Xue Tianfeng stopped before the teahouse, his gaze flickering with caution. He took a deep breath, then stepped forward, bowing deeply.

"Esteed Senior," he said, his voice respectful. "This lowly one is Xue Tianfeng, Sect Master of the Blood Fire Sect. I've co to apologize for my subordinate's rudeness earlier."

Yun Lintian didn't even glance at him. Instead, his eyes drifted toward the empty space above the city.

"Still hiding?" he said casually. "Co out."

The crowd froze.

Who was he talking to?

Then—

A ripple tore through the void, and a figure stepped out.

A young, handso man with long crimson hair and piercing golden eyes. His presence alone made the air tremble, as if the world itself couldn't bear his weight.

Gasps erupted.

"The Blood Fire Ancestor!"

"A True God!"

The Blood Fire Ancestor rarely appeared in public. Even among the many True Gods in the Central Divine Region, he was one of the strongest. Yet now, he stood in the open, his expression stiff.

Yun Lintian finally looked at him—then waved his hand.

"Co here."

Suddenly, a terrifying force wrapped around the Blood Fire Ancestor, dragging him forward like a chicken being plucked from the ground. The True God's eyes widened in shock as he struggled—but no matter how much divine energy he unleashed, he couldn't break free.

"Impossible!" he snarled, his face twisting in fury.

The crowd was petrified. Even the seven hidden figures watching from the shadows felt their hearts shudder.

A True God was actually… utterly powerless!

Yun Lintian flicked his fingers, and the Blood Fire Ancestor was forced into a seat across from him. The man's golden eyes burned with humiliation, but he couldn't move an inch.

Yun Lintian poured him a cup of tea.

"Drink," he said.

The Blood Fire Ancestor's hands moved against his will, lifting the cup to his lips. His fingers trembled—not from fear, but from sheer rage at being controlled like a puppet.

Yun Lintian ignored his fury and asked calmly, "Do you know about the inheritors of the Primordial Gods?"

The True God's lips twitched. "You—!"

Yun Lintian's gaze sharpened slightly.

CRACKLE!

A crushing pressure descended, making the Blood Fire Ancestor's bones creak. His face paled, and for the first ti, a flicker of fear flashed in his eyes.

"I—I don't know much," he finally gritted out.

Yun Lintian sighed. "Then why did you co here? To loose your bones?"

He released his grip, and the Blood Fire Ancestor slumped in his seat, panting. The man's pride had been shattered in front of the entire city.

The seven hidden figures exchanged horrified glances.

"He subdued a True God like it was nothing!"

"This man… he's not just a True God. He's sothing beyond!"

The delicate girl with the lotus flower swallowed hard. "We must not provoke him."

The scarred brute, who had been eager to fight earlier, now looked ashen. "Agreed."

anwhile, Yun Lintian turned his attention back to his tea, as if the entire ordeal had been nothing more than a minor distraction.

Qingqing giggled. "Big Brother Yun, you made him look so silly!"

Linlin smirked. "True Gods aren't so tough after all."

Yun Lintian chuckled. "They're just people who've lived a little longer."

The Blood Fire Ancestor's face darkened, but he didn't dare speak.

Just then—

A soft voice echoed from the crowd.

"Senior… if you seek the inheritors of the Primordial Gods, I may have information."

All eyes turned toward the speaker.

A young woman in plain robes stepped forward, her eyes clear and unafraid.

Yun Lintian's gaze settled on her.

"Oh?"

The girl took a deep breath.

"The Moon God's last inheritor… is in the Northern Wastes."

A slow smile curled Yun Lintian's lips.

"Interesting."

He looked at the girl and asked. "Care to introduce yourself?"

The plain-robed girl took a deep breath and bowed. "This lowly one is Yue Zhihe, maidservant to the inheritor of the Moon God."

Her words sent ripples through the crowd.

"The Moon God's inheritor!"

"I thought all Primordial God inheritors perished in the ancient wars!"

The Blood Fire Ancestor's golden eyes flashed with undisguised greed. The Moon God's legacy—even a fragnt would elevate him beyond his current realm.

Yun Lintian studied Yue Zhihe with interest. "Why would you reveal your master's whereabouts to a stranger? Are you betraying them?"

Yue Zhihe's hands trembled slightly. "No, Senior! My master... my master is dying. She instructed to find you."

This revelation made even Qingqing and Linlin pause mid-bite.

Yun Lintian's eyes narrowed. "I just arrived in this city. How does your master know ?"

The maidservant shook her head. "This one doesn't know. Master only said... 'When you see the man who makes True Gods kneel, bring him to .'"

A heavy silence fell over the teahouse.

Yun Lintian stood abruptly, causing his chair to vanish into mist. Qingqing and Linlin imdiately hopped onto his shoulders.

"Lead the way."

They imdiately disappeared from everyone's sight.

"Ancestor." Xue Tianfeng hurriedly ca over to help his master.

The Blood Fire Ancestor snorted angrily. He had never been humiliated like this before in his lifeti. Unfortunately, he couldn't even muster strength to fight back at Yun Lintian.

"Kill everyone—"

BOOM!

Before he could finish, his body erupted into crimson flas. His flesh lted like wax, his bones turning to ash in seconds. The terrifying True God beca a human-shaped inferno, his dying screams echoing through the square.

Yun Lintian's voice suddenly drifted through the chaos.

"Worthy of being called the Blood Fire Sect. Even your blood turns to fire."

The crowd watched in horror as one of the Central Region's strongest gods died without even a chance to resist. The seven hidden figures trembled—they hadn't even seen Yun Lintian move!

Xue Tianfeng rushed forward. "Ancestor!"

The dying flas spat out a final ember that struck the sect master's chest. He collapsed, his body beginning to smolder.

By the ti Yun Lintian and Yue Zhihe vanished, nothing remained of the Blood Fire Ancestor but a charred silhouette on the stones…

The icy winds howled around a crystalline palace that shimred like frozen moonlight. Yue Zhihe led Yun Lintian through corridors of living ice that reflected countless distorted images.

"Master has waited many years for this day," the maidservant whispered.

Qingqing shivered. "Big Brother Yun, this place feels... sad."

Linlin's ears flattened. "Like sothing precious is fading."

They entered a circular chamber where a woman lay on an ice bier. Her silver hair spread around her like a frozen waterfall, her face pale as the moon itself. The mont Yun Lintian saw her, his breath caught.

Not because of her beauty—but because she looked similar to Lin Xinyao.

The woman's eyes fluttered open, revealing pupils like crescent moons. When she spoke, her voice echoed with dual tones—one young, one ancient:

"At last... the man who walks between tilines."
