As Yami and Madara look at each-other, the latter has a small smirk on his face. "It seems like you are quite strong. I was wrong in thinking that only and Hashirama had reached that level of power."
Yami on the other hand just looked at him calmly. He didn't say anything at all as he just observed Madara.
On the other hand, Madara had a different thought. 'He used Flying Thunder God to teleport the teor away. His chakra reserves are definitely massive. He has definitely grown stronger too strong he grew so strong, during the 3rd Ninja ha was weak when we were observing him.'
Yami's eyes just coldly look at Madara in the eyes and then he narrows them.
"KAGE!!!" Calls out Yami, not leaving any room for discussion as next he says. "Retreat! Leave Madara Uchiha to , I can take care of him."
Imdiately everyone instinctively nods, even the other Kage as they order the other ninja to retreat.
"You got those weaklings out of here, now you can fight at your full power Yami Inuzuka." Says Madara, he still has a smirk on his face as he says that. He knows full well how Yami is and how he generally acts. But what he didn't expect is for Yami to just look at him with emotionless eyes, not saying anything.
Yami is extrely careful around Madara, he doesn't say anything to him. He doesn't want to give Madara anything to work.
When Madara sees this he smiles again as his Sharingan looks at Yami. "You want to hide sothing, don't you? Well it doesn't matter, you can keep your secrets for now. My Sharingan will soon easily see right through them."
"I see." Answers Yami simply.
Fwosh!
Imdiately in a dark flash, he appears in front of Madara. Who doesn't seem surprised by Yami's speed at all as his eyes follow him.
Yami then goes for a full power punch, but Madara jumps back and does one handsign.
[Fire Style: Majestic Fla Destroyer]
A gigantic tsunami of fire cos towards Yami, who also only makes one handsign.
Fwosh!
A giant wave of water goes towards Madara, eting his fire and covering the whole battlefield in mist. Which would normally obstruct soone's view, neither Yami nor Madara were really bothered about it. Yami even went through so more handsigns.
Imdiately the battlefield is surrounded with heavy mist filled with Yami's chakra. It makes it difficult for even Madara's sharingan to see through it. But he isn't necessarily worried either since if Yami gets close to him or uses a Jutsu, he will definitely notice him. Slowly around Madara, the Susanoo ribcage appears around him.
'His strength is dangerous, one punch and he will immobilize . So I mustn't get directly punched even once or it's pretty much over.' As Madara thinks that
Bang!
He feels a punch connect with his Susanoo from behind him. He imdiately goes underground with an Earth Jutsu as his Susanoo gets obliterated
'Tch! With this body, I can't feel the slight movents in the air. I have lost all instincts and such things. I am definitely too weak in this form.' Contemplates Madara, as he knows that even though he has a limitless amount of Chakra he doesn't have even 50% of the power he had when he was alive. He has already analyzed the limits of his body, but against Yami limitless regeneration is useless because he will obliterate the whole body with one punch and as the body cos back together Yami can just seal Madara.
Madara then gets up above earth and he just clasps his hands together. 'I need to make the battlefield to my advantage.'
[Wood Style: Deep Forest Ergence]
Imdiately giant tree roots co from the ground and just like giant snake tails search around the mist trying to find Yami who has blended his chakra with the mist.
Madara frowns a little as he can't find Yami, in the end he goes through a couple of hand-signs again and takes a deep breath.
[Wind Style: Great Breakthrough]
Fwosh!
Imdiately a giant typhoon pushes Yami's mist away. That is when Madara conjures his full body Susanoo and he looks at Yami who is just there standing up, he was being touched by the Wood Style roots, but there is no reaction from them, imdiately Madara cos to the conclusion that he too must have Hashirama Cells and can use Wood Style.
"Yami Inuzuka, be glad, as I, Madara Uchiha recognize you as the strongest living ninja. And I shall also use my full power against you." Says Madara as his Susanoo grows giant and he then whispers. "Settle."
Fwosh!
Imdiately the gigantic Susanoo draws his sword and attacks Yami who still has a calm look on his face. The sword moves at incredible speed as at less than a second the sword is in front of Yami and he still has a calm look on his face, he clenches his fist and a dark bird-like gauntlet appears on his hand and he then punches the Susanoo's sword.
BOOOOM!
As they clash the ground around them trembles as if a high-level earthquake hit this place. The mountain tops around are all cut off and the hills are all settled down.
Madara looks down at the figure below him, Yami has a frown on his face as he looks at his cut off arm. The Susanoo's sword cut his arm like tofu with no problem whatsoever. Though Yami's arm had already regenerated and looked brand new, the old arm turned into a black goo-like substance.
'I can't fight his Susanoo with only my body head-on.' Thinks Yami as he notices how this resulted. 'I guess expecting a punch to win against a sword was obviously not a thought of mine. But I did test out how strong his Susanoo is.'
In the end, Madara swings the Susanoo's sword toward Yami, intending to cut him in half but Yami just clasped his hand and as the sword was about to reach him.
BOOOM!
Two giant golden hand clasp together into the sword, imdiately stopping the sword on its tracks.
And as that happened Yami jumped up and clasped his hands again, this ti his body is surrounded by golden chakra, and a giant golden construct of a buddha with 100 hands appears below him and he stands on top of its head. The construct is just as big as the perfect Susanoo.
When Madara sees this he frowns at it, after all, this reminds him of one of Hashirama's finishing moves.
Imdiately that split-second reaction of Madara's, Yami noticed and decided to take advantage of it, as his Guanyin Bodhisattva attacks with palms, punches, and chops towards Madara's Susanoo. The latter frowns at this and his Mangekyo Sharingan starts changing slowly transforming into a Rinnegan. He then points his palms towards Yami...
[Shinra Tensei]
**BOOOOOM!**

As this was happening, on the other side of the battlefield. Obito was fighting Guy, Naruto, Kakashi and Kurenai when they all felt a sudden tremor and then they look towards the source of where it ca from, imdiately their eyes widen as they see a giant mushroom cloud where Yami and Madara were supposed to be fighting.

AUTHOR NOTE:
Took a long ti to write this chapter, I had to make everything gradually evolve as the fight got higher leveled. Now obviously having infinite chakra is an advantage, but Edo Tensei definitely weakened Madara. Rember that ti when the Rasengan that Yami used against the Raikage like Naruto did, it didn't work for Yami while it worked against the Edo Tensei Raikage, well it was because the latter didn't have that instincts that a living body has.
