"Oh, the attack is not over yet," Kaida said with an innocent smile on his face. Soon three shadow clones flickered behind the leader, each holding a staff as well, overflowing with both fire and yang chakra.

The whole attack was pure wastage of chakra—six shadow clones, three as staffs and three as wielders, using chakra to enhance their speed and strength as well as using Iron Skin Jutsu to counter any attack, while also flooding the staff with fire and yang chakra. The whole thing would have milked even a Jonin dry of his chakra.

But for Kaida, it was not even costing him 5 percent of his chakra.

Since the leader had just dodged the attack and was not ready for another, he couldn’t use his shadow travel to evade the attack, leaving only one option behind.

He circulated so much chakra in his body that it would have beco obvious even for a non-dojutsu user as well. The result was sothing very similar to Iron Skin Jutsu, but just more primal and raw.

Bang bang bang

All three attacks landed on the target perfectly, though the damage was not as severe as Kaida was expecting. The ground on which the leader was standing sank from the force of the attack, and so of the leader’s fur also got burned, but other than that, there were no injuries on him.

At least not external, but from the pained expression on his face, it was clear that he was not totally unhard from the attack. But he turned the pain into anger, which was now directed towards the clones. He turned toward them and released another howl.

Even though the clones were using Iron Skin Jutsu, they still got dispersed from the attack. Apparently, the Iron Skin Jutsu did nothing to prevent internal injuries.

"Enough playing. Let’s finish this childish ga now," the leader said, as the chakra he had used to defend against the attack swiftly moved toward the ground, or the shadow to be exact. Till now, every ti he did sothing like that, the shadow around him or a patch of it in so other area got affected, but this ti, it was like a circle around the leader which was being affected by his chakra—going into his control.

"Is this your domain or sothing?" Kaida asked.

"Domain? Hmm, you could say that. As here I am invincible—none of your attacks will be able to touch , but I can attack you from anywhere... Surrender now, boy. I win," the leader said, a triumphant expression on his face.

"Oh I will, but I want to show sothing to you as well. You see, I have sothing similar to a domain myself," Kaida said, placing his hand on his right eye.

"Takamagahara."

The domain made its second appearance in the world, but this ti its influence was far greater—spanning an 18-ter radius, nearly twice the size of its initial 10-ter range.

And the effect of it was instant. The area around Kaida suddenly lost all of its color—the rocks, the grass, the leader, his shadow—everything lost its color, everything except Kaida.

Seeing the weird effect of the domain, the leader tried to exit the domain, only to co to a frightening realization.

’I can’t move. Shit!’ Even moving chakra was not possible as well. The shadow, which was now completely under his command, was facing the sa problem. No matter how much he tried to move them, it was like pushing a mountain—no result at all.

But unlike the first ti, Kaida was not going to enjoy feeling like a god, especially because of the resistance the leader was putting. Kaida’s chakra was draining at an alarming rate, around one percent per second.

Not wasting any ti, Kaida appeared right in front of the leader, switching his staff with a kunai.

"How about we consider this a draw?" Kaida asked, releasing a little pressure from the leader, just enough that he would be able to talk, but not move at all.

"How is it a draw? You can clearly kill now," the leader asked, raising his eyebrow in curiosity.

"Oh co on, even after all that you underestimate . Don’t you think I would notice how you are connected to your whole pack but not using that connection at all? I am sure there is another absurdly powerful attack up your sleeve that you’re not using," Kaida said.

"Hahaha, fine. I accept your offer. This ans that we have to check who is stronger the next ti you co back," the leader said. It was true that he had not truly lost at the mont and had ans to attack even in that state, but the boy in front of him was not out of attacks as well.

So this offer was best for all.

"This is the first ti I have enjoyed so much," the leader said, flexing his muscles after Kaida ended his MS ability, while a shadow clone appeared next to him to check his condition.

"Is using that ability harmful to you?" the leader asked, eyes narrowed as he observed the scene unfolding before him.

"Not really... Well, I can’t say for sure," Kaida replied, his voice thoughtful. "This is only my second ti using this ability. Since it’s unique to , I’m still figuring out how it affects . That’s what this whole spar is partly for."

As he spoke, one of his clones quietly dispersed into smoke.

"Hmm, interesting," the leader murmured. "If I may—there’s sothing I’d like to point out. You might overlook it yourself."

"Please," Kaida said, nodding.

"That power of yours... it’s formidable. So formidable, in fact, that I see almost no counter to it. Maybe soone outside the range of your ’domain’ could attempt sothing, but for those caught within it—it’s essentially ga over."

He paused, eyes serious.

"And that’s the danger. Because while it’s active, you beco all-powerful within that space. And power like that—unchecked and absolute—it has a tendency to corrupt, especially when wielded at this scale."

"What do you an?" Kaida asked, not matching the seriousness of the leader.

"You are not dumb enough to not understand that, Kaida. What I am saying is make sure you don’t change when using that ’domain’ of yours," the leader said, looking towards the wolves that had been surrounding them.

"Disperse." A simple order, but that was enough—all of the wolves went back to their cave or to the tasks assigned to them. Only four wolves remained, and Third was among them.

It was not hard to guess that these were the four strongest wolves in the pack, right after the leader.

But Kaida was not thinking about that. His thoughts were focused on the words the leader said, and then a few more things started coming back to him:

"You may beco a tyrant in the future."

"You are too prideful. Did you ever think that this prophecy may be wrong?"

’Am I really changing because of this power?’ Kaida thought, a crisis directly to his sense of self forming in his mind.

"Hahaha, don’t worry. This process is not as rapid as you think. It normally happens over ti, and if you are aware of this, then I am sure you will be able to avoid the change you so dread," the leader said, trying to pat Kaida’s back, but his massive paw almost pushed him to the ground.

"I hope so," Kaida said, trying to balance himself.
