Chapter 646: Chapter 219 Lies

On the ground of the Underworld, Hades’s figure was rapidly flickering.

The sky seed to tilt for a mont, stars fell to the Mortal Realm. And he was trying to move far from the impact’s center point, and stabilize the Underworld Land as much as possible with his power.

That is to say, the sky of the Underworld is not the real sky, it doesn’t need tools to prop it up. Otherwise, the destruction caused by Zeus’s fall would not be limited to the Fields of Truth.

Whoosh—

The ‘Fallen Star’ swept through the air, only holding stiff for a short while before the ‘Celestial Body’ continued to sink.

Black flas wrapped around the ‘teor,’ and the hellfire burned relentlessly on Zeus’s body.

That was one of the signs of Hell, the fla brought from the divided Muspelheim by the Nine Hells, and the darkness inherent in Silver Humanity, which together gave the fla a tendency, constituting the Demon Fire unique to Hell. Of course, despite their impressive origins, this didn’t an that the flas could scorch Zeus.

For Zeus, the flas burning on his body actually couldn’t harm him; in fact, they could only prove that he was indeed too preoccupied to care.

“Ugh—rise!”

Pushing up with his hands, Zeus raised his head, his eyes flashing with Thunder Fire locked gazes with the colossal serpent in the sky.

Only this Great Serpent, indeed, he had been tricked, but at least he had been partially successful.

The Lord of the Nine Hells, who had taken his direct hit, was definitely not feeling good; the fact that the other party was not pursuing their victory was proof. Now, if he could just block this terrible creature’s one strike, then he still had a chance to turn the situation around…

Yes, monster. In Zeus’s eyes, the Serpent of the Central Court was undoubtedly like the Titans and Typhon, beings that did not belong to the Deity system, also demons not recognized by most gods.

“Ugh… Rise, for , rise!”

Giving his all, under Zeus’s widened eyes, his falling speed seed indeed not to be increasing as rapidly.

When leaving the Abyss, and returning to the domain of the living realm, his strength grew at an extrely fast pace. If he had enough ti, he could completely block this strike.

However, the next mont, Zeus beca desperately aware that he probably didn’t have that much ti, because although his falling speed had slowed down, the distance between the heavens and earth of the Underworld was far smaller than that of the surface above.

He couldn’t wait to recover his full power, and the ground was already within reach. Even faintly, Zeus felt like his lower body was about to co into contact with sothing hard and sharp, that tallic sharpness so distinct.

But this was probably an illusion, right? There were no enemies in the Underworld, nor did he sense the presence of other deities below him. Ruling out the possibility that soone was preparing to backstab him with a weapon from beneath, it couldn’t be that the geology of the Underworld had changed… huh?

In his unstoppable descent, Zeus’s face changed abruptly. Pain transmitted from below as flesh and tal collided—Since when had the ground and palace of the Underworld beco so hard??!

Ssst—!

In an instant, blood splattered.

Zeus, who was doing his utmost to battle the Great Serpent, had never anticipated another ‘backstab’ from below; the sharp edges of Hades Palace were like blades, stabbing viciously into him under the force of his own fall.

His face contorted in an instant, if this were a normal ti, these buildings, although solid, wouldn’t be able to affect Zeus’s Divine Body; if he had even the slightest reserve of power left, an instinctive defense wouldn’t have allowed him to be injured so easily; and even if the owner of these palaces wasn’t the Lord of Underworld, and Hades hadn’t gathered strength to stabilize the land of the Underworld, their most probable fate would have been to be blown further down by the impact, buried under dust in the ruins.

But reality knows no ‘ifs,’ and the Divine King wouldn’t dare allow Zeus to crash unrestrained into the bottom layer of the Underworld. So standing in the distance, watching the trajectory of Zeus’s fall, Hades hesitated only for a mont before continuing to maintain the tenacity of the strata.

Well, Zeus was just having a hard ti, especially since he ca to the Underworld unannounced. Anyhow, this was much better than the Underworld Land suffering damage and him suffering from the backlash.

Consequently, when the land was reinforced by the entire strength of the Underworld, the previously continuous buildings beca like ore caught between an iron blanket and hamr, bound to either lt away or shatter the forces smashing against it.

And the outco of this ti… naturally was that all three bore varying degrees of damage.

Boom——!

The world stood still for a mont, followed by a trendous quake echoing through the Void, accompanied by the Divine King’s roar resounding beneath the sky of the Underworld.

“Ah—Hades??!”

A single impact turned most of the Fields of Truth into a basin.

The previously continuous buildings had turned into nothingness, but Zeus, the cause of it all, was no better off.

Although gods can regenerate flesh and blood, it still requires a bit of ti—at least Zeus, caught by surprise, didn’t have the chance to reshape the missing half of his body.

So at this mont, a large amount of specially casted Divine tal was interspersed in his flesh; these materials, with strength nearly akin to Divine Artifacts, were not that easily worn away. Yet Zeus couldn’t understand why Hades would spend so much just to build a palace; what was his purpose?

It couldn’t possibly be that Hades had hidden Prophecy abilities, knew he would be injured here today, and had deliberately constructed such a structure for that purpose? That joke wasn’t funny at all!
