Madrid, Spain.
The stadium was a cauldron of emotion. Colorful lights flickered and the stadium was lit with the electrifying roar of Atletico supporters.
A sea of supporters clad in red and white striped jerseys buzzed, their chatter filling the stadium.
On the ground, a stage had been set to welco their newest signing. Huge LED screens had been set up and the stadium speakers were bombarding lively music to make the atmosphere even livelier.
Outside the stadium, more and more people were arriving. Flocking inside the stadium, the crowd had jamd the traffic, and the street was swarming with people.
Security personnel were stationed outside to manage the crowd.
"It's ti, Hiro," Pablo said arriving inside the room where Hiro was waiting for the signal.
For a while, he had been waiting. He had put on light makeup and was dressed in the white and red striped jersey of Atletico.
However, he hadn't been assigned a number yet.
Hearing Pablo's call, Hiro stood up and turned to look at him, "Pablo, is it crowded?"
"What do you think?"
Hiro was unaware of the swarm of people awaiting him. However, he could tell that a few thousand people would have shown up.
"Maybe a few couple thousand," Hiro answered.
Hearing Hiro's estimation, Pablo couldn't help but grin. He couldn't help but imagine Hiro's response after seeing the crowd of people outside.
After all, the number of people outside had even surpassed his expectations.
"Then you're in for a surprise," Pablo grinned.
Before heading out, Hiro made sure everything was right. He looked himself in the mirror and smoothened the creases. The stylist responsible for styling him perford a few finishing touches, making sure everything was in place.
Given his already charming appearance, he looked even more charming right now.
Realizing the growing craze of idols in Asia and around the world, the club wanted to
capitalize on Hiro's looks and market him around the world.
"Don't you look exceptionally good-looking today?" Pablo couldn't refrain from making the complint.
"So, you an, I didn't look good before?" Hiro teased him.
"You know that's not what I an," Pablo responded with a straight face.
Hiro was attempting to get him worked up to lighten the atmosphere. But he couldn't pierce Pablo's thick skin. He was as stern-looking as ever.
Noticing the unchanged expression of Pablo, Hiro sighed, "Wish luck..."
Hiro then headed outside. Having prepared in advance, Hiro was well aware of the path he had to take to reach outside.
The caran waiting on him outside the waiting room followed him as he advanced. Having experienced such a mont before, Hiro wasn't bothered by the caran following him. However, the growing buzz was starting to get on his nerves.
The buzz grew even louder as he ca before the tunnel.
Bright light pierced from the entrance, dimly illuminating the tunnel. He had walked this tunnel multiple tis but it didn't feel as nerve-wracking as it was right now.
Hiro stood before the descending stairway that led inside the tunnel. His heart pounded with anticipation and he felt his body stiffening.
He could audibly hear the electrifying buzz coming from the outside.
Hiro could tell that a large number of people were waiting for him outside.
Without interrupting, the cara crew silently recorded him. This footage wasn't shown to the people outside but was broadcast live around the world.
In the pitch, the anticipation was growing with each passing mont. This crowd of people had been waiting for a while to catch a glimpse of Hiro.
More than an unveiling event, it looked like a Champions League final.
The stadium was filled to the brim and even more people were watching this event outside the stadium. Even the live viewers watching this event on YouTube had surpassed a staggering 3.6 million people.
Hiro was aware that he wasn't a local star but an international star right now.
After crossing 20 million followers on Instagram, he stopped counting his follower count too. Well, the account was managed by Ayumi, his manager, so, he didn't have anything to worry about it.
However, after his rise in popularity, he was flooded with brand deals. Most he avoided but so he couldn't. Yet still, Hiro found the features of Instagram rather satisfactory. Mainly because he didn't have to act like he had to do with the comrcials.
He could simply pose for a photo and post it.
This to him was rather convenient.
Feeling the growing buzz, Hiro inhaled deeply before advancing. For so reason, those few steps in the tunnel felt more sharper than ever.
It was as if he could hear those steps audibly despite the buzz going around him. Those steps felt heavier too.
Finally, he reached the end of the tunnel, the sharp light from outside penetrated his vision and made him squinch.
Boom!
Loud music echoed throughout the stadium as Hiro stepped outside the tunnel. At the sa ti, the crowd erupted into roars.
A deafening roar reverberated around the stadium, sending waves, and shaking every nook and canny of the stadium.
Sparks flew as the firecrackers were lit, making the event even more srizing and grand.
The viewer count skyrocketed the mont Hiro stepped inside the stadium. The fans outside buzzed with joy, their face lit with elation.
