They passed through the forest. At the end of the path stood a wide cliff on the edge of Konoha—a perfect vantage point.
From here, one could overlook the entire Uchiha district.
"Don't blink," Yu said.
He had the nine line up behind him, facing the clan grounds.
Planting his blade into the earth, he sat calmly at the cliff's edge.
The nine didn't understand his intention.
Uchiha Izumi and Uchiha Minami were still consud with the question:
Why had Yu slaughtered so many clan mbers?
Was it just to awaken the Mangekyō?
At this point, could anything possibly matter more than this internal massacre?
Uchiha Minami swallowed hard and cautiously asked, "Yu, even if you have the Mangekyō, for doing all this… Fugaku-sama… and Itachi—they won't let you go."
"Itachi and Fugaku, huh?"
Yu shook his head without responding.

The masked man looked toward the eastern cliffs of Konoha. His sharp gaze pierced through the lone eyehole in his mask.
"So rats got away. Our plan has been discovered by other Uchiha."
"The plan was only known to the top Konoha leadership. Must be a few sharp-nosed stragglers. After the extermination, I'll take care of them," Itachi said without expression, drawing his ninja blade.
From this mont forward, for peace… for the village… he would willingly fall into the depths of hell—
Offering his soul to the devil.
"Begin," the masked man said coldly.
Like a ghost, he vanished into the streets of the Uchiha district.
According to their plan, his target was the Uchiha Police Headquarters—

Itachi slowly removed his ANBU mask from his waist and put it on.
In the reflection of his blade, the faces of the family of three shimred—
Smiling, welcoming, utterly unaware.
Their final expressions froze as confusion turned to horror.

A blood-curdling scream tore through the Uchiha district.
A streak of crimson blood stained the paper window of the shop. The flickering lights inside trembled—then fell completely still.
Uchiha Itachi stepped out through the doorway, removing the mask now soaked in warm blood. Gripping his blade, he moved on to the next wooden house.

In that instant, a swarm of crows descended, wings beating furiously as they circled above.
Drawn by the scent of death—or perhaps summoned by design—they perched along the street walls, watching silently over the Uchiha district.

The nine mbers of the Uchiha Police Force were startled awake by the distant sound of screams.
They jerked their heads toward the clan's direction.
There, a black shadow darted back and forth between the houses.
Each ti it entered and exited a ho, another scream of despair echoed through the district.
They instantly understood—
The Uchiha were under attack. Soone was slaughtering their people!
"You have accomplices, Yu!!!"
Uchiha Minami's face had drained of all color, expression twisting in fury and disbelief. Her voice rose sharply, nearly breaking.
Izumi's beautiful, wide eyes trembled violently.
She didn't want to believe what she was seeing.
That silhouette… slaughtering civilians…
She recognized it.
"No," Yu said calmly, "That's not my ally. The one currently butchering Uchiha civilians… is the very person you just ntioned—Uchiha Itachi."
The words hit them like a bolt from the blue, exploding in all nine of their minds.
All their pupils contracted violently.
Uchiha Minami shouted, "That's impossible! It can't be him! It can't!"
"Why not?" Uchiha Tamao snapped. "That Itachi's been acting distant and cold lately—clearly not soone to trust! If Yu says it's him, then it's him!"
"…It was Itachi," Izumi choked out, tears flowing from her clear eyes. In that mont, she seed turned to stone.
Even from this far away—
She could see the blur of that figure's movents.
She recognized Itachi's signature body flicker.
The rest of the police force were dumbstruck, their mouths agape.
If anything tonight could be even more chilling than Yu massacring the prisoners in the police station dungeon—
It was Uchiha Itachi, the one they had placed their hopes on, turning his blade on the clan's civilians.
"Itachi… why would he do this?"
"It's genjutsu—it has to be genjutsu!"
"My family… my family lives in that sector… why is he… doing this…"
So of the officers had already broken down. Their whispers turned into sobs, muttering to themselves in grief.
Suddenly, lines of text flashed through Yu's mind:

[Choices]:
1. Kill the remaining Uchiha.
2. Successfully escape from the Hidden Leaf Village.
[Reward]: (Plunder) Steal another's Mangekyō Sharingan, absorb their ocular power, and obtain their Mangekyō abilities.
Yu's expression turned solemn as he analyzed the quest.
At this point, killing the remaining Uchiha—civilians and regular ninja—was manageable.
But Fugaku, Itachi, and Obito had two and a half pairs of Mangekyō between them.
He wasn't strong enough yet to handle that.
So, only one option remained:
Escape Konoha successfully.
Yu glanced back toward the edge of the forest barrier.
Even crossing it wouldn't an he'd truly escaped the Leaf.
He would still have to evade pursuit from Konoha forces—and from the likes of Itachi.
Judging by the reward…
The system was clearly nudging him to eventually plunder the Mangekyō from Itachi, Obito, and others.
