There was no moon or star.

The night sky was despairing.

The earth, shrouded by a dark, smoky fog, released wails.

The Nether Lake stirred with demonic faces that overlapped, releasing waves of terror.

Suddenly, a slit ford in the ancient cloud pathway. From this split, infinite light unfurled, montarily brightening the world.

It disappeared soon after.

From the ancient cloud pathway, an ancient pavilion swooped low, descending from the night skies.

Two figures shot out.

Elshen and Maddison materialized at the shore of the Nether Lake.

When Maarsha requested to be notified the mont the Realm Heaven in the Nether Lake appeared, the Boundless Light Empress had already sent several Dinsion Lords to oversee the region.

They spent the past decade or so waiting, notifying the Palace of Light the mont they saw the Realm Heaven manifesting.

Due to this, not long after it manifested into this world space, both Elshen and Maddison appeared.

Soon after, an indiscernible buzzing noise pierced straight into the mind, and then ca a blinding light that attempted to stun the soul.

Manifesting at Elshen’s side was a woman in a golden gown. Her legs were long and exposed, and her thighs were toned and alluring.

Her hair appeared to stop at her neck, but it actually cascaded down her back, hanging below her knees.

"Madeline." Elshen smiled and approached the Boundless Light Empress.

Though he referred to the Empress by her true na, she did not seem to mind it. Instead, there was an endearing smile on her face as she stepped closer to him.

Just then, a wave of cold, deathly energy washed over the entire Nether Lake region.

Indistinguishable murmurs manifested, attempting to drive the soul into madness.

A woman adorned in white garnts materialized.

In but an instance, the two most powerful individuals appeared in the Nether Lake region.

Naturally, these were only their avatars, but who knew how long it had been since either of them had appeared before the other like this?

Madeline chuckled lightly, "A slave has its master, and even the master has a greater master."

The Great Lord tempted the hearts of all sentient lifeforms, manipulating and controlling them to her whims. They were her slaves, willing to do her bidding at every turn.

How funny that even she, the Great Lord, found herself controlled, unable to do anything about it.

The Boundless Light Empress’s words were a direct jab that dug deep into the Great Lord’s flesh. This was a matter that threatened the stability of the Great Lord’s reputation.

Hmph!

The Great Lord scoffed at Madeline’s words and mocked, "Last ti, I rembered entering and leaving your Palace of Light unhindered. Or did your Lord prohibit you from intervening in the matters occurring within your own complex dinsion?"

The Boundless Light Empress was incredibly shaless and spoke plainly, "Hehehe, I admit that I’ve fallen for him, and I can do nothing about it. But what about you? Is this not your specialty?"

For a mont, the Great Lord was stunned.

Was she not embarrassed by her words?

The Great Lord squinted her eyes and thought for a mont before replying, "I’m not sure what you’re speaking of. I’m only slightly influenced."

Influenced slightly?

What a joke.

Maddison and Elshen observed this exchange at the side. They coincidentally shot doubtful glances at each other and chuckled inwardly.

’Slightly influenced? If I say bark, she will bark. If I say crawl, she will crawl. This Great Lord is even more shaless than the Boundless Light Empress.’ Elshen shook his head in thought.

"Okay, I’ll leave now." He could not bear to watch these Primary-Level creatures embarrass themselves any longer.

These were entities that could kill him with ease, so the more he watched, the more ashad he felt of his own weakness.

How could these creatures be more powerful than him?

Naturally, he could only afford to have such arrogant thoughts due to the infernal power he possessed.

But was it not his own Dark soul that had devoured this power for himself?

He had already gone through calamity and grasped fortune.

These were the fruits of his hardships.

"So soon?" Maddison was unwilling.

Though they did not say it aloud, both the Boundless Light Empress and the Heart Consuming Great Lord felt this way as well.

They had the knowledge of Elshen’s past in the Jade Vine Pure World.

After he acquired the main treasure of this Realm Heaven, he would very likely disappear from the Heart Dripping World Space.

When he said that he’d leave, he ant that this was the last ti they would see him in this world.

There was this sensation...

To them, Elshen felt like a fundantal aspect that made them whole.

It was not easy to tear oneself apart.

When Elshen’s words fell, there was this tearing sensation.

He found this sowhat laughable, but he restrained his laughter and voiced, "Truthfully, this is only a short parting."

"In the years to co, there will be a great opportunity. With my growing fa, many have speculated on my true identity or my background, but when that ti cos, I will naturally co to tell you all about ."

He had a way with his words that caused their heartbeats to quicken.

"Your secrets?" Maddison’s eyes lit up.

Elshen shook his head, "At that ti, it would be too dangerous for you, Maddison. Only Primary-Level creatures would be of assistance."

Upon saying this, he glanced at the two strongest existences in this world.

"I will need your help. That is, if you are willing."

His words seed to push away all sound.

These two had entire Atavistic Empires behind them.

If Elshen needed the assistance of Primary-Level creatures, it ant that they would need to move their main bodies.

However, how could they easily abandon their Atavistic Empires?

Elshen smiled aningfully.

In truth, they could not resist his plea for help.

Only after spending several years in the Palace of Light did he understand his wife’s intentions.

What treasures?

That was secondary.

To achieve what could only be considered improbable in the Paradisical Void Palace, he needed a group of Primary-Level creatures behind him.

Then this ant he would never allow these two to refuse.

Once he made it clear, what right did they have to refuse when their hearts moved on their own?

But even if there was no need, Elshen still had a way to settle their worries.

Looking at Maddison, he said, "Although that ti will be too dangerous for you, between now and then, your role is vital. The only reason your mother and the Great Lord hesitate is due to their Atavistic Empires."

His words did not imdiately bring enlightennt, but he revealed a aningful smile and winked at Maddison.

"Didn’t I teach you the secrets of embracing the world? I believe the two Empires can unite."

Maddison’s eyes widened with understanding.

Elshen nodded with satisfaction upon seeing this.

Without looking, he took two steps back and fell.

He fell backwards into the Nether Lake.

The lake materialized as a pool of kaleidoscopic colors connecting the Nether Lake to a unique realm space.
