“Not yet…”
During the conversation, the two crossed over a hundred stone steps, leaving viscous footprints mixed with black mud and filth behind them.
As they drew closer to the Dark Castle, the pressure on them intensified, and the divine will of Heaven was severely suppressed here.
With the bad cos the good; Dierda’s awakening sped up considerably, just shy of a hint that would help her recall her true na in Heaven.
A gloomy wind swept past, making the Hellfires on the columns roar.
Heya’s heart tightened, slling the scent of a devil; the Heaven Holy Spear was held horizontally in front of her, her eyes blazing with intense golden light.
“Such a familiar scent, we must have t before…”
A figure in a Black Robe erged from the castle gates, moving like a phantom, unpredictable, stepping over a hundred steps in one stride.
He hovered above Heya and Dierda, looking down with glee, and exclaid, “Two Reincarnated Angels, daring to intrude into the Abyss’ projection, you’ve got guts!”
“You are…”
Heya sized up the figure, feeling the heavy scent of sin, and slowly said, “Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath!”
“We do know each other…”
The robes on the shadow transford into flas and burned away, revealing a fierce and wild body filled with savagery.
Wrath stood three ters tall, his strong body shaped like an inverted triangle; even covered in black fur, the clear lines of his muscles were visible.
His eyes flickered red, his mouth full of sharp fangs, his ears long and slender, and his limbs strong, with sharp claws.
The Werewolf.
Wolves are one of the symbols of Wrath, usually, the Lord of Wrath appears as a Giant Dragon.
A Giant Dragon naturally has an aura of power; wolves, on the other hand, give more of a henchman vibe, not looking much like leaders.
Here’s a sidenote, the God-chosen Continent once had vampires and werewolves, who were the minions of Pride and Wrath in the Mortal World.
After Hell was sealed by Heaven, the Holy See purged Hell’s remnants in the Mortal World, eradicating these hellish creatures.
In later tis, ntions of werewolves and vampires only appeared in knight novels, influenced by authors’ subjective views, portraying vampires and werewolves in various images and stances.
In serious works, werewolves and vampires are antagonists; in less serious ones, they’re busy romancing their food.
Werewolf, Vampires: “Brother/beauty, you sll so good!”
The Lord of Wrath did not recognize Heya imdiately, who slightly frowned and announced her na in Heaven: “Seraph, Frey.”
There are ranks and hierarchies in the Mortal World, and also in Heaven.
The top being in Heaven is the Heavenly Father, everyone calls him father, without him, there would be no Heaven; his position is unshakable.
Next, all angels are divided into three ranks.
Upper angels such as Seraphs, Thrones; middle angels are Dominions, Virtues, Powers; lower angels include Principalities, regular Archangels, Angels.
The four Archangels are also called Great Archangels, all being Seraphs, the first rank among upper angels, only below the Heavenly Father.
Heya/Frey, as a Seraph, also belongs to the first tier of angels, holding a high rank.
Clergy entering the Kingdom of Heaven are generally arranged to be Archangels, those with connections beco Principalities.
Only those with exceptional gifts ascend rapidly, becoming Virtues among middle angels.
As for regular angels, they are mass-produced beings, either becoming cannon fodder in the Angel Legion or serving the upper angels, without wings.
“Oh, it’s you, I sowhat rember now.”
The vicious wolf’s eyes flickered with brutal blood light: “Reincarnated angels, what are you doing in the Mortal World?”
“To eliminate you!!”
Heya’s wings unfurled, the Heaven Holy Spear emitting dazzling golden light, without much conversation she went straight into action.
There’s not much to talk about, nor much to ask, over the years, devils have co to the Mortal World for various reasons – seeking fun, for love, angels can think of any reason, devils can fabricate it, and even for things angels cannot imagine, devils can still fabricate reasons.
Ultimately, devils just want to open the Hell Gate and turn the Mortal World into a second Hell!
“Nice montum…”
Wrath’s hands sprouted sharp claws, deflecting the Holy Spear aiming straight at his face with one hand, the clash of the Seven Deadly Sins and the Golden Rule forced both figures to retreat.
Heya’s body sparkled, dissipating the raging power surging towards her, gripping the Holy Spear and launching another charge.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The two figures clashed chaotically, unknowingly exchanging hundreds of blows, the wild energy gradually spiraling out of control, roaring and cleansing in all directions.
A beam of golden light shot toward the Dark Castle, accompanied by a loud dragon roar那个, the tallic Dragon sped up, circling high above the castle.
The Dragon unleashed a Column of Fierce Flas, aiming directly at the Dark Castle, the light beam hitting the ground, touching the black Defense Shield, causing boundless ripples to spread rapidly.
Indeed, it was there!
Heya speculated that the Hell Gate was hidden in the palace, commanding the dragon to bombard wildly, while she herself faced off against Wrath to prevent him from providing assistance.
This was a sure win!
After another hundred exchanges, Heya, with much of her energy depleted, sensed the palace’s defenses were critically unstable, like a candle flickering in the wind, about to extinguish under the Dragon Breathbeit, ntally noting it was worth it.
However, she quickly noticed sothing was off.
Wrath was unhurried, and up to now, had not shown any rage…not wrathful at all.
Boom!!
Above the castle, the black Defense Shield completely collapsed, the dragon lood high, the terrifying energy in its mouth causing the space to crackle and explode.
Heya blinked, blocking the werewolf who was about to move, coldly stating, “If you want to go past, defeat first.”
