As Jaxyn approached the boss monster, sothing completely unexpected happened. He was slamd into the dungeon wall with a loud thud by an unseen force that struck him like a freight train.

He crumpled to the ground, dust and debris falling all around him.

"Jaxyn!" Declan's eyes widened in surprise as his voice broke the stillness. He quickly got to his feet and rushed over. "Are you alright?"

Jaxyn groaned, slowly pushing himself up. "Y-yeah... I'm alright," he stamred, holding his side as he struggled to stand. He winced, trying to look tough but obviously shaken.

For a mont, Arvian stood motionless, his thoughts racing. 'Jaxyn didn't even get close to the boss before being thrown back but I noticed before Jaxyn was pushed the boss' eyes glowed. It must have summoned so kind of barrier with its eyes ... there's no way we can fight it up close. We'll need to attack from a distance... maybe... the chains!'

With a steady voice in spite of his racing heart, Arvian turned to Jaxyn. "Jaxyn, we can't fight it in close range. That thing has a shield or so kind of defence we can't break. We'll have to use magic or other tactics."

Declan watched calmly as he leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. "You two take it down. If the situation gets ssy, I'll step in," he said casually as if they weren't facing a life-or-death situation.

Arvian tightened his grip on the chain, his hands trembling slightly from the tension. "Jaxyn! I'll use the chain to distract the boss. Attack it from behind and don't stop, no matter what!"

Jaxyn smirked, brushing the dirt off his coat. "Just do it already," he said in his usual carefree tone, though his eyes glead with focus.

'Arvian's mind raced. The ankle? No, not this ti... it's too strong there. The neck... that's the weak spot. He steadied himself, summoning every ounce of focus.

The chain glowed dimly as half of it disappeared and then reappeared behind the boss's enormous neck. With a sudden motion, Arvian made the chain coil tightly around it.

The entire dungeon was shaken by the boss's raging, guttural growl. It thrashed violently, trying to break free with its thick hands clawing at the chain.

"Not happening!" With a grunt, Arvian pulled the chain tighter with all his strength. Even though his muscles were burning, he held on. "Jaxyn, now!"

Jaxyn had the ideal opportunity when the boss beca preoccupied and struggling.

With a laser-like focus, Jaxyn ran toward the boss, whose voice reverberated throughout the dungeon. "Wooden Style: Prison Spell!"

The boss was suddenly surrounded by a circular cage made of enormous wooden poles that rose from the ground. The structure closed tightly, trapping the monster completely.

Without wasting any ti, Jaxyn put his hands together. "Dragon Style: Fire Form 1!" he shouted. The wooden poles ignited with blazing flas, their heat growing intense. The fire spread quickly through the interconnected poles, creating a massive furnace around the boss.

The boss let out an agonizing roar, its body engulfed in flas. It thrashed violently, shaking the entire dungeon as it struggled to break free.

Arvian, anwhile, was being pulled about like a rag doll while he held on to the chain that was around the boss's neck. "Damn it! Stay still!" he shouted, gripping the chain as tightly as he could. His arms burned with effort, but he refused to let go.

"Grrraaaaaahhhhhhh!" Arvian roared, pushing chain with all of his strength. The boss stumbled and slowed under the constant attack of the flas and the tightening chain.

Suddenly, the resistance on the chain stopped. Arvian stumbled backwards, almost falling, as the chain loosened. The boss's head, severed cleanly, fell with a thunderous crash. Soon after, the roaring flas subsided and the dungeon beca uncannily quiet as its body collapsed.

With his heart still racing, Arvian gasped and turned to face Jaxyn.

"We.... we did it."

Jaxyn wiped the perspiration from his brow and smiled. "It was interesting fight."

All of a sudden, the screen flickered in the mid-air in front of Arvian.

Suddenly, every monster corpse—down to the massive boss—began to glow. A shimring light engulfed the bodies. The glow increased, filling the entire dungeon with a radiant energy.

Jaxyn was stunned. "What the... what's happening?"

"Relax," Arvian smirked. "This is just... collecting our prizes."

Suddenly, another screen panel appeared before Arvian:
