The battle with the Treant started with Aurora throwing six Fire Lance’s at it. Fire Lance was a strong magic spell which could deal a massive amount of damage to a single target. And it was also the best probing spell against a fire weak opponent.

As soon as this spell was launched, suddenly three large fruits appeared on the tree branch. All of these fruits had faces on them. Then the faces started to chant and a barrier of wind appeared to stop the Fire Lances.

It looked like this Treant was also a magic user and it could even produce more mouths to multi cast spells. Obviously Aurora was capable of doing something better and without using cheats. So she was definitely a better and more accomplished mage.

This Treant was not as good so it needed to resort to cheating but that did not make it weak. And as it was able to block the fire Lances with the wind barrier, it was clear that the magic related stats of this tree was definitely high.

In that case, there was a high possibility that the magic resistance of this tree would also be quite high. So the best way to deal with it was to use physical attacks.

And this team had several strong warriors. So it did not lack the physical attack capabilities as at all.

So immediately, the four pure warriors started to run toward the large tree with their weapons and fists ready for action. Noticing this and realising it’s threat, the Treant made a move to stop the ladies.

Roots came out of the ground and immediately took humanoid forms. In a blink of an eye, several hundreds of wooden puppets appeared to block the path of the warrior ladies.

Myra used her large shield to ram onto the wooden puppets and blew them apart. Sarmonica used her axe to chop them down several at a time. Tera’s fists blusted them away easily and Palcara moved like lightning and everything in her way were destroyed.

Even though the ladies destroyed dozens of wooden puppets in seconds, they were still unable to match the rate at which the Treant was able to produce them. This boss was considered to be especially strong for a reason.

So, the situation between the wooden puppets and the warrior ladies turned into a stalemate. The wooden puppets had no way to hurt the ladies but the ladies were also unable to defeat all of them quickly enough.

But there was a difference between two sides. The ladies had friends behind them who were there to help them. But the large Treant behind the wooden puppets was not there to help them but to use them as sacrifice.

While this battle was happening, Petra was covering Ren and Sasha with a transparent barrier so that they could watch the battle and learn safely. And now that she was done, she was ready to participate in this battle.

Petra was a mage who was comparable to an A rank powerhouse even though she was not registered in the adventurer guild. And as soon as she was available for battle, she cast a large and powerful spell.

"Sand Cyclone"

She had even stronger wind and sand combination spell but this boss chamber was way too small to use them. If she forcefully used them here, there would be a chance that she might hurt her team members by mistake.

While Petra cast her first spell, Nessa cast her second. Her first one was to boost the range of the second one.

"Heaven’s Crush"

As soon as this spell was used, all the puppets felt a pressure on their shoulder and they immediately started to slow down. As for the other ladies, they did not feel anything. Nessa really had a very good control over her magic.

Then the Sand Cyclone reached the slowed down wooden puppets and blew them all away. Just this single spell wipped out almost 70 percent of them. As for the rest, they were taken care of by the warrior ladies.

With this, the warriors now had a clear path and they were ready to attack the main body. But the Treant still had a last trick to play in front of warriors.

It used some kind of magic skill and immediately the ladies felt that their bodies were being restricted and they were having trouble moving.

From their experience, the ladies immediately realised that this was some kind of special ability that imposed a restriction upon people who had INT stats under a certain threshold. So it was a super effective skill against warriors.

This kind of broken skills were the reason why the death count in the dungeons were so high. It also was one of the reason why most of the adventurers worked in teams with both warriors and mages.

But other than the four pure warriors, there was a fifth one who had sneaked in and was keeping a low profile. And surprisingly, this warrior was not effected by this skill at all.

As the Treant had shown a massive opening after becoming sure that the warriors were not a threat anymore, this lady took full advantage of this opening. She immediately closed the distance between the Treant and herself and swang her sword at it.

This blow landed a direct hit and immediately after that, a point blank fire spell "Inferno" was used. The main mouth of the Treant immediately started howling in pain.

In this moment, probably due to pain, the concentration of the Treant faltered and it’s magic became weak. Taking that opportunity, Aurora pushed back and started to prepare a stronger spell to finish it off.

That was exactly when another A ranker made her move. And it was none other than Grace who had not done anything so far because there was no need to.

"Glory Sanctuary"

This spell covered the whole boss chamber because during this whole time, she was actually increasing its range. And now everyone was effected by its buffs.

The effect of the broken skill had also expired on the warrior ladies. So they were able to move now and all of them immediately used their own powerful arts. Aurora also used a powerful spell called "Scarlet Explosion".

The Treant boss was unable to defend against them and suffered a direct hit. So what would be that result of that ? Would it be enough to finish the boss off ?
