Landing at the bottom of the hole, Aekari quickly looked up to see if Shiro was fine.
"Eh?" Tilting his head, he was surprised that she was using a staff to slow down her fall.
Drawing a vertical line down the wall, she landed without too much trouble.
"That’s... quite the choice of movent." Aekari laughed.
"It’s nothing compared to just jumping down haha." Shiro replied.
However, deep down, she knew that she would have strapped a rocket to her back and charged through the entrance without waiting.
"Let’s go, we can’t wait too long after all." Aekari said while gesturing for her to follow closely.
"Mn." Nodding her head, Shiro followed behind him.
Tracing her fingers along the walls without him knowing, she released several strands of nanobots to map out the base for her.
Just as she did this, she sensed two powerful signatures charging towards her.
’Level 100’s already.’ She thought to herself while readying her staff.
"Stand behind !" Aekari shouted out while a golden aura exploded out from him

Feeling his aura up close, Shiro instantly felt a sense of rejection since she was a monster.
It was the kind of feeling that prompted her to either kill him or flee straight away.
*BANG!!!
Blocking two strikes with his sword, Aekari slid back a few steps before pushing the assailants back.
"Mystic Empowernt!" Shiro commanded and activated her skill that she received from when she levelled up to 60.
This skill would enhance an elent of her choosing by 30% while the cost of using said elent by 20%.
The duration of this skill was 5 minutes but this would help the hero quite a bit considering the fact that his light elent was enhanced by 30%. For people of the sa level, this kind of bonus was lethal.
"Thanks!" Aekari smiled after seeing the boost.
The aura around his body flared imnsely as he activated his True Elent Armour.
Receiving another boost to his strength, he charged towards the enemies.
However, they weren’t idle either. Activating their own berserk skills along with their True Elent Armour, they dashed forwards in retaliation.
Surprised that they both used the elent of fire, Shiro only smiled since this was the perfect opportunity to use her second skill.
’Sylph Queen’s Decree.’
While her first skill buffed a certain elent, her second skill would reduce the effects of a chosen elent. If their tier was lower than her’s, the elent would be sealed for the ti this skill was activated
Snapping her fingers, a semi translucent barrier appeared around the area as the enemy’s flas started to flicker and slowly dim.
"A debuff! Kill the support!" One of the enemies shouted out while the other nodded his head.
"Not on my watch!" Aekari stomped down and flickered in front of the enemy that had tried to target Shiro.
Twisting his body, he sent a flurry of attacks towards him, forcing him to retreat while several slash marks could be seen on his body.
Seeing this, Shiro knew it was a perfect mont to trap the enemy.
Frozen Hell Series – Frozen Slumber!
Clutching her first at the enemy, a series of magic circles flickered around him. Chains shot out of the magic circles while the area around him started to rapidly freeze up.
"An insta cast skill!" He widened his eyes.
Activating one of his status removal skills, he quickly retreated.
’Tsk!’ Clicking her tongue, Shiro frowned.
"Shiro, do you have any more support skills?" Aekari asked while clashing with the other enemy.
"Mn." Nodding her head, she created a frozen flute and blew softly on the lip.
A gentle lody rang out as she activated Fae Illusions.
Jumping backwards, Aekari crouched down and readied his sword for one of his most powerful skills.
Holy Smite!
Flashing in front of the enemy, he wondered why the enemy was looking another way but attacked anyways.
*BANG!!!!
His body was sent flying back as Aekari had restrained his strength a little so that he didn’t kill his enemy.
’Tch, naïve.’ Shiro rolled her eyes since these people didn’t deserve to live. After all, they’re agreeing with the research done on kidnapped children.
Before the other could react, Aekari boosted his speed to the limit and knocked him out as well.
"Fu..." Breathing out heavily, he cald his heart rate since increasing his speed to the limit always put quite a bit of stress on his body.
Just as the fight finished, most of the guards had arrived and widened their eyes in surprise.
"You’ve finished them both off?" The captain asked after seeing two level 100’s passed out on the ground. He could tell that they’re both level 100’s since the amount of mana within their bodies is just below what an early B ranked powerhouse would have.
"It wasn’t just alone. Shiro had helped trendously with her support skills. Without this, I would have struggled with holding off two level 100’s." Aekari smiled while gesturing to Shiro.
"I didn’t do much in terms of fighting though. I can only support." Shiro smiled embarrassingly.
{Bullsh*t! Support my ass! If you say you can’t fight, then no one can.} Nimue rolled her eyes at the absolute bullcrap that was being said.
Looking at Shiro in confusion, the guard captain was a little suspicious at how a girl with such little mana could even assist in defeating level 100’s.
What he didn’t know was that Shiro was a master of controlling her mana so suppressing it to this extent was rather simple for her.
"Anyways, let’s start clearing out the labs. You two, cuff these guys up with suppressive locks and take them away to the prison. Everyone else, split up into groups of three then move out." The captain ordered as the guards nodded their heads.
Working seamlessly, Shiro had to admit that they were well trained.
"Shiro, we’ll move together towards the heart of the base ok? We can’t give the person behind this a chance to escape after all." Aekari suggested.
"Um, I’ll help you along the way."
As more paths started to appear around the base, the group split up to cover as much space as possible.
Shiro made sure that her drone was scanning the entire area from under the island in case any of the scientists tried to escape. If they did, she bet that there was a high chance that he’ll have all of the research materials that she needed.
Venturing further into the base, their combination of abilities allowed them to make short work of the level 100’s that had appeared.
Of course, it was still quite stressful for the hero to launch large attacks one after the other but Shiro created a small shard of Ataraxia and helped him regenerate as much mana as possible.
"You’re a huge help you know that right? Thank you." Aekari praised earnestly.
"Mn." Nodding her head in acknowledgent, Shiro had a hard ti believing that this was what the hero was like before becoming the ass that she knew him to be. An egotistical piece of sh*t who had an inferiority complex.
One that would use everything he could to gain as much power as he can and kill those that opposed him.
It was almost ridiculous to think that this was who he was. But life was mysterious in its ways. One could easily lose themselves to the passage of ti.
{Are you having second thoughts?} Nimue asked curiously.
’Not really. Just bored thoughts. It’s quite strange isn’t it? Seeing what soone is like in their early years.’ Shiro shrugged.
{True. It’s like you and Nytri. I can hardly see the similarities. If one were to tell that Nytri would beco you one day, I’ll slap them and say bullsh*t haha.} Nimue laughed.
’Indeed. But that’s just how life is.’
While Shiro was talking to Nimue, she and the hero continued to the main room. Enemies started to increase in power but they were akin to puppets rather than actual people. This made them easier to kill despite their increase in numbers.
*BANG!
Kicking down the door to the main room, Aekari widened his eyes when he saw a giant ch that was the size of a huge building.
"Welco, now die!" A voice sneered as the ambient mana surged towards the ch.
A rail cannon appeared out of the chest and aid towards the two of them.
"Tch, so they got a prototype up and ready huh? What a pain." Shiro clicked her tongue and got out of character. Since she had found the main room, she had no need to keep acting.
Dragging the hero by the shoulder, she pulled him into the rift as thanks for taking her this far.
*BOOM!!!!
Widening his eyes at the beam of pure energy that was about to hit him, the hero was shocked when he suddenly felt Shiro grab his shoulder.
Before he realised it, he saw that he was within a strange dinsion.
"Shiro?" He muttered in confusion and looked back.
Seeing Shiro without her priest robes but rather her own set of black clothing, he was taken aback at her change in aura.
Previously, it was a shy ek aura but now, it was quite an overbearing dominant one.
"Thanks for the trip here." Shiro smiled while brushing her hair back with her hand.
Bringing out her sword, she stretched her body and prepared herself for the fight against the ch.
