BANG! BANG!

Yun Lintian and the man were both thrown backward by the force of the blast, their bodies slamming into the icy ground. They slowly got to their feet and stared at each other.

"Lintian," Yun Qianxue and the others said as they quickly arrived beside Yun Lintian.

"I'm fine," Yun Lintian said, letting out a long breath and turning to look at the man. "It seems you failed."

The man chuckled, a dry, humorless sound. He straightened up, brushing off the remnants of ice that clung to his dark robes. The black sword, still clutched in his hand, no longer pulsed with dark energy. It was quiet, almost docile.

He looked around at the shattered remnants of his once formidable domain, a faint flicker of disappointnt in his eyes.

"Indeed," he said, his voice calm and even. "I underestimated you, Yun Lintian. Your strength… it surprised . I would like to fight you again," he continued, "in a better environnt, one where we are both unrestrained, where we can truly test our limits."

He took a deep breath, his expression becoming serious. "Rember this na, Yun Lintian. I am Kai Xuan, the First Chaos Knight, under the Lord of Chaos."

A ripple of shock went through Yun Qianxue and the others. This was the first Chaos Knight they had ever t since Yun Lintian told them about their existence. They could feel the gap in power between them.

Yun Qianxue and the others instinctively moved to intercept Kai Xuan, sensing the danger he represented. But Yun Lintian raised his hand, stopping them.

"Don't," he said, his voice low but firm. "It's impossible to stop him from leaving. Besides…" He trailed off, a thoughtful expression on his face.

He knew that even if they combined their strength, they wouldn't be able to stop Kai Xuan. The man was on a different level, a level that transcended re numbers. He could feel it, the raw power that radiated from Kai Xuan, an aura similar to the regents of the six kingdoms or even stronger.

Kai Xuan nodded, acknowledging Yun Lintian's understanding. He turned to leave, his movents smooth and effortless, as if he were simply taking a stroll. He didn't even bother to open a spatial tear or use any other technique to depart. He simply walked, his figure fading into the shattered remnants of the domain, disappearing as if he had never been there at all.

Qingqing tilted her head to look at Yun Lintian and asked, "Why did you let him go, Big Brother Yun? He's very dangerous."

Yun Lintian sighed. "I know. But trying to stop him would have been futile. He's… different. He's not like the other opponents we've faced. If I wanted to stop him here, I would have to go all out, and it wouldn't be good for us. After all, we are inside enemy territory right now." He paused for a mont and took a deep look at the position where Kai Xuan left. "He's right. We need to fight again, but not here, not in a confined space. We need a battlefield where we can unleash our full power, where we can truly test each other."

It was the first ti Yun Lintian had t his match since he stepped into the True God Realm. This person represented a similar threat to Fan Shen and Yao Huang. The First Chaos Knight was indeed living up to his na.

Yun Lintian looked at Yun Qianxue and said, "I need to take a rest for a bit. The environnt here isn't suitable for recovery."

He waved his hand, creating a concealnt formation before summoning the Gate of Beyond Heaven and walking in. Yun Qianxue and the others quickly followed.

Kai Xuan appeared before the tunnel located at the heart of the Ancient Battlefield.

Tang Zhen looked at him and asked with a playful smile, "How is it? He's stronger than you thought, right?"

Kai Xuan glanced at him and said, "You better shut your mouth."

"Why?" Tang Zhen didn't seem to care. "Do you feel ashad that you underestimated him? Hehe."

Kai Xuan's aura surged, and the entire space trembled violently. On the side, Dian Lun quickly intervened.

"Calm down," he said. "This is not the place to fight." He turned to look at Tang Zhen.

"You shouldn't have teased him," he continued. "There's nothing wrong with the result. Yun Lintian isn't soone anyone can judge with common sense. Even now, we still have no idea about his true depth. His strength is bizarre. I'm afraid only our lord can understand it."

Kai Xuan stared at Tang Zhen for a mont and retracted his aura. He looked at Dian Lun and said, "You won't be able to hold him for long. You better speed up."

"I know," Dian Lun nodded slightly. "We have already found the location."

Kai Xuan took a deep look at Tang Zhen and vanished into the tunnel.

"Heh. Does he think he can do anything just because he's the First Chaos Knight?" Tang Zhen sneered with dissatisfaction.

"Why don't you try to beat him?" Dian Lun rolled his eyes.

Tang Zhen spread his arms. "Of course, I can't."

Dian Lun shook his head and paid no attention to him. At this mont, a woman slowly erged from the tunnel. She was none other than the Endless Snow Empress, Xue Muyao.

Dian Lun was surprised to see her. "Why are you here?"

Xue Muyao glanced around briefly and said, "The Lord of Chaos sent here. He said that you need my help."

Dian Lun and Tang Zhen exchanged surprised glances.

"Well, we do need so help," Dian Lun said slowly. "Yun Lintian is coming. Try to delay him as much as you can."

Xue Muyao's eyes flickered slightly. She had naturally heard about Yun Lintian before coming here. She was surprised that soone could actually subdue the Chaos Knights and that they needed soone like her to intervene.

Dian Lun seed to see through her thoughts and said, "You should be careful. Yun Lintian isn't soone to be trifled with. I don't mind telling you that even Kai Xuan, the First Chaos Knight, cannot defeat him."

Xue Muyao was surprised to hear this. She thought for a mont and said, "Understood."

Dian Lun didn't say anything further and told her about Yun Lintian's location. Xue Muyao took a step forward and disappeared from the place.

"What on earth is our lord thinking?" Tang Zhen asked, filled with doubt.

Dian Lun's expression turned cold as he spoke, "You better shut up."

Tang Zhen pursed his lips and said nothing more.
