475: Chapter 212: If I Don’t Give You a Kick, I Definitely Won’t Sleep Soundly Tonight 475: Chapter 212: If I Don’t Give You a Kick, I Definitely Won’t Sleep Soundly Tonight Night.

The fog was thin, the stars sparse.

Comrcial Street, Dawn Detective Agency.

The beam of a car’s headlights approached from a distance, penetrating the oppressive darkness before a black luxury sedan stopped in front of the detective agency.

gan got out of the driver’s seat, opened the rear door, and Austin, holding an ancient silver coin, stepped out, looking at the silent detective agency with an expressionless face.

“Mister, there’s a life form inside the detective agency that’s not a living creature,” gan said.

“”An Undead Knight’s creation, used to be a Lundan Police Officer nad Bo Philip…” Austin recounted the information at hand.

The Death Knight’s information was abundant, yet scarce, with the majority coming from Paris, whose notorious na was the nightmare of the Life Alliance.

In Lundan, the Death Knight kept a very low profile, only establishing one known stronghold, the widely recognized Dawn Detective Agency.

To be precise, there were five strongholds; all five major districts of Lundan had their own Dawn Detective Agency, complete with a dedicated law firm.

That night, the Death Knight made his intentions clear to several churches and the Magic Departnt: he ca to Lundan for only three things—fairness, fairness, and more damn fairness!

The people didn’t understand but chose to wait and see, and as they watched, the current situation unfolded.

Upon closer investigation, the Death Knight kept an exceptionally low profile; as long as he wasn’t provoked, he seed almost nonexistent, delivering Divine Decrees and ordering his followers to punish evil, promote good, and uphold justice.

At the Death Knight’s request, his followers refrained from using supernatural powers and abided by Windsor’s legal procedures to right wrongs, cutting through beliefs swiftly, earning high praise from the public.

This was limited to civilians, as those with connections in high society had many complaints about the Dawn Detective Agency; unable to defeat them, they could only step back and grow angrier the more they thought about it.

With the Death Knight’s arrival, his influence was limited and he never ddled in the circles of power, making his presence virtually insignificant.

As a result, the ruling elites of high society held the Death Knight in high regard; if all churches were as sensible as the Death Knight, the world would be at peace.

At least for the mont, that was the case.

Austin and gan stepped into the detective agency, and suddenly, the lights ca on.

Ah Bo turned on the overhead lights, frowning at the two unfamiliar guests: “Lundan has recently been troubled; who are you, whom do you serve, or are you devils?”

Ah Bo had received orders from Wayne—to await two important guests tonight and lead them directly to the Grand Cetery in the West District without any negligence.

Who the guests were and what their status was, Wayne didn’t say, and Ah Bo didn’t ask.

“I am Austin Lando, and this is my secretary.

I have co seeking an audience with the Death Knight,” Austin said, curiously examining Ah Bo, noting the Death Knight’s exquisite craftsmanship in forging an Undead Being with high intelligence and so degree of self-preservation.

Of course, he was very aware that Ah Bo was special, distinct from other Undead Beings; the term Magical Being was more appropriate to describe him.

This project had been studied by the Magic Departnt for a long ti but remained uncontrollable, with incredibly low yields.

“Austin Lando…”

Ah Bo’s mouth twitched; he recognized the na—the top dog of the Lundan police force, and most of the privileges he had enjoyed in life had likely been thanks to this na.

In other words, Austin had once paid Ah Bo’s salary.

Furthermore, the na Austin Lando held special significance for Ah Bo.

Recently, the Hell Familiar Marius had provoked the Death Knight in the Grand Cetery of the West District, resulting in Marius’s defeat and demise, with the Holy See’s battle nun Mona witnessing the entire event.

Upon being reminded by his colleague Ah Bin, Ah Bo learned that Mona was the secretary of his master, the Death Knight.

Coincidentally, right across the street from the Dawn Detective Agency was the Wayne Detective Agency, whose owner, Wayne, also had a secretary nad Mona.

What was even more coincidental was that both Monas, sharing the sa na, looked identical.

Ah Bo dared not ask nor speak of it, attributing everything to a miracle while simultaneously tightening control over the Dawn Detective Agency on Comrcial Street, strictly regulating employees and enhancing the company’s spiritual and cultural developnt.

In short, go to work diligently; do not chatter and cause noise all day long, creating disturbance for neighbors is not right.

Whether Wayne was the Death Knight or not, Ah Bo dared not speculate; he only knew that Wayne’s last na was Lando and that he was the heir to the Lando Family, his father being Austin.

The very Austin Lando standing before him.

“Is there a problem with my na?” Austin asked with a slight smile.

He knew what Ah Bo was thinking; as the top dog of the Lundan police force, he still wielded so influence.

To put it bluntly, the police force’s willingness to cooperate with the Dawn Detective Agency and arrest people based on provided evidence, was in part due to his efforts.

“It’s an honor to et you, Mister Lando,” Ah Bo said, taking off his gentleman’s hat and sincerely bowing to Austin, for in life or in death, this man was not soone he could afford to slight.

No wonder his master had ntioned an important guest!

But…

Putting his hat back on with a hint of hesitation, Ah Bo asked, “Mister Lando, you say you’ve co for my master, the Death Knight, to see him in person?”

“Yes,” Austin confird.

“…”

Is there a possibility, just a possibility, that you might et the Death Knight at ho?

Ah Bo looked perplexed, the light from overhead casting a shadow over his eyes, which Austin and gan did not notice.

“I know it’s difficult to et the Death Knight, but I have urgent reasons to do so, and I hope you can pass on a ssage for to see him tonight,” Austin added, “Rest assured, I am not like those devils; on the contrary, I co on behalf of Windsor to negotiate with the Death Knight on how to deal with this group of devils.”
