Konohagakure Village, in Yayoi's underground laboratory.

Kyōsuke stood in silence, his brows tightly furrowed as he gazed intently at the stone before him.

It was not that there had been any problems with the research. In fact, her experint had proven to be a great success.

Through the use of an overclocked receiver, she had successfully managed to sense signals originating from outer space.

By following the source of these signals, it had not been difficult for Kyōsuke to locate the planet that harbored extraterrestrial life.

What truly left him speechless, however, was the state of the laboratory itself. At so point, without him even realizing, the once tidy and orderly lab had beco overrun by plump, pale-white cloned slugs crawling everywhere.

He had asked her to replicate the creature so they could preserve it for further experintation, but he had never imagined she would produce so many that they were now scattered all over the place.

His granddaughter adored her slug companion and insisted on taking it with her wherever she went. The problem was that Kyosuke found these sticky, slimy creatures deeply unpleasant.

"Its biological structure is extrely fascinating," Yayoi explained calmly, not at all bothered by his complaints. "No matter how far apart they are, even from the Moon to the Earth, two individual slugs are still able to interact with one another."

"So what?" Kyōsuke asked, his tone still tinged with mild annoyance.

"There are two main applications," she replied, casually picking one of the slug clones up and handing it to him. "First, it can help you find your way back ho."

"In the vastness of the stars, if you were to lose your sense of direction, that would practically an a permanent farewell to the shinobi world."

Kyōsuke's eyes lit up the instant he heard those words. He quickly took the slug clone from her hands and gently patted its little head with a smile. "Look at this little fellow. It's actually kind of cute."

"I've always loved sticky, slimy creatures."

Yayoi rolled her eyes. Even though she was already used to how shaless he could be, there were still monts when she found herself at a loss for words.

Once Kyōsuke had finished expressing his sudden fondness for the creature, Yayoi continued her explanation. "The second point, and the more important one."

"As I just said, it is capable of ultra-long-distance connectivity. To put it in your terms, even if you were standing on the Moon, you could still treat here on Earth."

"Now let us look at it from another angle. Doesn't that an it could function as your beacon, enabling you to perform space jumps across galaxies?"

The Otsutsuki clan relied heavily on the spatial abilities tied to their Kāma seals in order to travel between star systems.

Apart from a rare few who had awakened space-ti related abilities, the majority needed a significant amount of ti just to reach their destinations.

The reason was quite simple: spatial teleportation ca with a maximum range limit. In order to continue forward, one had to open a new portal at the edge of each spatial threshold.

This process had to be repeated over and over again, only then could they achieve what would otherwise seem like an impossible interstellar journey.

However, the slugs possessed the ability to connect with their other clones across any distance. This ant that they could act as spatial markers, ignoring the limitation of distance entirely.

While Kyōsuke's core ability remained unchanged, with the aid of these slugs, he could save an imnse amount of travel ti.

After all, when it ca to interstellar travel, ti was asured in years, not days.

Kyōsuke had no desire to go on a trip only to return and find that the shinobi world had already entered the quantum age.

"This… this little creature is really that powerful?" Kyōsuke exclaid, stunned.

What he had initially brought back casually as a spoil of war had unexpectedly turned out to be such a valuable surprise.

With this, he could now set off on his journeys without a single worry in mind.

The first ti might still take so effort, but after a few more trips, as he spread slug clones throughout the galaxy, he would be able to travel anywhere with a re thought.

Since these slugs were born in the laboratory, Yayoi would, of course, sever their link with the Great Slug Sage. With her intelligence, she would never leave behind such a potential threat.

In a single word, Kyōsuke could rest easy using them.

He had endured a brief period of hardship in the early stages, but the future held the promise of complete freedom and limitless mobility.

If he encountered an opponent he could not defeat, he would simply take the people he cared about and flee.

If he could not win, at the very least, he could run.

It was as they said: technology would forever remain the number one driving force of progress. Back when he had spent so many points nurturing Yayoi, it now seed that the investnt had been more than worthwhile.

"In recognition of your outstanding performance," Kyōsuke said with a grin, "I have a gift to give you."

Yayoi gave him a puzzled look as he smiled and led her into a specially prepared underground base.

Placing one hand on the ground, Kyōsuke gave a low shout, "Co forth, Demonic Statue of the Outer Path."

With a thunderous boom, the husk of the Ten-Tails that had once been summoned by Uchiha Madara materialized before them.

"I'm lending it to you for now so you can conduct research. After all, it belongs to Kaguya, and it would not be right for us to keep hogging it."

"Try to develop cloning technology for the God Tree as quickly as possible. Though it appears massive, its structure is far less complex than the human body. The real challenge lies in the resources needed for its production and cultivation."

"The Ten-Tails," Yayoi murmured, her eyes shimring with desire.

After all these years, her strength had remained stagnant, never reaching a level where she could stand alongside Kyōsuke, Uchiha Madara, and the others.

The core issue was that her power lacked the overwhelming scale required to stand among the elite.

To ordinary people, the Tenseigan was already an unfathomable force. Yet to Kyōsuke and his peers, it was rely acceptable, nothing more.

To attain a breakthrough, one needed to rely on certain external forces. Among those, the Ten-Tails stood at the pinnacle, the ultimate augntation.

Not only would it elevate her strength, it held the key to granting humanity the possibility of true immortality.

In the realm of science, there was no end in sight. A lifespan of rely a hundred years was simply far too short. Yayoi had already begun training apprentices and had now set her sights on the study of eternal life.

It was foreseeable that in the coming years, her focus would remain firmly on replicating the Ten-Tails.

"To produce a similar biological entity, the real hurdle lies in the consumption of resources."

"Relying solely on Konoha would be far too strenuous. This project may require assistance from several of the other hidden villages."

As this thought crossed her mind, a faint smile slowly crept onto Yayoi's face. Sowhere out there, soone was about to have a very unfortunate turn of fate.

---

Far away, in the vastness of space, within a star region infamous as a forbidden zone of life.

No one would have imagined that such a place still held a star comparable in size to Betelgeuse.

Just how massive was it?

In terms of volu alone, it was roughly over nine hundred tis the size of the Sun.

The Sun itself was approximately 1.3 million tis larger than the Earth in volu.

The difference between them was not insignificant.

In the boundless reaches of space, many cataclysmic events were capable of wiping out entire civilizations.

Among them, the so-called "Life Forbidden Zones" were the most terrifying. For this reason, few knew that the Otsutsuki clan had been hiding within one of these very regions.

The length of their lives had distorted their perception of ti. While mortals counted their days and years with careful fingers, for the Otsutsuki, a hundred years was rely the most basic unit of ti.

Kaguya had been sealed, Isshiki had disappeared without a trace, and it had taken several millennia before anyone thought to investigate what had happened.

In order to keep track of every clan mber, the Otsutsuki maintained a "Life Tablet" for each individual from the mont of their birth.

As long as a tablet remained intact, it signified that the mber was safe. However, if one were to shatter, a law enforcent squad would be dispatched imdiately to investigate.

This ti, though, three life tablets had broken in quick succession.

Otsutsuki Urashiki.

Otsutsuki Isshiki.

Otsutsuki Kinshiki.

All three had perished one after another within a very short span of ti.

This could only an that sothing had gone terribly wrong on Earth.

"These three have perished, and yet Kaguya and Momoshiki still live."

"I am truly curious. Just what exactly transpired on that planet?"

A vast and ancient consciousness stirred. It issued a command: a thorough investigation must be carried out to uncover the truth of what had occurred on Earth.

Such a result pointed toward only two possibilities.

The first was that a native force existed on Earth, one far beyond the capabilities of ordinary Otsutsuki to resist. A power so great that it had already slain three and possibly captured the remaining two in order to extract information.

The second, that Momoshiki and Kaguya had betrayed the High Council.

Regardless of which scenario was true, skilled individuals had to be dispatched to investigate.

Thus, the Law Enforcent Division was the most suitable choice.

Judging from the basic intelligence, the upcoming mission would take at least several decades to complete.

It was not an especially long ti by their standards, yet so villages viewed this situation with great concern.

Three Ōtsutsuki mbers had perished in succession. Such an event had never occurred before in the long history of the clan.

Even after several internal conflicts, the number of casualties had always remained minimal.

Most who had fallen were not truly dead, but had rely been sealed away. So were even seeking opportunities to resurrect themselves through specially prepared vessels.

As for Earth—that indigenous planet often classified as a "Sub-third Grade" world—there had been nothing particularly noteworthy about it at first glance.

What did this suggest?

There was a high probability that the chaos on Earth had not been instigated by the native inhabitants at all, but had instead stemd from the Ōtsutsuki clan's own internal strife.

Perhaps it was the result of Kaguya's impulsive rebellion. Or perhaps that cursed power struggle between the various factions had once again flared into open conflict.

Regardless of the cause, the Law Enforcent Squad would need to take imdiate action. Any force or elent that threatened the balance had to be dealt with swiftly and without hesitation.

To ensure the mission proceeded without failure, it would be led personally by one of the Twelve Apostles—Sakishiki.

With such abilities, overcoming the natives of Earth would pose no difficulty.

Ōtsutsuki Sakishiki was a fearso warrior, one who had already ignited the Divine Fla twice. The power wielded was imnse.

He had consud more than five chakra fruits throughout his lifeti. However, due to the wide variation in their quality, he had never succeeded in igniting the Divine Fla a third ti.

Without that third ignition, he could not attain the ultimate goal—true eternity and indestructibility.

Against ordinary enemies, he was invincible. But when facing other elites of his caliber, even soone who had ignited the Divine Fla twice could fall in battle.

Even so, deploying soone like Sakishiki for this mission felt excessive, almost wasteful.

And yet, in the end, these few fleeting thoughts had already determined the fate of billions of living beings.

Such was the law of the Ōtsutsuki—a rciless law of survival, like a jungle shrouded in shadow, where the strong devoured the weak without a second thought.

"Long-distance spatial transfer."

---

Kaguya remained silent. Her expression revealed nothing, and no one could guess what calculations were unfolding in her mind at this mont.

In truth, when she learned that Kyōsuke had discovered a planet beyond the stars capable of nurturing life, she could not deny the flicker of envy that stirred in her heart.

The Ōtsutsuki possessed a natural ability to detect chakra signatures. Yet this talent lacked precision. Most of the ti, their so-called discoveries amounted to nothing more than false hope and empty joy.

Finding a suitable planet and planting a God Tree upon it—on the surface, it sounded simple enough. It gave the illusion that chakra fruits could be harvested with ease, as if one could simply toss them into a sack.

But reality was far less kind.

Out of every ten planets they searched, finding even one that could nurture life was already considered fortunate.

Even more frustrating was that, in many cases, the lifeforms on such planets failed to et the minimum standards needed to produce chakra fruit.

If it were truly as easy as it sounded, figures like Isshiki, Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and Urashiki would not have risked everything to travel to Earth.

Nor would the more recent rise of factions that sought to cultivate native populations for future harvest have ever erged.

But what choice did they have?

Ti and again, they returned empty-handed. That persistent disappointnt had long since hardened into a deep, lingering frustration.

At the very least, Kaguya herself no longer wished to endure such exhausting journeys.

Kyōsuke had promised her that once he succeeded in igniting the Divine Fla within himself, he would help her reclaim the nine tailed beasts.

Otherwise, the twin brothers of the Six Paths—lurking silently in the shadows—would never allow their mother to return to her peak.

How devoted those two sons were. True paragons of filial piety.

And yet, they failed to recognize a single truth.

Without Kaguya's rule, the world may have appeared to gain freedom, but the lives of its people had not necessarily improved.
