"Cleansing Light," Margaret lightly called out.

Sowhat caught by surprise, Cleansing Light turned around and was t with Margaret’s cold gaze.

She stated plainly, "You can retreat."

It was only three words, but there was great aning in them.

She allowed him to give up on this task; this was good.

However, this was a task that he had asked for himself.

Yes, it ended up being much more complex only after he took it up, but in the end, this was a task that he sought.

Cupping his fists, he replied, "Revered Lady, I’ve tarnished the image of the Celestial Heart Atavistic Empire. I am ashad."

Since Margaret gave him a lifeline to hold onto, he quickly grabbed onto it.

In doing so, his status, which was already lower than Shifting Stars, would plumt once again.

Yet, when thinking of those who were lower than him in status, at the very least, he felt that his position at Margaret’s side was not in jeopardy, even after this blunder.

Instead, if he brazenly continued, won’t he risk a true fall from grace?

The Lady of Dazzling Light nodded her head.

In her eyes were traces of disappointnt, but they were quickly erased.

She glanced to her right and asked softly, "What about you?"

Not only was she allowing Shifting Stars to complete this complex task, which would earn him great rit, but the fact that Cleansing Light had failed miserably at this sa task would practically cent his position above the latter.

However, his eyes grew thoughtful for a few seconds before he shook his head and said helplessly, "Shifting Stars awaits your command."

He did not outrightly refuse, but there was no easy way to handle this situation either.

At least, if there was, he did not have such ans.

So he shifted the decision-making into Margaret’s hands.

Even if she commanded him to handle this matter, and he failed miserably, it still would not be as harmful as Cleansing Light’s situation.

Indeed, Margaret’s eyes lit up as she smiled and nodded approvingly.

In the next mont, her smile disappeared, and her gaze landed on Realm Father Elshen, who was gripping her sister’s shoulder threateningly.

"That Ah Ri is an insignificant Cosmos Forger," Margaret said with righteous indignation, "I will not lie to you."

"The sin of threatening the Fourth Princess’s life is deserving of death; however, due to your identity as Realm Father Elshen, and the possibilities of what you may attain in the future, if you release Maarsha right now, everything you’ve done before can be ignored."

Her words held great aning, causing Realm Father Elshen’s eyes to light up.

This was already much better than he had expected when he was making preparations.

She did not even ntion Protector Relief.

Truthfully, since he had killed a mber of the Palace of Light, the only deserving punishnt was death...

This was the law!

This was the law of the Celestial Heart Atavistic Empire.

But the First Princess did not acknowledge the old man’s existence.

She was basically saying, Ah Ri is a Cosmos Forger, so no one would care about your acts when dealing with her.

Protector Relief? Who is that?

Still, you did threaten the Fourth Princess’s life, and we are an Empire, so if we do not punish you, there will be civil unrest.

You must understand this, right?

Naturally, Margaret’s true aning could not be said out loud.

They were not the shaless and unruly Desire Dripping Atavistic Empire.

The Celestial Heart Atavistic Empire represented justice and righteousness.

If they did not appear as fair and impartial, then how could otherworldly creatures outside of the Light Elf Lineage easily trust and unite with them?

They would practically be no different than an evil power like the Desire Dripping Atavistic Empire...

The Lady of Dazzling Lights was indeed of sound mind.

She was incredibly dazzling.

Elshen inwardly nodded his head, but he did not drop his guard.

Evidently, he had suffered for seventy years after underestimating the threat of the abstract soul, especially the Secondary-Level Dinsion Lord.

Margaret was on the cusp of the Primary-Level, so he did not drop his guard whatsoever.

He had already established a path to enter the Palace of Light, but this was the worst-case scenario, and sothing he really did not seek to follow through with.

There were always losses and gains when seeking benefits.

If he were to follow this path, which he had already co up with, though the gains would largely outweigh the losses, these losses were heart-wrenching.

So he asked, seeking clarity, "Oh Lady of Dazzling Lights, I wonder what this ’can be ignored’ that you ntioned truly ans?"

Release Maarsha, and all of his actions before can be ignored.

Did this also include threatening the Fourth Princess’s life?

And even if it did, what did it an by ’be ignored’?

Margaret’s lips curled upward when she heard Elshen’s words. Her eyes showed so amusent, and she inwardly nodded her head.

Outwardly, she said, "You must still be punished after all, but I will be the judge of your actions, and I will punish as I see fit."

’I am willing to bestow lighter punishnt on you...’ Elshen instinctively translated her intentions in his mind.

He squinted his eyes thoughtfully.

This Lady of Dazzling Light appeared rather indifferent in the face of his threats in the first place.

She was so casual...

It was to the point where he wondered if she even cared for Maarsha’s life.

But when he thought of this, he quickly shook his head. This was likely an act to make him doubt whether his threats would be effective or not.

Lighter punishnt?

The question was, Worth!

Between the sche he already concocted, or this so-called lighter punishnt, which one was worth it?

Which path to take?

’This Margaret looks at as if she fancies . She may very well wish to slave away, seeing beco her left hand in place of that Cleansing Light.’ Elshen mused.

After all, though Cleansing Light was a Secondary-Level Dinsion Lord, it was a known fact that Elshen had touched upon that realm of power as a re Realm Father.

He, Elshen, was a legend amongst the Elves, widely acknowledged as the so-called Incomprehensible Realm Father.

Indeed, his fa preceded him.

On the other hand, there was surely more than one Secondary-Level Dinsion Lord amongst Margaret’s followers.

She was, after all, on the cusp of the Primary-Level.

Imagine she truly succeeded in becoming a Primary-Level Dinsion Lord?!

This would greatly affect the status of both the Boundless Light Empress and the Heart-Devouring Great Lord.

This world would have a third official Primary-Level Dinsion Lord...

The Celestial Heart Atavistic Empire might very well beco the sole powerhouse of this World Space.

And the Lady of Dazzling Lights, or Empress of Dazzling Lights, would see an influx of Secondary-Level Dinsion Lords from this World Space and outside of the 15th Heaven attempting to beco part of her following.

Her right and left hands would have transcendent statuses amongst Dinsion Lords as well.

Knowing this, Elshen would instantly beco Cleansing Light’s number one enemy.

But more than that...

Servants translated to slaves.

Followers were the glorified slaves.

Effectively, he would be the glorified slave of a Primary-Level Dinsion Lord!

This was not sothing he could easily accept.

Margaret squinted her eyes, and her subconscious warned her...
