"Miss Philona last night was the sa. She too has her own desires. You love everyone equally, guiding us to face our desires and overco them, ultimately achieving self-redemption."

Hexuno had an epiphany. The Saint Heir appears devilish on the surface, but in truth walks in darkness with a heart of light, enlightening every desire-ridden soul struggling in the shadows.

Previously, she couldn’t understand. Her heart only saw the surface, which is why she misunderstood Wayne.

She should have realized long ago that whenever a true devil appeared, the Saint Heir would always stand on the front lines, continuously guiding everyone to confront their sins and triumph over them.

Wisdom, compassion, selflessness, sacrifice...

This is divinity!

"Is it possible that I’m just lustful and craving your bodies?"

"Absolutely impossible!"

"..."

What exactly have you co to understand? Your brain’s even worse than before!

Wayne was utterly frantic. Hexuno suddenly had a profound awakening, coupled with so overly upright misconceptions about him.

Misunderstandings aside, isn’t virtue just another type of play? The critical point was that Hexuno seed to transcend worldly desires entirely, feeling as though her wings were ready to soar.

"Lord Son of the Holy, through your guidance, I have already..."

"Hold up, don’t talk yet. Co sit down."

Wayne patted his lap, attempting to pull the newly enlightened Hexuno, who had ascended a whole realm in purity, back down to earth.

Hexuno, with a faint smile, sat on Wayne’s lap calmly and righteously. This act of leaning on a whip—a sowhat questionable and suggestive posture—was transford by her into sothing sacred in appearance.

Wayne: (一`´一)

Without saying a word, he grabbed the Archangel by the waist and rushed quickly upstairs.

...

Scene change—back in the living room, the twins served black tea and snacks with increasingly disdainful expressions.

"So, have you figured it out yet?" Wayne asked smugly.

"..."

Hexuno sat across from Wayne, utterly dumbstruck. She wanted to regain her composure, but her smile felt a bit forced.

Taking a deep breath, she replied, "I understand now. I still care. I haven’t let go yet. I still need to endure more trials."

"Don’t think so deeply; just look at the surface. Seriously, I’m just lusting after your bodies."

Wayne retorted sarcastically, "By your logic, both Pride and the Pope could be the Saint Heir—they’re the root of all evil and have certainly given you more trials."

"They are not the Saint Heir!"

Hexuno slightly shook her head, reasoning thodically, "Resurrected from the dead, neither human nor god—a God of the Mortal Realm—in Lundan, you are the Saint Heir."

"First of all, I’m not the Saint Heir!"

"Secondly, even if I were the Saint Heir, I’d be the kind that’s lusting after your body. You’re deducing process through outco, disregarding actual facts and evidence, solely using imagination to twist reality—that’s wrong."

Wayne spread his hands and spoke earnestly, "Hexuno, I’m truly not the Saint Heir. Think it through seriously: which part of aligns with the Seven Virtues?"

"Uh..."

Hexuno averted her gaze, hesitating weakly, "The current Seven Virtues fit you perfectly; you seem to embody all of them."

Well, that’s sothing—the Seven Virtues have practically turned into the Seven Deadly Sins now!

Wayne ridiculed internally. Waving dismissively, he said, "Let’s cut to the chase. I guessed you mistook for the Saint Heir but didn’t clarify because there was so benefit to that. Now that it’s serious, the Saint Heir is crucial, and we can’t let the Demon King succeed. I’m willing to help you search for them."

"Lord Son of the Holy, you match all the Saint Heir’s traits—why are you unwilling to acknowledge your identity?"

Once Hexuno finished, an epiphany dawned on her: "I get it now. You still need to redeem Uriel and the others. Assuming the Saint Heir’s identity wouldn’t allow you to achieve true salvation. You must interact with them as a regular person."

"Ah, right, right, well said. Next ti, don’t blurt it out."

Wayne looked utterly exasperated. Turning toward Heya, he pointed at himself and asked, "Heya, do you believe I’m the Saint Heir?"

"If it’s Archangel you, then yes! I fully believe you’re the Saint Heir!" Heya nodded vigorously.

"..."

Wrong person to ask—this one’s even more clueless.

Wayne sighed deeply, waving Hexuno over to lean on the whip again: "Honestly, about the Saint Heir’s four traits, I happened to et them all due to certain accidents—they don’t count. I’m very clear about what kind of person I am; I’m like a streetlight ornant—you get the picture? Heaven wouldn’t summon soone like unless it destroyed the world in a past life."

"Does destroying Hell count?" Heya interjected.

"Shut up!"

Wayne shot Heya a glare, replying grimly, "I overheard your conversation yesterday. Lar is a traitor, leaking clues about the Saint Heir to Pride. It’s hard to say whether the clues you received are genuine. If Lar deliberately lied, fake clues won’t lead you to the real Saint Heir."

"Lord Son of the Holy, I don’t know whether you’re intentionally deceiving or failing to recognize yourself."

Hexuno said solemnly, "If it’s deceit, you must have unavoidable reasons, perhaps intending to redeem more people—I’m willing to play along."

"If it’s failure to recognize yourself, I hope you’ll awaken promptly."

"Please consider yourself carefully!"

"Setting aside whether the Saint Heir’s prophetic traits are accurate, you’re clearly not an ordinary person. Your enemies have ranged from the Thousand-Eyed Demon to the Blood Tyrant, elevating to Envy and Pride. You’ve consistently fought for the Mortal World and Heaven. Is there anyone on the God-chosen Continent who resembles the Saint Heir more than you?"

Holy crap, this woman makes a compelling argunt!

Wayne’s eyes widened—yeah, not only did he fit all the criteria, but he’d also been relentlessly clashing with devils, thwarting one attempt after another to bring their darkness to mortal realms.

Without him, devils wouldn’t have all failed; at the very least, three to five would’ve succeeded.

"Could I truly be the Saint Heir?"

Wayne stared at himself in disbelief, turning to Hexuno and Heya, both of whom gave emphatic nods.

No way. These two look at people through inappropriately tinted lenses—if you believe them, even a devil could be the Saint Heir.
