376: Chapter 179 Skeleton Forbidden Zone, The Forgotten Great Prison 376: Chapter 179 Skeleton Forbidden Zone, The Forgotten Great Prison Chris kept backing away, knowing she was in the wrong, her words flickering and failing to co up with an answer.
She’s the traitor!
It wasn’t until Wayne cornered her against the wall that she realized sothing was amiss, too close for comfort, even feeling the breath from across.
Chris raised her hand to push against Wayne’s chest, wanting to say sothing, but then she thought of the poor relationship between the two siblings, fearing they might make so irreparable mistake, and decided to sacrifice herself a bit.
The thought was nice, but the master of feigned courage always dares to think but not act, her hand against Wayne’s chest, freezing in place.
The female graduate student, no, the blushing postgraduate, looked away with trembling eyelashes, extrely adorable.
The highest form of seduction is purity.
Like Mona, the combat nun clad in white, or the current Chris, who is not Philona, free of any bets, Wayne couldn’t help but lower his head and bite her face.
Chris let out a soft moan, tightly gripping Wayne’s clothes, which puzzled him as he thought again, sothing was off with senior sister today.
Did Philona give her a task?
Wayne was speechless to the extre, thinking the Heavenly Father’s Court was outrageous enough, but the Moonlight Church had even fewer limits, and he lifted Chris into his arms, whispering into her ear, “Don’t be scared, I’m here with you, no one will hurt you.”
“Mhm.”
Chris nestled within Wayne’s embrace, warmth enveloping her, head spinning, wanting to sleep.
Wayne, with pity, patted her on the shoulder, “Don’t mind that woman, she’s too extre, just listen to her talk, believing everything will only harm you.”
Chris had no idea what Wayne was talking about, she was too comfortable to care, and sleepily nodded in agreent.
Five minutes later, she fell asleep in Wayne’s arms.
Wayne held her in his arms, looking out at the moon through the window, and was quite dissatisfied with Philona, “Look what you’ve done, you’ve scared Chris half to death.”
Wayne didn’t deny that he had the upper hand in the bet, but only when it ca to Philona, twins included, the more the rrier.
Chris didn’t have to be involved.
The senior sister was gentle and docile, never knowing how to refuse, only sharing happiness, never expressing negative emotions, the very definition of an honest person; Wayne couldn’t bear to bully her himself, let alone see her bullied by others.
“Enjoy playing this way, huh?
Wait and see, I’ll show you the ways of scumbags!”
Wayne narrowed his eyes, originally thinking the High Priest was pure and a good woman, but now, he saw she was conniving and ruthless, clearly a bad woman.
A bad woman deserves a bad man!
“I thought I could be the good guy with you, but the response was to ramp things up, no more pretending, I’m the bad guy, laid bare!” Wayne put Chris on the bed, tucked her in, and tiptoed away.
He went back to his room to rush the second piece of clothing.
A very modern set of black underwear, beyond his quick crafting abilities, so he sought Valkyrie’s help, gaining the finished product through thought-shaping.
The female knight was very old-fashioned, suspecting the Knight Apprentice of teasing her in the middle of the night.
Wayne took a long ti to explain, to little effect, the underwear didn’t lie, solidifying his reputation as a ‘bad student.’
Well, he had one more reason to retaliate against Philona.
…
The next day at noon, Wayne rushed to the manor, acting as a tour guide, accompanying Philona around Lundan’s famous sights.
Candlelit dinners, shopping on Comrcial Street, doing whatever couples do on dates.
Wayne turned into a charr, taking care of Philona attentively, who, with zero loves experience and having read many novels celebrating love, fancied herself capable, and was unwittingly toyed with by KFC, truly believing she had captivated Wayne and secured the bet.
At the evening date, Wayne, again playing the gentleman, politely and elegantly declined the benefits.
Distance creates beauty, ask again, and it’s a heartfelt pursuit for untainted, pure love.
Wayne: “I love your inner beauty, seeking a soulful connection, your looks don’t matter to .”
Philona, unfamiliar with such a UFO, was intoxicated with Wayne’s kiss on her fingertips and left her heart throbbing, tossing and turning that night, unable to sleep.
The High Priest valued honesty and, seeing Wayne’s genuine efforts, she prepared herself to act sincerely too.
In the following week, the two left their footsteps all over Lundan, with Philona giddy in a love rushing from both sides, and if it weren’t for the twins stepping on the brakes, she would have forgotten she was the High Priest of the Moonlight Church, on a mission in Lundan.
Philona: “It doesn’t affect ; isn’t this bet also for the Church?”

Ti circled around to November 17th, and Austin’s investigative team made a breakthrough.
Whether he took bribes or was intent on suppressing his political adversaries was uncertain, but following the leads at hand, the traitor went straight to the Wilson Family of the fourteen Tulip Families.
The fourteen Tulip Families were involved in various fields, but never abandoned their core values and pursuit of magic to benefit the family.
The Randao Family was like this, the Boswell Family likewise, and so was the Wilson Family.
The Wilson Family was dedicated to the political realm, with extensive connections; the current mbers lacked a Legendary Mage but had one Gold and several Silver, and with nurous Hexagrams and Magic Apprentices sponsored by them, they held a significant force within the Magic Departnt.
At least on paper, their power far exceeded that of the Randao Family.
According to Austin’s investigative team, the Dragon Blood Modification that went missing from the Magic Departnt and the magic tools for setting up barriers were not fully accounted for; following the clues, the Wilson Family’s involvent was unearthed.
