84: Chapter 72: Neither Changing My Na Nor My Surna, Death Knight 84: Chapter 72: Neither Changing My Na Nor My Surna, Death Knight Wayne quietly observed the totem murals related to the Evil God.

The magical texts recorded that each Evil God located in Hell harbored the desire to destroy the world.

By comparison, darkness and death were simply in conflict with beliefs in nature, the sun, and moonlight.

There was no explicit record that either goddess sought to destroy the world.

These words should be taken with a grain of salt.

Indeed, there was no explicit record of a goddess wanting to destroy the world, but neither was it stated that a goddess wouldn’t destroy it.

One embraced darkness, the other welcod death, causing ordinary people to harbor so psychological resistance.

Nature, the sun, and moonlight were different, Wayne was willing to throw himself into their embrace.

“Master, where are the thoughts of the councilors?”

Seeing Wayne staring at the wall murals without a word, Ah Bo realized that the situation was not so simple.

The eight councilors who manipulated the Dark Forces to abduct young girls weren’t rely involved in a simple exchange of power and lust.

Sinking into despondency, the glimr of hope that had barely risen was extinguished in an instant.

Ah Bo awaited his master’s response, hoping he was overthinking it.

Wayne didn’t speak.

He touched his bald crown, turned around, and approached the dining table, flipping one of the seated councilors with a backhand.

The five-ter diater round table had only eight seats, with wide gaps in between, ample enough to fit an Undead Knight clad in armor.

But Wayne still chose to make the other party move aside involuntarily.

Since soone had to take the extra steps, why couldn’t it be a councilor?

Besides, the other party did not object.

As soon as Wayne’s fingertips touched the table, a dark ink-like circle spread, the corrosive power of death perating to the bone marrow.

The five-ter diater round table was reduced to ash at a speed visible to the naked eye.

After the wooden table disappeared, a Magic Array Diagram about three ters in diater was exposed in front of Wayne and Ah Bo.

The intricate design was primarily a pentagram structure made of blood, corresponding to the Blood Totem on the wall and ford a perfect Inverted Pentagram.

The pentagram, symbolizing protection and strength, is often used by Mages to cast spells.

Broadly, it represents the good virtues of friendship, devotion, generosity, wisdom, and purity.

But if the pentagram is inverted, then I am sorry, all of the above inverts, aning a loss of goodness.

And the opposite of good is evil.

The Inverted Pentagram is commonly associated with the Evil Gods of Hell, and depending on the worshipped Evil God, adherents might add different symbols to the Inverted Pentagram Magic Array.

The Magic Array before them was related to the blood faith, indicating that the eight councilors, even if not disciples of blood, were directly associated with it.

Heavenly Father’s Court should deal with the Evil Gods of Hell.

As a preparatory mber of the Naturalism Church and the temporary holder of Shadowmare, Wayne’s specialization did not match, but having co all this way, there was no reason to pretend as if he saw nothing.

Moreover, him being just a skeleton, going to the church late at night to ask for help, it would be a miracle if the priest gave him a friendly look.

Wayne committed the Pentagram Magic Array to mory, waving his hand to sprinkle the corrosive breath of death.

The floor tiles fell and crumbled, rapidly turning to sand until they completely dissipated.

The three-ter diater pit was pitch-black.

Ah Bo stepped forward quickly, peering into the depths of the abyss.

It seed bottomless, which made his scalp tingle, and he hurriedly stepped back two paces to avoid tumbling in.

As a novice, Wayne only understood basic magical theory; he couldn’t comprehend the effect of the complex Magic Array Diagram.

Facing Ah Bo’s pleading gaze, he scoffed, “It’s connected to a spatial channel, it just looks deep.

The councilors’ minds are all down there; they drink blood and obain great spiritual satisfaction.”

Ah Bo nodded in half-understanding; this was far more frightening than contraband.

“Master, can the spatial channel be closed?”

You’re asking , whom shall I ask?

Why don’t you wait a while, I’ll make a phone call to the teacher.

Wayne didn’t speak.

He had never shown his true face to Ah Bo, deliberately creating an illusion of an inhuman master.

It started as amusing, and the more he did it, the more amusing it beca.

Wayne did not intend to reveal his true face, saying gravely, “The abyssal channel has a chanism that can be opened.

If I’m not mistaken, the gang kidnaps girls and brings them here.

The councilors throw the girls into the abyss, and then…

It’s a bit sinister.

You can think of it as a bloody feast.”

“Now that the Magic Array has been destroyed, the abyssal channel will soon vanish.

It’s fine to ignore it.”

It should be like this.

Wayne’s foundation in magical theory was solid.

Guided by the central principle that fundantals never change, he made so guesses mixed with educated suppositions.

He admitted there was an elent of gambling, but indeed he had grasped the crux.

Soon after, a roar ca from the Dark Abyss.

Vaguely, both Ah Bo and Wayne’s thoughts were disturbed, and a grand illusion appeared before their eyes.

In the midst of a vast sea of blood, a gigantic figure brandished its arms and bellowed.

Its body’s stature was as imnse as mountains, covered in green scales.

The dense scales bathed in sticky blood glead with a light nad cruelty.

Atop the beast’s head were spiraling, backward-curved horns, and its furious eyes were as red as molten lava.

Its roar echoed like thunder, causing the entire blood sea to roil and surge, raising huge crimson waves that turned into cascades of red waterfalls.

On closer inspection, one would realize that the blood sea wasn’t only inhabited by the beast.

Around the beast were old ships resembling toys.

If the blood sea were the beast’s bathtub, these ships would be its rubber duck toys.

But clearly, this blood sea was the beast’s hunting ground, and it was the sole ruler.
