go take a walk."
When Uchiha Shin heard those words, he couldn’t help but weigh their aning.
Take a walk?
Was that just a casual stroll... or did it an that he and his people were about to move out?
He had seen the monsters under Genya’s command before. Especially the newer additions lately—each more terrifying than the last.
Every single one of them was unbelievably strong.
If Atsukara really decided to "take a walk," the entire ninja world might descend into chaos.
"Uncle Shin, I’m heading to the exam now," Genya said casually, paying no attention to the wild thoughts running through Uchiha Shin’s mind. He simply turned and walked toward the Ninja Academy.
Behind him, Hikari followed at a steady pace—not too close, not too far.
Over the years, Genya had gotten used to her presence. Whenever she wasn’t buried in the lab, she would stay by his side—whether he was resting or training.
Of course, when it ca to training, Genya would explain things to her.
So even though Hikari had mainly been involved in research these past few years, she hadn’t neglected her own training.
Her strength—
Might even surpass Hayashi himself.
"Lord Genya, out patrolling again today?"
"Genya!"
As he stepped onto the main street, the townspeople greeted him warmly as he passed.
Over the years, the Uchiha Police Force had earned the trust and favor of the people of Konoha—especially when compared to the Sarutobi-Police Force.
Most civilians had already begun siding with the Uchiha clan.
To be fair, the Sarutobi Police Force had tried to change. But their clan’s naturally arrogant attitude made it difficult for them to truly connect with the common folk.
As a result, the areas under their control were now mostly filled with people who had no choice but to stay.
Even among the wealthier civilians and prominent families, dissatisfaction with the Sarutobi Police Force continued to grow.
Many well-off civilians had started moving into the districts under Uchiha’s jurisdiction.
So now...
Konoha was already showing signs of polarization.
The areas managed by the Uchiha Police Force were becoming more and more prosperous, while the ones under the Sarutobi clan’s control were growing quiet and empty.
Genya could say with confidence—
If it weren’t for Hiruzen Sarutobi still holding the position of Hokage, the Sarutobi Police Force might’ve already descended into chaos.
Rumor had it that, in order to stabilize the situation, Hiruzen had recently recalled Sarutobi Asuma from guarding the Daimyo.
One reason was to push the Sarutobi Police Force to change.
Another reason...
Perhaps he knew his ti as Hokage was almost up, and he needed to find a successor.
And then there was Naruto—he was about to graduate. Hiruzen wanted Asuma to beco Naruto’s teacher.
Being the ntor to a Jinchūriki would greatly benefit Asuma’s future prospects.
As these thoughts flickered through Genya’s mind, he had already arrived at the Ninja Academy.
Outside, a crowd had already gathered. Many of them were parents of students taking the graduation exam today. They were eager to find out their children’s results as soon as possible.
Hikari stopped at the gate, glancing at the tightly shut doors of the academy.
"Genya-sama, I’ll wait for you out here."
"Alright," Genya nodded and stepped inside the academy.
The mont he entered—
He heard loud chatter echoing through the corridors.
A lot of people were waiting outside.
So were even sneaking peeks through windows, trying to catch a glimpse of what was happening inside.
But then—
Genya’s appearance instantly drew attention from all directions.
The main reason was simple—he was a stranger to most of them.
In all these years, he’d shown up at the academy so few tis that you could count them on one hand.
You could say... this was quite the rare guest.
"Heh... why is he here? Is he also taking the exam?"
The usually lazy Shikamaru furrowed his brows as he noticed the handso figure of Genya.
He always prided himself on being smart. With just one eting, he could grasp the personalities of most of his classmates.
But Uchiha Genya... he couldn’t figure him out.
For so reason, Genya gave him a very unique feeling — a feeling that made Shikamaru instinctively wary.
"Genya..."
Sasuke, sitting nearby trying to look cool as always, frowned slightly when he saw him.
Over the years, Genya had kept his promise — not letting the clan make trouble for him.
But even so, Sasuke could never forgive himself deep down.
He had trained day and night, year after year, just for that one mont — the day he could personally kill the man who murdered his parents and his clan.
But strangely, even though he hadn’t yet killed Itachi, he found himself unable to face the other mbers of the Uchiha.
Especially Genya.
So, after just one glance, Sasuke quickly turned his head away.
"Genya... Genya-kun."
"Genya, you’re here too?"
At that mont, both Hinata and Naruto spotted Genya. Unlike the others, their reactions were full of excitent.
Hinata’s face turned red, her eyes shy as she slowly stepped forward.
Naruto, on the other hand, didn’t hesitate at all. He charged straight toward Genya and gave him a big, tight hug!
