Xiao Fang thought for a mont, but decided not to reply.
The truth was, he heard her and Supre Elder Quan entering the cave where the Abnormal Cannibal Beast was hiding last night. He was able to lure them away from the beast using the clone he had left there, but now he no longer had eyes on the Cannibal Abnormal Beast.
Currently, he was blind as to what was happening in the 7th floor of the Ancestral Training Ground, so once the carriage had left, Xiao Fang entered the 7th floor himself to check on the Cannibal Abnormal Beast's current state. However, when Xiao Fang arrived at the cave, he discovered the Abnormal Cannibal beast was still exactly how he left it. Cultivating cross legged like a cultivator. It still amazed Xiao Fang to see it.
Xiao Fang noticed the small pile of beast cores on the other end of the cave, so he assud the beast must've gone out hunting for a bit.
Taking out his High-Grade spirit pendant, he planned to absorb the beast cores left behind, but then he realized sothing odd. The beast's bodies on the ground were only half eaten.
'Did he get full, or does he no longer have an appetite for 8th tiered beasts?' Xiao Fang thought.

Before Xiao Fang could co to the next thought, he felt a dangerous chill, but it only lasted for a brief mont.
Turning his head to the beast, Xiao Fang said.
{"If you're looking for an opening, I'll tell you now, there will be none."} Xiao Fang said to it via spirit transmission so that it would understand him.
The beast finally opened its eyes with a devilish grin on its face, then to Xiao Fang's surprise it suddenly spoke.
"How interesting, even with your back turned to , I really didn't sense any openings. How are you doing it?"
"Since when did you learn how to speak?" Xiao Fang asked, but the beast ignored his question and simply stood up.
"You know, I was planning to make your death quick to repay you for sparing my life, but that wouldn't have been as fun. I want to see how much stronger I've gotten. Aren't you also curious?"
Xiao Fang was also curious to see how much stronger he himself got since assimilating completely with his Curse energy, but he was no fool. This wasn't a playful duel he could ss around in, the beast was looking at him as if he were food. Making a mistake now would be the death of him.
"Don't talk too much, show what you can do," Xiao Fang said.
"Hahahahaha!! Yes, let's fight to the death!" the beast said as illusory clones suddenly began to spew out of its body.
'A beast that can cultivate, talk, and now use cultivation techniques. Is this real?' Xiao Fang couldn't wrap his head around it, but he had no ti to think.
Understanding that he couldn't risk not going all out, Xiao Fang used his True Immortal Lightning spirit attribute and cursed Qi all at once. Seeing that, the cannibal abnormal beast roared ferociously, then charged towards Xiao Fang, striking him with everything he had.
From a single clash, crevices and cracks appeared in the walls all around them. It was clear at that very mont that this fight wasn't going to be easy for either of them.

In the carriage exiting the Black Paradise sect, Supre Elder Song noticed Xiao Fang's Clone get visibly distressed, as if his real body was undergoing an intense and arduous battle. However to her surprise it only lasted 5 minutes.
'Is he done already?' she thought.
That ti was too long to be a simple duel, however it was far too short to be a serious fight, so she couldn't wrap her head around it.
'Just what exactly is that boy doing in JadePeak city. And why is he in a serious fight while handicapping himself by not using the clone he has here sitting in front of ,' she thought.
The idea that a man like Xiao Fang could create more than 1 clone despite only being in the Inner Court for less than a week was incomprehensible to her. If she knew he could already create 3 clones, she simply wouldn't believe it.
However, rembering that Xiao Fang was nominated to be one of the 10 disciples of the younger generation to fight in the upcoming province-wide tournant representing the Black Paradise sect was enough to convince her that he certainly wasn't ordinary.
Waiting for his clone to appear visibly less distressed, she eventually asked,
"Who were you fighting?"
Xiao Fang didn't expect to be spoken to right after such an intense fight against the Abnormal Cannibal Beast, but once he was able to clear his head, he eventually replied.
"It was not a person."
"You were fighting a tiered beast? What tier was it?" She asked curiously.
"Who knows," Xiao Fang replied.
It finally made sense to her why it only took 5 minutes, but she didn't understand where in the JadePeak city he could've encountered a beast. The JadePeak city was a hub for powerful cultivators to visit from all over the country, even outside of it. It was common to see strange things and people there, so she didn't bother to ask him any further questions about the matter.

Back in the cave on the 7th floor of the Ancestral Training Ground, the beast now laid on the ground with its arms and legs chopped off, looking up at the ceiling, coughing up blood, as if it was waiting for Xiao Fang to take its life.
Although their physical strengths were similar, Xiao Fang's techniques and cleverness made a world of a difference. Even if the beast had trained for another years, it still had no confidence in its ability to beat Xiao Fang wielding a sword. At his current state, the beast sat at the pinnacle of the cultivation world, no peak divine realm cultivator could dare stand a chance against it, but yet, he still felt small in Xiao Fang's eyes.
'Perhaps if he wasn't fighting with a sword, this fight would've been much closer,' the beast thought, but the mont the beast saw Xiao Fang looking down at him, any chance of beating him suddenly left his mind. It knew Xiao Fang still had more tricks up his sleeve, and didn't put him in his eyes at all.
"Finish ," the beast said impatiently.
