650: Chapter 269 Magic Really Has Its rits 650: Chapter 269 Magic Really Has Its rits “Father!”

“Villy!”

As the sun set, a large hand held a small one.

The Glamor Lady, leading Villy, sprinted under the sunset; it was the youth that had passed them by.

This scene depicted a father trying to make up for the childhood his child had lost, playing with her in the fields.

The scene was too beautiful; Wayne couldn’t bear to watch.

He shivered, took off his coat, and draped it over the Dark-Skinned Elf.

The surgery had encountered no issues, everything had been normal.

The female Elf has always looked like this, it wasn’t because Doctor Wayne accidentally cut sothing off during the operation.

In other words, this individual couldn’t possibly be Villy’s father.

Her mother, more likely!

Because she was his mother-in-law, Wayne didn’t dare offend her and covered her exposed body, puzzled as to why Villy’s mother, Carter, would be a follower of the Dark Goddess.

It shouldn’t be!

Wayne rembered clearly, both Villy and Dick had stated that her parents were followers of the Sun Goddess.

Especially Villy’s father, Kushin, a current attendant of the Sun Knight, who wielded part of the Sun Knight’s power.

He would under no circumstances marry a female Elf from a hostile faction and have children, so…

“Lady Mother-in-law must be an undercover agent for the Sun Church infiltrating the Dark Church, not a Dark Church mole within the Sun Church!”

Wayne tried to convince himself, but the truth proved the situation was worse than he imagined.

In terms of the Essence of Life, the Dark-Skinned Elf’s body was extrely strong, definitely on the level of a Legendary Mage, on the sa level as Saina’s body.

An undercover agent becoming a Legendary Mage?

That’s just fooling ghosts!

Wayne didn’t want to admit it but could only encourage Villy to bravely face reality.

Her mother was from the Dark Church, her approach to her father was not pure-hearted, most likely with motives related to the power of the Sun Knight.

But now, ntioning this was pointless; the female Elf’s body held no consciousness, only an empty shell remained.

It was with great difficulty that she had found her mother, only to discover that…

Wayne felt sorry for Villy as a coffin bathed in golden light was delivered at the border between darkness and light.

The warm power of sunlight didn’t seem fake; it was the Divine Power the Sun Knight had lost.

Wayne rolled up his tentacles and took it, and before he could see clearly, The Book of Greed couldn’t wait, poking its head out and howling with an eager gulp.

Gulp!

The Book of Greed: I’m fine now.

A portion of the Sun Knight’s power, not strong, just a sweet treat, better to have than not.

Wayne raised his hand and passed over the Golden Light Coffin, unleashing power of the sa attribute.

After dispersing the radiant golden light in all directions, a figure suddenly tumbled to the ground.

The woman had radiant golden hair, was clad in a Magic Robe, and lay sleeping with her eyes closed, serene as a sleeping beauty waiting for her prince’s call.

Her hands were crossed over her chest, holding a Knight’s dal.

The power of the Sun Knight originated from the dal, which opened a defense similar to a coffin, ensuring her mind and body remained uncontaminated.

Looking at the woman’s face which was nearly identical to Villy’s, Wayne suddenly realized: this was Villy’s real mother; the Glamor Lady beside her…

“Who the hell are you?”

The female Elf couldn’t be Villy’s father, nor her mother; Wayne’s forehead was covered with a string of question marks.

He took his coat back and put it on himself.

We’re not close; don’t wear my clothes; they might get the wrong idea!

Wayne glanced at the Dark-Skinned Elf a few tis, he hadn’t paid attention earlier; the Glamor Lady was good-looking, with a hot figure, not as dark as he had imagined, her skin smooth and delicate, radiating a glistening black glow from within, captivating and strangely alluring.

He took another glance.

With her consciousness dissipated, never to awake, Wayne was clueless about her identity.

Considering it was the body of a Legendary Mage with imnse research value, he decided to collect it.

Elsewhere, the Church leader, having lost its host body, reverted to its original form.

It was a ntal entity ford by the wills of monsters from the Golden City, representing thirty thousand monsters, and also the brain of the Black Bird’s Nest.

It inhabited the female Elf’s shell, attracting the Golden Light Coffin with its tentacles, relying on strong Telekinesis to convert energy, borrowing the Sun Knight’s power.

Strictly speaking, it wasn’t borrowing but converting.

The dal protected Carter, resisting the invasion from the Golden City.

Every attack launched by the Golden City triggered a counterattack from the dal.

The Golden City saw it as a steady power source, converting the counterattacks into energy that could enhance the monsters’ Telekinesis.

Golden City: I’ve handed over both the body I inhabited and the Sun Knight’s power; it’s ti for you to fulfill your promise.

“Hee hee hee hee———”

Wayne laughed without a word, suddenly increasing the rate of corruption, wildly contaminating the Golden City, driving away the native monsters, and whitewashing this black nest to his own image.

The Golden City, enraged, accused Wayne of lacking integrity.

Wayne couldn’t care less, say what you will; it was, after all, a private deal with no third parties present, so it doesn’t count as dishonesty if no one knows about it.

Once he contaminated the entire Golden City, there was even less talk of broken trust among his own; it was just a joke.

The Golden City tried to contaminate back, but to little effect; it lost even more and, reluctantly, gave up the lost territory, splitting off to preserve itself.

Boom!

On the plain, the lying giant black flesh ball split open, with about a quarter of the black flesh landing and reassembling.

The shrunken ball sprouted eight tentacles and took cumberso steps back to the Black Mountain Range.

Staggering, shedding a slew of monsters with every step it took, the shrunken city could no longer accommodate too many residents; through selection, it cast aside the older portion.

The remaining three-quarters slowly changed color.

The white flesh ball propped up eight tentacles, with veins protruding on its pale exterior and the twisted face on top lting, then suddenly splitting open with a vertical line.
