"Perfect immortality?"
The red-clad follower seed lost in thought, as if reminiscing or even contemplating, with a touch of longing!
Perfect immortality.
After a long mont of silence, the red-clad follower slowly spoke: "True immortality ans being able to feel pain. As long as the body hasn’t completely perished, it can heal!"
"Are you talking about Hidan and his perfect immortality?" Genya asked, his tone curious.
Huh?
The red-clad follower was first startled, then looked at Genya in disbelief. "You know?"
At this point, he gave a bitter laugh. "Hehe... It’s really enviable. Not only does he have perfect immortality, but his five senses are still intact. Really enviable~~!"
"Isn’t it a good thing not having five senses? Even if you’re injured, you won’t feel pain!"
Shishui looked at the person in front of him curiously. In his mind, having no sense of pain seed like an advantage.
"At first, it might feel fine, but over ti, you’ll understand what despair is... Hehe," the red-clad follower seed to be reminiscing about sothing, sothing he clearly disliked, as he unconsciously closed his eyes, his face showing a look of disgust.
"Is that so?" Shishui murmured softly, not fully understanding what the red-clad follower ant. He thought not feeling pain was a good thing, but it seed like they didn’t view it that way. It was as though having no senses was a curse.
"How many of you red-clad followers are there?" Genya asked, eyeing the red-clad follower, now curious.
"How many red-clad followers?" The red-clad follower thought for a mont before slowly speaking. "If you don’t count Hidan, there are twelve, but now, there are only eleven left!"
"Are they all at your Jashin Cult Base?" Genya asked calmly, his voice becoming even more composed.
"The Red-Clad mbers are all free to move. Right now... there are only seven of them left in the base. I don’t know where the others are!" the Red-Clad cultist spoke slowly.
"Is your perfect experint subject, Hidan, here?" Genya frowned and asked.
"He’s not under our control. I don’t know where he is!" The Red-Clad cultist responded slowly, his tone making it clear he had no knowledge of Hidan’s whereabouts.
"In that case, you’re no longer needed here!" Genya listened to the explanation, and in his hand appeared a small cube, gleaming with brilliant light. "However... I’ll make it quick for you!"
These Red-Clad mbers were guilty of nurous cris. Genya was willing to give him a swift end because he had answered his questions.
Their sins were far more brutal than those of regular disciples.
"No! You can’t kill ! I can still do a lot for you! I can help you with so many things!" The Red-Clad cultist tried to struggle, but he was trapped by Shishui’s genjutsu and couldn’t break free.
In the end, he could only watch helplessly as the cube enveloped him.
"No..." As the word left his lips, the light flashed, and in the end, he vanished without a trace.
"Dealing with these immortal people from the Jashin Cult, people with special bodies, Dust Release is definitely more useful!" Genya casually clapped his hands, looking at the Red-Clad disciple who had disappeared without a trace. He was sowhat satisfied.
"Genya, what should we do next?" Shishui asked as he walked over, his eyes filled with curiosity.
"Naturally, we need to visit the Jashin Cult’s base!" Genya took a deep breath before speaking slowly. "All the experintal materials there need to be taken with us!"
"Understood!" Shishui nodded, then picked up a dying Jashin Cult cultist. "Take us to the Jashin Cult base!"
"I won’t take you there." The dying cultist struggled, unwilling to betray the Jashin Cult. But halfway through his words, his expression froze, and he nodded. "I understand, the Jashin Cult’s base is..."
Under the effects of Shisui’s Genjutsu, he slowly began to reveal the location of the Jashin Cult’s base.
"Let’s go!" Shisui confird the location and imdiately moved to take the cultist and search for the base.
But...
Genya’s gaze shifted behind him, and he slowly spoke, "We’re heading to the Jashin Cult base. Do you want to co?"
Genya had a good impression of Jiraiya. Although his behavior could be a bit off, he was reliable when it ca to important matters.
Genya felt regret over his death in the original work.
The first was Jiraiya, and the second was the Hyuga genius who died quietly during the Ninja War, Neji!
Such an outstanding Hyuga talent, yet he died unnoticed—what a pity.
Neji’s entire life had been overshadowed by the Caged Bird Cursed Seal. He had struggled, but failed. Even in death, he carried the humiliating mark of that curse.
So now, seeing Jiraiya, Genya felt more tolerant.
Cough cough.
"Were you talking about ?" Jiraiya looked around after hearing Genya’s words and realizing there was no one else behind him. He then pointed to his own nose, asking.
"Is there anyone else here?" Genya said, sowhat speechless.
"Since you’re asking so sincerely, I guess I’ll reluctantly accept!" Jiraiya nodded, quickly catching up. "I’m just worried about the two of you. The Jashin Cult is full of hidden dangers. If you get into trouble, I can help!"
"Don’t worry, with around, your safety is guaranteed!"
After that, Jiraiya kept talking nonstop. Genya realized that even now, Jiraiya was still as chatty as ever. But in a few years, his personality would change.
And so, the three of them, led by the Jashin cultist, walked for half an hour.
They saw a cave up ahead, with a few people guarding the entrance.
The leader of the guards, noticing Genya and the others approaching with a murderous aura, couldn’t help but ask, "Who are you? Do you know this is a forbidden area of the Jashin Cult?"
"The forbidden area of the Jashin Cult, heh... That’s exactly what we’re looking for!" Genya smirked as he heard the guard’s question.
They were looking for the Jashin Cult!
"This isn’t good... They’re here to cause trouble, and they’re carrying one of our people!" Another guard noticed that Shisui was holding one of their own and exclaid in fear.
These people were troublemakers!
"We’re giving you a chance. Call out your Red Robes from the Jashin Cult. Maybe you’ll have a chance to survive. Otherwise..." Genya turned and glanced at Shisui.
Shisui understood and threw the Jashin Cult mber he was holding out. "Otherwise, you’ll join them in the afterlife!"
In an instant, the atmosphere around them beca tense.
"You dare to kill my sect’s mbers! You’ve committed a grave sin!"
The words had barely left the guard’s mouth when both of them imdiately ran towards the cave, shouting, "Wait for the Lord Red Robe’s revenge!"
