Chapter 149: Fought Every Single Day

Leo continued to scan the bones that littered the floor, as they were all kinds from monsters to human skeletons. While doing this, the beautiful Veladra explained when appearing beside him.

’’These are the remains of past adventurers and monsters who perished battling the boss throughout the dungeon’s history,’’ she explained, following his gaze. ’’This place was once a popular leveling ground, but after the previous Demon King’s son died here, it’s been cursed ever since.’’

Leo turned to the red-skinned woman, curiosity flickering in his eyes. ’’Interesting. Do you know what kind of monster the boss is? And just how strong are we talking?’’

Veladra nodded before answering, ’’It was a Dark Wyvern, if I rember correctly, but I don’t know since devils were there.’’

When Leo heard this, he understood and started thinking to himself, ’How can the dungeon change like that?’

He shrugged before spotting the arena entrance up ahead and got excited as he wanted to fight powerful opponents, which caused his excitent to surge forward. As the trio stepped into the area, they spotted a giant devil wearing armor surrounded by a small army.

It stood at a towering ten feet, its massive fra built like a bodybuilder sculpted from pure muscle. Its pitch-black eyes radiated malice, exuding an aura so sinister that even Astra and Veladra shivered involuntarily.

’Oh, it looks like the devil I fought while unconscious,’ he pondered before turning to the won. ’’You two handle the little fish as I deal with the boss. I’ll help occasionally, but this monster is the sa strength as .’’

They nodded and began preparing their spells as Leo summoned the Demon King’s armor, which erupted into existence in a sudden burst of dark energy and started wrapping around him.

Astra’s crimson eyes glead with excitent at the sight when seeing this, a delighted smile curling on her lips. ’’Oh, Master,’’ she purred in a seductive voice, ’’That armor suits you so perfectly. I absolutely love it.’’

Leo chuckled at her words, but his amusent was short-lived as the devil unleashed a thunderous roar that rattled the arena’s floor and caused his won to step back in shock as it affected them.

Within monts, the enemy army surged forward, causing the ground to shake, prompting him to unleash a barrage of powerful and volatile Thunderbolts and Fireballs. Explosions erupted as Astra and Veladra unleashed their own spells, tearing through the horde and sending them flying.

The onslaught only enraged the boss, who fixed Leo with a furious glare full of hatred, one that only made his grin widen in anticipation. Following that, the battle began as the won’s spells wiped out dozens of monsters.

As the battle raged on, Astra and Veladra continued their relentless spell casting, weaving death through the enemy ranks. anwhile, Leo surged forward like a streak of lightning, his sights locked onto the boss.

’Let’s see if they it can handle this,’ he thought with a growing smirk.

Sensing the imminent threat, the creature attempted to react, but Leo was too fast. In a blink, he closed the distance and delivered a devastating blow. A thunderous crack echoed through the arena.

A thunderous shockwave tore through the battlefield as the impact hurled the boss through the air, crashing him into the ground with earth-shattering force. Dust and debris erupted from the impact.

’Now let’s have so fun with this thing and test out my new strength on sothing as strong,’ he pondered as the excitent overwheld his senses.

In a blur, Leo surged forward, his fist crackling with raw power before he drove it straight into the devil’s skull with a devastating California Smash just as it struggled to rise. The sheer blow sent the creature plumting back into the crater left by the first strike.

Before the dust could settle, a horde of smaller devils sward toward him, their demonic shrieks piercing the air. Leo’s eyes ignited with an electric glow, power surging through his veins.

With a smirk, he raised his hand and unleashed a fully charged Thunderbolt, the sky of the dungeon itself roaring as a torrent of lightning crashed down upon the advancing horde, obliterating them in a blinding explosion of light and fury.

As Leo clashed with the boss, Astra and Veladra stood their ground, unleashing wave after wave of magic to keep the monster’s back. Spells erupted across the battlefield, lighting up the chaos.

The Demon Queen stole a glance at her companion as the earth trembled beneath them. ’’He’s grown so much stronger since arriving in the empire,’’ she murmured, admiration gleaming in her eyes.

Veladra, the red-skinned sorceress, nodded in agreent before offering her own insight. ’’Master has fought every single day since coming here. He’s endured brutal battles and faced horrors that would break most, but each trial has only honed his strength.’’

Following that, the two of them continued using their magic to thin out the horde just as giant Fireballs slamd into the enemies thanks to Leo, who was still fighting the injured boss, which made them smile.

’So he’s helping while fighting,’ Astra thought with a giggle. ’What a thoughtful master.’

anwhile, he was relentlessly pumling the devil. The monstrous foe struggled to comprehend what was happening as deafening booms echoed across the battlefield with each devastating strike.

Blow after blow, Leo’s fists shattered the enemy’s armor, cracks spreading like a web. He gave no rcy, his assault relentless, his strength undeniable, each punch driving the devil closer to utter ruin.

Leo’s assault left the boss helpless, each strike causing him to grow stronger. The sheer force of his attacks sent tremors rippling through the arena. The ground cracked beneath their feet.

But just as victory seed certain, a shadow lood overhead, catching Leo off guard, who barely had ti to react before a massive foot crashed into his chest. The impact sent him hurtling through the air, slamming into a nearby wall with bone-rattling force.

Pain flared through his body, but he gritted his teeth, forcing himself to focus. Through the dust and debris, his gaze locked onto the newcor, a towering devil, radiating a power far beyond anything he had faced before.

’’This thing is strong, but it will be fun to fight and level up even more,’’ he muttered while climbing out of the hole.

As the new devil spoke with a mocking tone, ’’Is this the new Demon King? How pathetic.’’

Leo chuckled softly, his laughter growing as he allowed his body to heal. When he was ready, he looked up and said, ’’When you catch soone off guard, that happens. Now, let

show you what true power looks like.’’

Without waiting, sothing snapped inside and mana erupted from his body that shook the whole dungeon. The demon won looked at him with wide eyes just as a powerful mana barrier covered them.

He dashed forward so fast that he instantly killed the smaller devils before leaping into the air and landed a Supernova Punch that connected with the stronger opponents with a loud boom.

The newcor stumbled back with a shocked expression on its face, but Leo followed up with the attack and kept unloading dozens of punches to the devil’s torso. They were so strong that the ground shook like an earthquake hit it.

Leo’s fists flew like thunder, each punch crashing into the devil with an intensity that shook the ground. The enemy staggered, unable to keep up with the relentless barrage. With each blow, his strength seed to grow, his fury only intensifying.

But as he swung once again, the devil smirked as he dodged just in ti. The force of Leo’s attack missed by inches, and before he could react, the devil retaliated. A sharp, burning pain exploded across his side as a strike landed with brutal precision.

He grunted, feeling the sting, but his eyes burned with fury. ’’You’re fast,’’ he growled. ’’But not fast enough.’’

Following that, they clashed again and again, each strike a test of power and will. His fists tore through the air, landing blows that rattled the devil’s bones. But the enemy was quick avoiding or countering every strike.

Blood spilled from both their bodies as claws t flesh, and blows landed with crushing force. Leo’s face was bloodied thanks to the fight, a gash across his cheek, but his eyes burned with excitent as the fight continued.

The devil, too, sported deep cuts, his chest heaving as blood trickled from a wound near its ribs as it stared at him with rage-filled black eyes that were glowing. This made him laugh as he quickly cast a dozen Thunderbolts at it.

As the projectiles sliced through the air, explosions behind him causing Leo to glance back just as the monsters closed in on Astra and Veladra who were tired, ’Shit they need to rest but the horde is growing,’ he thought while thinking about a solution.
