Mythical Era: I Evolved Into A Stellar-Level Beast Chapter 819: 356: The Rampaging Giant, Super Electromagnetic
Chapter 819: Chapter 356: The Rampaging Giant, Super Electromagnetic Gun
Mists layered the heavens, while mountain ranges that spanned tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand kiloters undulated across the Earth. Between these mountain plains, rivers of over ten to hundreds of kiloters crisscrossed.
Along these rivers’ edges, massive hordes of Unique Beasts could occasionally be seen sprinting, emitting lofty and robust roars that filled the air with a wild and desolate aura.
At the foot of a ten thousand ter mountain peak, colossal trees hundreds of ters tall stood erect, with rough, sturdy bark as tough as steel and lush foliage interwoven to obscure the sky.
Within these forests, ape-like creatures standing over ten ters tall with horns atop their heads made their hos, their joyous leaps spanning dozens to hundreds of ters, their mouths emitting fierce cries.
Laden upon these towering trees were fruits the size of one ter, the primary sustenance of these black Scaled-Horn Apes.
Yet just as these Scaled-Horn Apes were frolicking, a fifty-plus ter long python cloaked in greyish-black scale-covered silently approached from the shadowy forest.
However, the very mont the horned python closed in, a vigilant old ape suddenly began beating its chest, issuing a piercing howl.
Roar, roar, roar!
In an instant, the entire forest shook as one ape after another rushed to the treetops, roaring furiously at the hissing python coiled around a distant tree.
Dozens of mature Scaled-Horn Apes grasped grey fruits, black energy swirling around their claws, which transford the fruits into dark, steel-like objects in the blink of an eye.
Boom, boom, boom! Enraged, these muscular-ard apes hurled dozens of steel fruit cannonballs, blasting through the air and pelting the giant python.
Hiss, hiss! The python’s body shimred with grey energy, instantly dodging like a shadowy apparition, like a grey light streaking past tree trunks.
All at once, every enormous tree trembled as the black iron fruit bombs exploded against them, shattering bark and making an astonishing racket.
Woo!
Horrific screams echoed from a large tree hundreds of ters away; an upper half of a Scaled-Horn Ape was crushed by the giant python’s bite, blood splattered wildly, and it was dragged away into the dark crisscrossing branches in an instant.
Roar, roar, roar! The eyes of the Scaled-Horn Apes reddened with fright and rage as countless steel fruits crazily smashed toward that area.
The tumultuous battle in the woods resonated far, causing agitation among the large Unique Beasts dwelling outside the forest.
On the vast plains outside the fruit tree forest, a common weed stood over ten ters tall, swaying in the wind with broad, fleshy leaves bursting with verdancy.
At the edge, dozens of Unique Beasts resembling cattle, about twenty ters long and over ten ters tall, covered in thick scales, lowered their heads to graze.
Nourished by the abundant Heavenly Energy, these common weeds were rich in nutrients, enough to sustain the day-to-day needs of these large beasts.
Amidst this forest-like expanse of lush weeds, there occasionally passed serpents of over ten to twenty ters in length, rustling with a susurrus sound.
Suddenly, the distant weeds shuddered wildly, followed by a howl of agony that quickly subsided, leaving only the faint scent of blood in the air.
Whoo!
A giant shadow descended from the sky, carried by howling winds, and the Unique Beasts peacefully feeding below roared, recoiling their massive bodies.
A forceful energy burst from the beasts, mutually amplifying to imdiately sink the earth within a radius of hundreds of ters, solidifying the air, creating a gravity zone.
But their speed was still too slow. An eighty-ter wing-spanned Unique Beast plumted from the sky at several tis supersonic speed and snatched a ten-ter long Armored Beast, soaring into the heavens.
Thud!
Between the powerful double claws of this Level 7 Alien Beast, the Level 4 Armored Beast let out a scream, its body torn in two, as its blood rained down from above.
Roar!
On a hillside a thousand ters away, a sixty-ter long Level 7 Colossus bellowed, emitting a beam of golden light from its mouth towards the sky.
Peew!
The flying Giant Beast shrieked sharply, its wings flickering like lightning to dodge the breath weapon, vanishing into the depths of the clouds, leaving the Colossus to roar continuously.
For the Giant Beast had invaded its territory.
A few kiloters away, atop a small mountain only a couple of thousand ters high, Jack Clark watched the scene with an unperturbed gaze.
Such is the mythical world where everything appears imnse, and over long cycles of proliferation, has developed a stable ecosystem—primitive and bloody.
Like on Blue Star, the ordinary Unique Beasts here are prey for those giants; only those Level 7 Alien Beasts have the right to claim a portion of the territory.
However, both these giants are rely in the latter stages of Level 7, lacking Life Crystals within them which prompted Jack Clark to divert his attention toward a spot twenty-odd kiloters away.
On the other side of the mountain ranges, a hundred and twenty ters long Giant Lizard, which had awakened a trace of the Dragon Bloodline, lay in hibernation on the mountainside.
This Colossus was covered in black and blue intermingled scale armor, its presence exuding the formidable aura of a Level 8 Peak Giant Beast, deterring those around it.
This was the second Level 8 Peak Giant Beast Jack Clark had encountered.
After departing from the Seventh Legion Garrison and traveling five thousand kiloters beyond the outer circle, he flew another six thousand kiloters southward, avoiding several dangerous areas.
So far, though, he had encountered only two Level 8 Peak Giant Beasts.
As for Level 9 Peak beings that have touched the threshold of myth, even in the mythical world, they are scarce, especially in this region, previously scoured by Human Experts.
Moreover, Jack Clark had rely been flying in a straight line, not conducting a carpet-style search covering a few hundred to a thousand kiloters in breadth.
Observing the imnse beast, Jack Clark’s nearly four-ter long Eight Desolate Battle Halberd hovered in front of him. Blue Thunder streaked between his hands, swirling around and emitting a terrifying aura of destruction.
