Naruto: Dream to Immortality Chapter 23: The Truth of having a Dream

After he died I made sure he was dead and even to be sure I stabbed a senbon inside his mouth, down his throat and to touch his brain he is definitely dead now I also made sure he didn't leave a secret ssage or anything.

Tsu was crying next to him, I then took him to the hospital to the ergency ward. Normally people would be asking questions about his death and I had a lot of made up answers. But as he was in the hospital, one hour later the news of the making of the Sanin ca. I didn't know the exact date of it but I planned it to be around the sa ti as the death of Akira like a day or two before the Sanin but to be on the sa day I really lucked out on this.

Now everyone is distracted by the Sanin.

The Inuzuka are about to have the funeral the sa day and I am ready to go and report it to the hokage's office with Tsu behind. But soone stops at the hokage office door, he has jounin chakra and says. "Sorry but the hokage is in an important eting."

"I am sorry but the hokage must know this, a clan head has died."

His eyes widen and he says. " As I see from your face markings, it must be the Inuzuka Clan. My condolences but I am sorry but I really can't allow you in there, the eting is super important."

Tsu then scread. " WHY YO-"

But as she is about to do that I cover her mouth with my hand and as I calmly said. " I am sorry for her behaviour. She has had a bad day and I understand your dilemma, good day to you."

I then take Tsu back even though she struggles a bit, I take her out of the hokage's tower. After we go outside I took my hand off her mouth and she imdiately said angrily. "How dare they do that to one of the strongest clan in konoha. Why did you stop ."

And there cos the dumb Inuzuka pride and delusion.

Well ti to make a little manipulation. "I didn't have a choice but to do so. You would have gotten our clan in trouble. Don't you know that the village doesn't respect our clan enough to let your behaviour slide."

"What the hell are you talking about, our clan is one of the strongest clans in konoha." Said Tsu with a voice full of conviction.

I just sigh."Get over your pride we are one of the weakest clans in konoha and at best we are in the middle of the power range."

Tsu just angrily stomps and quarrels with . "Shut the hell up, what do you know about the Inuzuka Clan when you are just an inuzuka civilian born."

"Then tell a weaker clan than ours. We only have a handful of special jounin in tracking and all the other ninjas in the clan are chunin or lower. That was what and your father were trying to fix." I calmly explained to her.

She seems to think about it a bit and she becos sad. After all when a clan head dies it is expected of the Hokage to be in the funeral and the hokage not being able to co is another bonus to to convince my clan to help beco their leader after all even though the Inuzuka fight a lot against each other, when soone from outside interfere and when they have a common enemy they will co together and support each other like a wolf pack.

I will pick at their pride and make them trust and follow . But I must not go overboard or the Inuzuka might end up like the Uchiha did in canon. Even though it wouldn't happen imdiately because we are at war.

I then say. "Lets go to the funeral, at least we have to pay respects to the clan head.

And don't worry about anything I will take care of the Inuzuka clan."

I put up a determined face and go to the Inuzuka clan compound and then we go to the gathering place and we go towards all the Inuzuka clan head's graveyards with a new hole opened next to it. I also paid one mill ryo from my own pockets for the grave to be special and beautiful after all every Inuzuka clan head had an expensive grave.

Then as he was being put on the ground we all had a mont of silence Tsu was trying to be strong but tears were coming out of her eyes and she was holding my hand. I just kept my head down and didn't do anything. When I looked at the people around despairing because the only jounin in the clan died and sad because they liked him as a clan head, he was good to his people. I didn't know what to feel. I was also almost overco by so unknown feeling that I had buried a long ti ago. But then I look at the grave and think. No way am I giving up my dream becouse of so stupid thing like making other people feel despair.

I will do whatever it takes, I will follow the plan after all for every person I kill, I am killing a son, brother, father, uncle, daughter, mother etc.. I understand that.

BUT I AM NOT GOING TO LET THAT HINDER IN MY DREAM I DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO THESE PEOPLE, THESE KILLERS THESE BARBARIANS, EVEN THOSE INNOCENT. After all the completion of one's dream is the process of stepping on the dreams of others, the bigger the dream the more steps you need to take.

There doesn't exist anything like a free al in this world. Others will just try to hold you down like weights, they can't wait for you to be their stepping stone.

After the funeral ends I just go ho and take Tsu with .

In the funeral there were only Inuzuka no other clans at all. What a strong clan indeed.(sarcasm)

After that there were so clans that ca to visit to offer their condolences.

Only the Nara, Akimichi, Yamanaka and Abura clan ca. There also ca an ambu to offer condolences from hokage and tell for to et him in front of the Konoha gates tomorrow for the negotiations with the Sand. The Sand requested this.

I spent a lot of money buying ninja tools today.

Before I left I told the clan to wait for to determine the clan head. They agreed after I told them my mission. And I then told so motivational or coded speech it depends on how you interpret it. What I said was: 'The lone wolf dies, while the pack survives.'

Now they will definitely wait for after all I said sothing that sounded so cryptic and a ssage to them.

So of them widened their eyes like they understood.

Whatever they think they understood was probably wrong, what I really wanted was for them to wait for before they hold the election.

I really don't want to beat another Inuzuka clan head and manipulate him, it is really ti consuming to do so.

I am in front of the gates in the morning.

I then see Hokage co with his fighting outfit and 5 anbu around him, I can sense another 5 on the trees. After all, the Sand are still our enemies.

I have a couple ideas why the Sand requested . But I was ready even if Konoha wanted to sell to the Sand

I had a lot of ways to escape as soon as I saw sothing suspicious. Even though it is unlikely for Konoha to do that because:

1- Konoha doesn't give up its ninja

2- I am the student of Tsunade

3- I am a clan mber

4- I am well known

5- If it did so the morale would go down

Etc, etc there are many reasons but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Anyway then we start going towards the land of Rivers and as we are going in about 10 minutes on the road Hiruzen says. "My condolences about the Clan Heads death, I am sorry I couldn't be there."

I look at the ground to seem sad. "No need to worry Hokage -sama. You had to deal with the Sanin situation and the peace talks with the Sand Village."

The hokage then sighs in relief. He looks at and says. "Thank you for your understanding. By the way, how did the Clan Head specifically die."
