"That’s impossible! How did you find my balloon? It’s unbelievable! I can’t believe it!" Ichiryu stamred, completely flustered by Hiroshi’s actions.
Hiroshi stepped in front of Ichiryu, smiling. "Alright, alright, stop it. Face reality. Listen to : Don’t hide your most important things in future missions. It’s too easy to get found. Don’t overestimate your hiding skills."
Ichiryu’s anger flared. "Get lost! This was just luck. Next ti, you won’t be so lucky. Just you wait and see!" he shouted, shoving Hiroshi aside.
Hiroshi rely shook his head, a look of weary resignation on his face.
At that mont, sensing their predicant, Ichiryu’s remaining teammate attempted to escape. But Harumiko had already spotted him.
"Trying to run away? Too late," Harumiko said, appearing before the teammate, a smile on her face as she grabbed his balloon.
"No! Please!"
"Pop!"
Harumiko didn’t wait for a response, instantly popping the balloon. With that, Ichiryu’s team was completely eliminated.
"Congratulations, Ichiryu. Your last hope is gone. Your entire team has been eliminated. Such a pity," Hiroshi said, turning to Ichiryu with a smile after Harumiko finished off the last mber.
"Hmph, even if you eliminated us, there are still many strong teams. You won’t win the championship," Ichiryu retorted defiantly.
Hiroshi was about to reply when a voice echoed in his mind.
Impossible. His strength...how can it be so great?
Hiroshi was astonished. He’d just heard Ichiryu’s inner thoughts.
What’s going on? Can I read minds? No, that’s ridiculous. I can’t have telepathy. The system didn’t even ntion this! Hiroshi thought, completely baffled.
For now, Hiroshi put aside the mystery of this apparent telepathy.
"Alright, we don’t have ti for this," Hiroshi said impatiently, standing up.
He returned to his team, exchanged smiles with Harumiko and Rai’s sister, and then continued on their way.
"Wow, Hiroshi, that was aweso! We eliminated so many people! It feels like a dream!" Rai said excitedly, running to Hiroshi’s side with a wide grin.
