The twin blades humd.
Their humming was pleasing to listen to, and Anon quickly lost himself in the art of the blade...
In the beginning, every slash, hack, cut, thrust, and cleave he made radiated endless might, and colors intertwined, the aura of death chilled the world that was lit up by endless blood light radiance.
Undying flas burned space, and curses affected said space that desperately healed itself, slowing its regeneration.
Black and white lightning intertwined, running rampantly across the evolving Empyrean cloud.
The dinsion’s consciousness descended, attempting to drive him mad with slaughterous energies; however, this slaughter energy also escaped from within his twin blades.
Ti passed.
The slaughter energy was the first to disappear, quickly followed by the curses and blood radiance.
The deathly aura dissipated, and undying flas dwindled.
Anon’s twin blades crackled with intensity. One black, the other white, they charged with vigor that charred and fragnted space.
Soon, even the resonance with lightning ceased. The trendous power contained within each strike was drained away.
In the blink of an eye, Anon appeared to be a mortal wielding a pair of dual blades.
Beyond the stage of weapon mastery was a state of mind.
Achieving the core of true mastery was only achieved through understanding one’s nature and nurturing the soul with one’s emotions and desires.
Empyrean Eclipse attained pseudo-Supre mastery through accumulation. His accumulation finally achieved a peak before he could awaken the will of his blade soul.
On the other hand, having already established his battle spirit, Anon sacrificed the fleshy path to his blade path.
His battle spirit then beca the will of his blade soul, but what this ant was, he did not have a process of accumulation like Empyrean Eclipse had.
However, this was effectively a good thing.
Anon’s movents were incredibly slow, and still, it was inhumanely fast in comparison to mortals.
Slower... slower... slower...
Very naturally, he began displaying his blade arts at such a speed that even the untrained eye could perceive it with clarity.
His grip had beco so loose, it felt as if the blades would fall out of his hands at any mont.
Eventually, he ca to a complete halt.
Anon’s figure, wielding dual blades, appeared to be stuck in ti. Who knows what went through his head during this period; however, he remained like this for an unnaturally long ti.
Minutes beca hours, and hours days...
Quickly, a week beca four, and a month beca a year...
His hair danced in the passing winds.
Every blink of an eye, a year beca ten, and a decade multiplied...
His cloud resonated on several occasions; however, an unknown force severed the connection between the two resonating clouds.
Anon remained adrift, seemingly stuck in ti for the greater part of three centuries.
This ti, his hair had already grown into a dark, snaky river that spread across the battle cloud.
Just then, his ears twitched.
The whispers grew clearer, and manifestations appeared before his eyes.
This was the manifestation of a world’s foundation.
The world’s foundation was a mass greater than anything he, Anon, had seen before. It was a mountain so large that it seed capable of bearing all the world’s creatures.
Standing on the peak of this mountain, he walked to the edge of the precipice and looked down, toward the countless diminutive figures that were still accumulating.
’How pitiful.’
Anon sighed.
No matter how much they accumulated, they would forever be another Empyrean Eclipse at best, unless, of course, they pursued both paths simultaneously.
But how many could walk to the peak of two paths simultaneously, and then sacrifice one to the other?
Luckily, he did not achieve pseudo-Supre mastery via accumulation. So, through accumulation, he could finally take that step to the summit.
Anon chuckled, "Heh... summit?"
He retracted his gaze from the countless shadowy figures slowly climbing the mountain. Turning his back on the rest of mortal existence, he absorbed another, most brilliant sight.
Far away, there was a mountain.
In comparison, the mountain top he stood on was only comparable to the base of that faraway mountain.
There were shadowy figures that stepped onto the mountain, attempting to crawl up to the mountain’s peak.
This was a peak that could not be perceived.
Since appearing in this place, Anon was already beyond the layers of clouds; however, this faraway mountain pierced into the deepest void, beyond worlds!
Anon eventually appeared at the base of this mountain.
The shadowy beings he had seen from far away, upon arriving at the mountain’s base, appeared to him as tall as mountains themselves.
Anon looked up, and no matter where he looked, each shadowy entity was countless tis larger than him, so much so that he could not see above their waists.
His appearance instantly drew attention. The miniature shadow was not even a 1000th of their size.
"Mortal?!" A booming sound violently exploded in Anon’s mind. His vision blurred, and the world began to fragnt before his eyes.
Before realizing when, his spiritual thoughts returned to his body. This was a body that had not moved an inch for three centuries!
Thrum!
The mont his muscles twitched, his twin blades released a hum that spread across the world. Where his blade pointed, two dark slits in space ford.
Subconsciously, Anon understood that these slits led to two distinct spaces that were both beyond the inverted sky dinsion.
Verily, as a Supre master over the bladed pathway, if he so wished to leave the inverted sky dinsion, he could easily achieve this.
However, the world beyond these spaces was not Earth. Instead, both were an expanse of different cosmic spaces.
He, Anon, was powerful, and with the power of his soul, he did not need food and oxygen, however, to be stranded in cosmic space was not a fate he sought.
’The position where I entered this world should hold the key to returning to Earth,’ Anon thought whilst his eyes searched the crimson expanse, but to no avail.
Likely, that position was connected to the Inverted Cathedral, which resided on Earth. Once he shattered the dinsional space in that location, it was possible to forcibly return to Earth.
Yet still, Anon wasn’t perturbed when he failed to locate that location.
’I do not know what that place was,’ Anon thought, referring to the realm containing the mountain peak and the greater mountain.
’However, the aura within that place has already seeped into my soul. A kind of aura that is drastically beyond the slaughterous energy of this dinsion’s consciousness. Just the wisp of aura in that Supre realm, and my soul is already transforming...’
Similar to his soul’s transformation whenever he devoured the slaughterous energy this dinsion had to offer, this ti, it was a godly force that purified his dark soul.
Still, even this holy power was forcefully concentrated into a drop of power and swallowed whole by his excited soul.
Anon’s twin blades buzzed in a life-like manner whilst circling his figure. On the other hand, he peacefully ditated on the Empyrean cloud.
At the sa ti, the cloud itself slowly expanded across the crimson sea’s surface.
Inevitably, the world roared with rage.
The Empyrean cloud trembled as it began resonating with other clouds; however, the residual power emanating from Anon’s figure utterly suppressed all forms of resonance.
The dinsion’s consciousness would not allow this.
Churning with turbulence, Empyrean clouds all across the crimson expanse were instantly caught in the endless power of the dinsional world.
Even Empyreans, in the end, were mortal existences.
In the face of an entire dinsion’s all-out efforts, they had no way of resisting.
Anon’s crimson cloud was utterly stagnant in the crimson expanse. The edges of his soul cloud continuously expanded.
Suddenly, the space encompassing his soul cloud buzzed with intensity, and a mont after, dozens of crimson clouds appeared.
From all directions across the crimson expanse, Anon’s soul cloud was completely blocked off.
So soul clouds were only a hundred thousand ters, and others were nearing six hundred thousand ters.
When they interlocked, a muffled boom was heard across the entire world.
Slaughterous energy across the inverted sky dinsion was instantaneously drawn toward this battle cloud.
One must understand that, in theory, a Primordial Ascension occurs when a soul cloud is nurtured to a size of 600,000 ters.
On the other hand, this battle cloud...
It was ford from the rger of sixty-three soul clouds. The battle cloud spanned more than 25,000 kiloters, and it was still expanding.
How vast was this battle cloud?
In the old world, the Earth was a planet with a diater of about 12,742 kiloters. This battle cloud was, roughly speaking, twice this size.
Upon sensing the gazes of more than sixty Empyreans, Anon opened his eyes.
The weight of his gaze was akin to a supre mountain, heavier than the combined weight of the other, over sixty mountains.
His gaze landed on the many Empyreans, and he roared, "I, Anon Xerxes, son of Pandora and Aegon Xerxes, will soon transcend this dinsion, return to Earth, and transcend worlds!"
"Leave at once!" Anon growled.
His voice contained an unfathomable power that penetrated deep into the souls of the Empyreans and the many creatures across the crimson expanse.
Such a powerful voice, originating from a semi-unfathomable soul, saw the souls of creatures weaker than ancestors instantly crumble.
But the Empyreans who bore the brunt of this impact showed no signs of retreating.
The daemons and native humans alike had black eyes with crimson pupils.
Anon imdiately perceived their strangeness, and to boot, there was a foreign yet familiar aura emanating from each one.
"Seth? No, I understand." Anon knowingly smiled, and he asked them, "So, is this the great sche? Did you plan to transform from my soul into a mindless spawn of you, the oh so great Infernal god?"
There was little respect in his voice, and even less reverence.
Slaughterous energy danced across the entire battle cloud, as if celebrating the appearance of their god.
Each Empyrean spoke simultaneously, "Little one, what enlightennt did you experience?"
Though they were individually separate entities, their voices lded into one voice that was both male and female, rough-sounding and pleasant-sounding, and at the sa ti, neither male nor female.
The many Empyreans observed Anon with amusent and pondered aloud, "I wonder why it is that your soul already contains so of the mysteries of an unfathomable soul?"
