Suigetsu squeezed his eyes shut, screaming as he bent over, his entire body nearly plastered against the gemstone inside the orange Susanoo's helt.
Although a giant energy being like Susanoo was every boy's dream...
To a seven or eight-year-old child, this scene was overwhelmingly intense.
Yu's face was illuminated by the firelight, and his scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan of Yasakani shimred slightly in his eyes.
He stared ahead, arms crossed calmly over his chest, standing firm and steady—exuding a sense of profound tranquility and unwavering composure, like still waters of a deep well.
Trembling, little Suigetsu looked up at Yu with admiration and awe swirling in his eyes.
His mind was a ss of thoughts, but just that one glance gave his life a goal and direction.

Suigetsu clenched his teeth, shut his mouth, and stopped screaming in fear. He tightened his fists as the Tailed Beast Chakra surged from within him like a tidal wave.
The night was dyed orange-red.
Squelch—
The Six-Tails' tentacle-eyes contracted, and hot mist spewed from the vents on its head. Though its mind was frenzied and chaotic, it still sensed the suffocating pressure of doom.
Zzzz—
Corrosion!
The rhino-hound instantly turned into a viscous fluid the mont the Totsuka Blade struck, sinking into the ground.
Boom!!!
The Totsuka Blade and the orange complete-body Susanoo landed in a half-crouch, shaking the earth.
Winds like hurricanes tore through nearby buildings. Black smoke filled the air. Utility poles and debris flew in all directions.
Centered on Susanoo, a thousand-ter radius of the ground caved in, forming web-like cracks.
"Did it escape?"
Uchiha Yu looked down, narrowing his eyes, spotting a patch of gray-white rotting sludge left on the ground.
Clearly, the Totsuka Blade had sliced off part of the Six-Tails' body. At this mont, the blade's flas had dimd—evidence of intense corrosion.
Ssshh—
A patch of rotten sludge suddenly appeared in the central area of Kirigakure. The foundations of nearby buildings instantly lted and began to sink.
Puff—
White mist rose.
The Six-Tails erged from underground. Its massive body appeared in the village's center. It couldn't remain underground much longer after failing to fully corrode.
"Monster! It's a monster!"
"Help!"
"Ahhh—!"
On the streets, panicked civilians scattered in every direction. In front of the towering Tailed Beast, humans looked like nothing more than slightly larger ants.
The entire Village Hidden in the Mist had beco a vast battlefield.
Within the cluster of buildings, countless shadows darted about—rising and falling in the night. With the Fourth Mizukage sealed, the Kirigakure shinobi were now leaderless.
Originally dispatched by their clans to capture Uchiha, the Mist shinobi were now returning to the village in waves.
Nearly ten thousand shinobi flooded back, yet in the face of the Six-Tails, a living natural disaster—they were helpless.
"What should we do now…"
A burly Mist shinobi's cheeks trembled, his pupils filled with fear. Faced with this kind of monster, they would rather deal with the Uchiha instead.
"Stop it—!"
i Terumi stood atop a building near the Six-Tails. Seeing countless Mist shinobi return like headless flies, she imdiately shouted a command.
The shinobi snapped out of their daze as if awakening from a dream.
Without hesitation, i Terumi stepped forward, suppressing her fear alongside the nearby shinobi. In a flash, she appeared in front of the Six-Tails, quickly forming hand seals and unleashing a Water Style technique to block its advance.
Boom—
A towering column of water surged forward, forming a wave that crashed into the Six-Tails' massive body. But the monstrous beast simply continued its charge, ignoring the jutsu entirely.
The ground quaked violently.
The mucus covering the Six-Tails completely neutralized the Water Style and all other ninjutsu.
It had completely lost all rationality. Charging straight ahead—toward a cylindrical building that still hadn't been evacuated.
"We can't let it get through!"
i Terumi's expression changed dramatically.
Under the moonlight, her curvaceous figure made her easy to recognize. Soon, more Mist shinobi joined the effort to stop the Six-Tails.
One of the teams imdiately used a unique Kekkei Genkai:
"Ice Style: Ice Prison Technique!"
Crack—crack—crack—
Countless layers of ice rose beneath the beast's feet, forming a prison-like structure in an attempt to block it on the street.
"It's the Yuki Clan's shinobi!"
Ao shouted excitedly.
A glimr of hope appeared in i Terumi's eyes.
The Six-Tails' lower body began to feel the freezing effect of the Ice Style, its viscous body slowly starting to freeze.
It beca extrely agitated. Roaring, it unleashed a violent wave of chakra as it twisted its body in resistance.
"Get out of the way!!"
The Uchiha, their Sharingan perceiving the trajectory of what was to co, roared warnings as they scattered and took cover.
Tamao stared at the rampaging beast and shouted with excitent, "It's completely gone berserk!"
Before he could finish, Nanami hoisted him up and carried him away.
Tsunade and Shizune could only watch helplessly. They hadn't been in Konoha during the Nine-Tails' attack years ago.
But now, Tsunade was experiencing firsthand the despair a Tailed Beast brings to a hidden village.
And this was only the Six-Tails…
i Terumi and Ao froze for a mont, watching as the rhino-like hound's body emitted clouds of corrosive mucus. The sky seed to rain gray-white acid.
Splat—
i Terumi instantly dodged with a body flicker, her pupils trembling as she saw a drop of the acid land by her feet—instantly dissolving a kunai on impact.
Black steel and grayish-white liquid hissed into white steam, leaving behind a puddle of dark water.
"…"
After landing, i Terumi suddenly turned her gaze toward the back of the street.
Splash—
The sound of rain began to fall.
From the sky, sheets of gray-white rain ca pouring down like a hail of thrown weapons.
That very building that still hadn't been evacuated was now completely engulfed in the rainstorm.
The Mist shinobi despaired and scattered, seeking cover.
"Watch out!"
In a mont of panic, i Terumi spotted two little sisters who had been separated from their guardian on the side of the street.
The two young girls stood there, lost and helpless.
i Terumi flickered over in an instant, scooping them into her arms and rolling across the ground.
Ssshh—
The spot they had just been standing was instantly dissolved by the acid rain, riddled with holes.
Protecting the two children, i Terumi lifted her head sharply, ford seals, and spat out Lava Style, clashing directly with the incoming acid.
As the acid rain drew nearer, utter despair consud i Terumi's heart.
But at that mont—
Orange-red flas once again lit up all of Kirigakure. The complete-body Susanoo descended from the sky, wings flaring wide, sending the rain of acid flying backward with a single mighty sweep.
Hssss—
The Six-Tails rhinoceros-hound released another burst of white mist from its exhaust vents, clearly frustrated—forced to endure its own corrosive acid attacks with its massive body.
Behind the buildings and street cover, the recently returned Mist shinobi caught a close-up glimpse of a portion of the complete-body Susanoo's massive armor—it was like witnessing a god.
The middle-aged Mist shinobi who earlier wished to face off with the Uchiha now stared up at Susanoo's helt.
Illuminated by the orange-red flas, he vaguely saw the face of Uchiha Yu within.
A shudder ran through him.
That foolish notion of challenging an Uchiha—how utterly laughable it now seed.
If he had to choose again...
He would choose neither.
"Uuu—"
The two little girls on the street stopped crying.
i Terumi's expression finally relaxed, and all the tension in her body drained in an instant.
She quickly left with the two children in tow.
As she gazed at Susanoo's broad back, i Terumi's eyes shimred with emotion. Her heart, once plunged into despair, began to beat once more because of Yu's appearance.
