’Oh my?!’ Anon exclaid inwardly whilst his eyes shone brightly with amusent. Standing in a very familiar hall, he looked over to Seth with so excitent.

"Was that teleportation? With just a casual wave of the hand!" Anon muttered with bathed breaths. Such incredible prowess was sothing that left a burning desire of wanting to swell in his heart.

On the other hand, Seth remained silent until the dean himself appeared in front of the two. Only then did he open his mouth.

"Can you answer this, dean?" Seth’s words caused the dean’s ears to perk up. The forr wasn’t soone that usually spoke, so it was difficult to guess what was in his mind.

Obviously, the ability to read minds would greatly diminish this difficulty.

’Reading minds is only wishful thinking. Even if our principle’s are similar, I am no Paradisical City Lord.’ Veerabhadran Rao thought to himself.

"What is the current ti?" Seth asked.

"Oh..." Though it did not show on his face, the dean was slightly perplexed by Seth’s question. But he answered anyways, "Only a few minutes remain until one." He replied.

"Not long after the notification, the Cinder Fiend attacked us. Since its attack, until the waving of the dean’s hand, I’d say no more than so tens of seconds would’ve passed." Seth smirked and turned towards Anon, but he did not say more.

"Ah." Anon’s eyes flashed with a light of understanding.

’Although it felt like an instant, it took us tens of minutes to reach the dean’s office.’ Anon nodded his head internally as he gradually understood.

’To influence my mind to such a degree is incredible. As expected of a fourth world stellar fighter.’ Anon sighed, feeling a hint of amazent.

’Inducing sleep is one thing, but affecting a mind’s perception of ti to such a degree is another. I’ve narrowed down the number of principle’s greatly. Most likely, the dean has a mirage-based principle. Intriguing.’ Seth mused to himself.

’Intriguing.’ Veerabhadran Rao also thought of this word. He could sowhat see through what Seth was subtly implying to Anon, allowing him to co to a decently accurate conclusion to what Seth’s intention behind his question was.

’Wanting to gauge my capabilities? Does he wish to know the nature of my principle?’ The dean smiled at this.

Still, it was a harmless bit of events that only intrigued him slightly.

Shifting his focus, he waved his hand, causing a table and three mats to materialize. Taking a seat atop one, across the table, he signaled for Anon and Seth to do the sa.

"You must be wondering why I brought you here instead of returning you to your dwellings. I’ll be straightforward. The founder bestowed so information to about you. Particularly the semi Arcane-grade magic item in your possession." He smiled and focused his wise gaze on Anon.

Anon remained silent outwardly, but his thoughts were generated at a rapid pace in his mind.

’The founder huh. Why would father reveal this to him? No, wait. Much less a Sky-grade magic item, even an Arcane-grade magic item would not be of high value to a stellar fighter in the fourth world.’ Anon assessed inwardly.

Clenching his jaw, he suppressed the bubbling anticipation in his chest.

Then, the accessory on his wrist lit up as a burst of light shot out. Floating in the air before three pair’s of eyes, was the Sky-grade anklets.

"Oh, are you not worried that I may be desiring them?" Veerabhadran Rao rose an eyebrow upon seeing Anon’s willingness to confirm his words.

"I trust that the founder and the dean are bought above such a concept like greed, especially towards a Sky-grade item." Anon casually thought of so sweet nothings to say, but these words caused the dean to smile warmly, and reply with a hint of enthusiasm.

"In fact, the founder said that it is stuck between the Sky-grade and Arcane-grade, and that, soon, such a Sky-grade item would be of no use to you. Though he speaks in riddles, what he ans is for to assist its evolution, and by extension, help you brand it." He said.

Similar to how a first world Bolan could’ve utilized a Sky-grade treasure, with the dean’s help, Anon would similarly be capable of utilizing an Arcane-grade treasure whilst still being in the second world.

Naturally, once the anklets evolved into an Arcane-grade magic item, using it whilst still in the second world would not be recomnded, but it was still possible.

Anon heard the dean’s words and felt so emotion wash over his heart.

’Is this True father’s work? No, rather than if he secretly visited , True father cannot hide this. Does this an that this is my father’s intentions? My father is actually assisting ?’ Though Anon’s mind grew chaotic for a short while, he made sure that any hint of his thoughts did not spill out through his eyes.

Instead, he appeared to be suppressing imnse excitent for the possibility of acquiring an Arcane-grade magic item.

Seth, who was observing Anon’s reactions, did not sense anything amiss.

Instead, he thought to himself, ’Why did the dean even bother bringing here? Did he not want to make a stop to our residence? Or is he trying to sow discord between and Anon by making jealous? Jealous of a re Arcane-grade treasure...? Pathetic!’

’The good news for him is that there is no greater discord between two lifeforms, than the budding animosity between Anon and myself.’ Seth silently mused to himself.

...

Bolan, Andrew, Catharina, lissa.

Amongst the year one students, the Blackridge district had seen the most causalities compared to any other district.

Death.

Tis had changed, and the concept of death itself had also changed.

As the creator of the current society, the supre commander’s influence would’ve had a massive impact on this very concept.

Still, even if the death of students within the military academy did not cause mass turmoil throughout the populace of the Core City, the human lord’s manipulation still had limitations.

After all, those directly related to these individuals would, for a mont, break free from the influence of the supre commander, and grieve for their loss.

And though it had beco so, that the death of a student or mber of the army was sothing to feel honored about as a mber of that family, not everyone would particularly feel that way.

This was especially the case if their death in and of itself, was not particularly honorable.

Naturally, to see their loved one’s final monts would require unordinary ans. After all, only the founder of the academy was capable of viewing the happenings within the Blood-Drip Jungle.

Still, unordinary ans went hand in hand with people of power.

And of the four originating from Blackridge to have died, two had direct relations with such people.

...

"Such ferocity, such wickedness."

The planet Earth was one of many planets that worked in unison to maneuver through the solar system in seamless fashion.

The great rebirth had dispersed a great many illusions.

One of such illusions was that the system in which the earth resided in, was not the only planet that held life.

Such information, the public was completely unaware of.

Still, they were quite familiar with the ruined worlds, fallen stars, and shattered planets that decorated the sky, bringing light and a multitude of colors to their world.

Maybe the truly powerful deed it unnecessary for the common people to know everything, or maybe it was simply too dark a truth, the entire truth...

Between worlds was an expanse of darkness, void of matter, lacking energy and substance.

Unbothered and unaffected by the lack of anything was a single humanoid figure.

He appeared almost like any other human, with short black hair faded on the sides, and a chiseled jaw, coupled with his mature appearance hinting at his age ranging in the mid thirties, he could’ve been considered a decently attractive figure.

Only, the size of his body would certainly throw that notion away.

Though he assud a ditative posture in the center of the empty void, even sitting, he would tower over five average n standing on each other’s shoulders.

His voice was neither fully male nor feminine.

"The Supre Commander must know what deplorable acts this little monster has committed. Is he planning to nurture a young devil in his academy?"

Before him, several phantasmal scenes played out. There was an open field, along with so trees on one side. And pinned to a tree was Bolan.

The scene played out.

Of Anon consuming the living Bolan.

"Killing is one thing, but to eat the flesh of another human... Well, it is not my place to interfere with the Supre Commander’s sches and conspiracies."

It would be stupid to believe that Otherworldly Knights weren’t aware of the human lord’s true nature.

A nature not revealed to the public.

But there were no stupid Otherworldly Knights.

It was practically impossible to find an Otherworldly Knight willing to stand against the human lord.

"Against the countless species of this vast universe, the Human Lord is the one to lead us to supremacy."

"Universal Supremacy? My human race’s universal supremacy!"

"I really like how that sounds."

If anything, it would be the beings one level in the evolution chain below, who would dare stand against the human lord.

They were too unaware to understand.

They had too little fear.
