"Don't move."

Grabbing her chubby little arm, Kyōsuke could clearly feel how nervous the girl was.

"Grandpa, I... I'm going out to play!" Uchiha Kaoru blurted out, attempting to slip away.

Momo had warned her never to reveal his existence to anyone. If soone found out, she could lose this precious friend of hers forever.

The Kāma seal could not be undone. Not even the arrival of another mber of the Ōtsutsuki clan could interfere with the transformation of the vessel.

Momoshiki feared that if humans on Earth discovered he still clung to a shred of life, they would not only co after him but might eliminate the girl as well, just to be safe.

Of course, his concern had nothing to do with any affection for the girl. He simply feared that if she died, she might drag him down with her.

For the sake of his own survival, Momoshiki had no choice but to appease the girl as best he could. Judging by the results, his efforts had paid off.

Even in the presence of the person she loved most—her grandfather—Uchiha Kaoru showed no intention of betraying her friend.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't break free of her grandfather's grip.

Ah, you're really pushing now... The pudgy little girl's lips trembled, and mist began to cloud her wide eyes. That shrill, eardrum-piercing wail was already building at the back of her throat.

With no better option, Kyōsuke had no choice but to let her go. After all, this little Kaoru Goku wasn't going to escape from his Five Finger Mountain.

That evening, father and son sat together, drinking sake. Kyōsuke shared everything he had observed about his granddaughter throughout the day.

He had spent the entire afternoon hidden away, using his dōjutsu to observe her from the shadows.

He had seen Momoshiki with his own eyes. More importantly, he had witnessed how the little girl sohow managed to keep such a formidable being in check.

Relieved, Kyōsuke decided it was ti to tell his son everything, to see how Haruto planned to handle the matter.

"Kill him," Haruto said coldly the mont he heard that sothing foul had attached itself to his daughter. His chakra surged so violently it nearly blew the roof off the house.

"Whoa, whoa, easy there! Since when did you start solving every problem with murder? Who taught you that?!" Kyōsuke was genuinely stunned.

He had always prided himself on being a master strategist, orchestrating every move from the shadows with precision and foresight. Yet sohow, he had raised a son with such an overwhelming thirst for blood.

For a brief mont, a certain figure surfaced in his mind—a man who once stood proudly above all others, as if the entire world existed beneath his gaze.

The way Haruto spoke—always saying "kill," always talking of "annihilation"—wasn't that exactly how the Dance King used to operate? Their ways were practically identical.

"Didn't I tell that brat not to imitate him? Now look what's happened. He's beco a second Uchiha Madara..." Kyōsuke sighed, a rare softness creeping into his voice as he began to miss an old friend long gone.

Once everything here was settled, he thought, he would make ti to pay that old friend a visit.

Once Haruto had cald down, Kyōsuke slowly continued, "Killing him is not entirely out of the question, but there are better ways to handle this."

"First," he said, raising one finger, "Momoshiki doesn't seem capable of taking control. At the very least, he poses no current threat to little Kaoru."

"Second, he doesn't appear to be on good terms with the rest of the Ōtsutsuki. With Yayoi's clone technology still around, we might even be able to win him over."

"Third, in a certain sense, he could act as a talisman... a protective shield for Kaoru."

Hearing these three points, Haruto fell completely silent.

Only now did he understand why, no matter how hard he tried, he had never been able to surpass his father.

Just this single demonstration of foresight and strategic thinking put Kyōsuke leagues ahead of most.

Perhaps only Aunt Yayoi could match him in intellect, but in terms of sheer power, she was nowhere near Kyōsuke's level.

This was the man worthy of the title, God of the Shinobi.

"We'll go with Father's plan," Haruto finally nodded. Still, to set his heart at ease, he insisted on seeing the Ōtsutsuki with his own eyes.

Soon after, the father and son arrived at Kaoru's room.

There, sitting quietly on her bed, the chubby little girl was muttering to herself. In the past, Haruto might have thought she was simply playing pretend.

But now he knew better. She was most likely speaking with the Ōtsutsuki inside her.

Seeing her grandfather and father enter the room together, Kaoru looked up, smiling at first. But it didn't take long for her to realize sothing was off.

"Let him co out," Haruto said, his voice firm with a father's authority.

Not wanting to risk a spanking, Kaoru pouted and reluctantly called out to her dear friend from within.

"But you have to promise not to bully him~"

"Of course, of course. Grandpa promises," Kyōsuke said with a warm smile.

"Hehe, Grandpa is still the best!" she giggled.

Standing nearby, Haruto shot his father a sharp glance. He had not expected the shaless old man to use this mont as an opportunity to win favor with his daughter.

I've miscalculated... he thought grimly.

At the sa ti, sothing beca clearer to him than ever before. Kaoru was truly the one in control.

What led him to that conclusion?

Staring into her small yet radiant Rinnegan eyes, Haruto clicked his tongue in thought. For a brief mont, his mood turned slightly complicated.

He himself had not yet awakened the final Sage Eye, and yet his daughter had already tasted its power.

Judging by what he saw, Kaoru's awakened ability seed especially effective against spiritual entities.

Otherwise, there was no way Momoshiki, a proud Ōtsutsuki, would tolerate being toyed with by a human girl.

With her permission granted, Momoshiki was finally able to show himself.

When asked about their intentions, he fell into a long silence before rasping out a reply.

"Look at . Do I look like soone who is in control of anything?"

"And why is that?" Kyōsuke asked, genuinely curious.

Before answering, Momoshiki turned his head to glance at the fishing rod and basket resting on the table.

"That guy, Urashiki—he's dead, isn't he?"

"Indeed," Kyōsuke replied without hesitation.

"I suppose Isshiki was also killed by your hands," Momoshiki added.

"Quite right," Kyōsuke nodded.

"She possesses a power I'd call... rejection," Momoshiki finally explained. "Anything that goes against her personal consciousness—no matter what it is—she can negate it."

"If she doesn't want to take control, then even the most advanced Ōtsutsuki technology becos nothing but garbage in her hands."

Haruto didn't quite grasp the implications of this statent. But Kyōsuke—he understood.

A man who had lived through the information age, a mind sharpened by endless data and comparisons, couldn't possibly miss the significance of a power like absolute rejection.

Even without witnessing it firsthand, he could imagine what it ant.

The first comparison that popped into his mind was Orihi Inoue from the world of Bleach.

If that was the case, then in the wars to co, this little girl might very well beco the greatest healer in the shinobi world.

While Kyōsuke was still marveling at the revelation, Haruto had already begun negotiating with Momoshiki.

"Protect her for a hundred years, and I will prepare the perfect vessel for you in return."

"No. Thirty years at most."

"Hmph. You are in no position to bargain."

"Damn brat. Do not be so arrogant."

After a round of heated back-and-forth, they settled on a duration of eighty years.

Though it didn't seem far from the original offer, for Momoshiki—given his current situation—it was a rare and precious victory.

Which only highlighted just how miserable his life had beco.

With business settled, Kyōsuke casually asked one last question.

"Out of curiosity... who was it that took you down?"

"That man..." Recalling the divine Susanoo, Momoshiki's voice turned somber. "He had spiky hair like a porcupine. Looked arrogant to the point of being insufferable."

"Madara." The father and son spoke in unison, instinctively reaching the sa conclusion.

Only Kyōsuke seed to sense sothing deeper, and after a mont's thought, he asked, "Then he's still... never mind. I'll confirm it myself."

With a faint shadow clouding his expression, he quietly left the room. Alone, he made his way to the courtyard, pouring himself a drink to ease the mounting unease.

Considering Hashirama had always carried himself in such a manner, one could only imagine that Madara was not faring much better.

To have fought Momoshiki to the death and actually succeeded in taking him down was, by any asure, a feat of imnse significance.

Lifting the wine flask in his hand, Kyōsuke gave a casual nod to the man with the round topknot, then activated his space-ti ability and disappeared, instantly arriving at the hidden underground cavern where Madara lay concealed.

"So that's how it is."

Inside the dimly lit cavern, No. 3 and Zetsu stood side by side, their expressions heavy with unease and exhaustion.

Kyōsuke lowered the now-empty wine flask from his lips. Accepting a glass container from Zetsu, he examined its contents—the Rinnegan that once belonged to Madara.

"Is the resurrection plan ready?" he asked calmly, though his tone held a subtle weight.

Zetsu hesitated briefly before giving an honest answer. "Lord Madara intends to use Rinne Tensei to return to life."

Now that he had awakened his own Rinnegan, Kyōsuke understood the workings of Rinne Tensei on a much deeper level.

Through the power of the King of Hell, the soul of the deceased could be summoned back from the Pure Land. So long as a suitable vessel existed, true resurrection was possible.

In the original history, Uchiha Madara's plan had always been to have Nagato perform Rinne Tensei on him. No one had expected the traitor to instead use the technique to revive those who had died defending Konoha.

Had it not been for the combined efforts of the Obito and Black Zetsu, Madara might never have seen the chance to return to life.

Now, once again, he seed poised to reuse the sa thod.

"Let's change the plan," Kyōsuke said with a shake of the head. "No matter who he ultimately chooses to carry it out, the risks are too high. With Yayoi around, creating a suitable vessel for him won't be a problem."

Kyōsuke understood. Madara was not him—he could not fully place his trust in Yayoi.

But as long as he himself was here, he would never stand by and allow a close comrade to languish alone in the Pure Land.

In truth, Madara was far from alone in that place. The ancestors themselves had shown up to keep him company, even engaging him in spirited conversation.

But such things were fated to remain unknown to Kyōsuke.

"From now on, stay with Yayoi," he said, turning to Zetsu, whose silence had grown increasingly heavy. Kyōsuke offered a gentle smile and reassured him, "Don't worry. I'll take care of everything."

"Alright..." Zetsu responded with a faint nod, though his deanor remained listless and drained.

He had attempted to possess No. 2's body again, only to find that he no longer felt even the most basic of biological impulses.

And with Madara gone, despair had seeped into the deepest corners of his soul. It was as though the entire world had lost its aning.

"Let it all be destroyed," Zetsu muttered, devoid of strength.

anwhile, the original White Zetsu erged from who-knows-where, its sudden appearance drawing Kyōsuke's wary gaze.

"I've got news you might find interesting," it said.

Kyōsuke looked at the pitcher-plant-like creature before him, sowhat anxious it would start its speech with a cheery 'Hello.'

That would have been far too jarring.

As for the so-called 'surprise' it ntioned, there was little doubt in Kyōsuke's mind—it likely had sothing to do with Kaguya.

In truth, there were not many threats left in the shinobi world that he truly considered worth his attention.

Kaguya was one of them.

The Sage of Six Paths was another.

And, perhaps, the terrifying Hyūga ancestor who once sent shivers down his spine—he might count as half of one.

Beyond that, the five great nations and the Shinobi Sect were of little consequence.

If he so wished, Kyōsuke could annihilate them all with a re flick of his hand.

"It's Ōtsutsuki Kaguya," White Zetsu finally revealed.

The so-called surprise was indeed the Rabbit Goddess herself.

At first, Kyōsuke did not pay it much mind. But circumstances had changed drastically. The current Kaguya—yet to be fully resurrected—was arguably even weaker than the one Naruto and Sasuke had once faced.

There was a high probability that even her reality-bending dinsional ability could not be easily activated in her current state.

Defeating her might be difficult, but resealing her would not pose too great a challenge.

And yet, when Kyōsuke learned that the very first black-and-white film of Kaguya's life was soon to premiere, his jaw quite literally dropped… and landed right on Madara's grave.
