Beasts started to get closer to the seal. Whether it be for anger because it was opened, out for blood, or simply following the law of the jungle.
Rex’s won all stood around preparing for the worst. Not only could they feel the bloodlust but the amount was far larger than normal.
"These beasts are not what they seem. Sothing is driving them to us. There are currently two possibilities and neither one I like." Lilith spoke.
Everyone knew what the two possibilities were. No words were needed but their feelings all the sa.
"Prepare for the battle. Make sure there is overlapping coverage. Second, no one is allowed to get injured. If need be, we will jump inside the seal." Iris told them.
This was unexpected from her. They knew if anything happened while Rex was away. He would be hurt both physically and emotionally.
"Fenggo, start with poisoning the outer periter. That will help us in the long run. Iris, help Fenggo with the poison barrier to ensure that the first couple of waves drown most of the beasts." Liz spoke.
"Lilith, you and I can use Dark Qi barriers to prevent rush after the waves have been drowned and full." Violet spoke.
’These won.’ Lilith thought listening to the commands.
Everyone was preparing to the last minute. It did not take long before everything was settled and ready to go.
A few beasts had already tried to enter and got burnt to oblivion. The fire from Liz was much more powerful than normal. Part of it was due to Rex giving the buff, and the other part was her emotions.
Having strong emotional outburst can affect the way Qi attacks are not only maintained but affect the other. A normal, average person on a normal, average day is baseline on their Qi. That sa normal, average person on a bad day can affect the Qi inside his attack or how it affects the opponent. The normal, average person on a bad weather day can also affect the Qi attack. It could strengthen or disrupt the attack before it goes one arm’s length away.
If that normal, average person is having a bad day and the weather is bad. Depending on the state of the weather, the attack can multiply into great, powerful blitz or a strong enough attack to crumble mountains or nothing can happen at all.
Liz using her emotions to protect everyone had burnt the beasts beyond recognition. The won got back together and prepared for when the beasts would launch themselves.
The beasts entering here is how Rex was blocked from advancing and retreating.
Beasts began to fall due to the poison that Fenggo made. This helped cover up the moat that the won had made.
It was not long before a loud roar to charge into the seal was made. Since many beasts on the frontline had fallen now. None of them knew that the moat was there and fell in being trampled on and poisoned to death.
"I’m going to light up the far side." Liz spoke.
She raised her hands. Eight massive balls of fire were launched. When they touched down on the ground. Another wave was cleared and the impact caused more shaking than anything.
"Damn, that was good." Liz thought.
Everyone knew why she did that. To give more ti to prepare defenses. The imdiate multiple roars sounded. Dread filled Fenggo.
"Do not worry everyone for we are united. Your fears will be resolved once we win. Your fears are going to strengthen you to fight better." Lilith yelled.
She could tell that the roars were under her skin. Nothing in the Mortal Realm should have done that. That is why she tried to pull everyone back together.
Another wave of destruction blasted through the beasts. This ti they were covered in Qi to protect them.
"Beasts do not protect themselves or others. Why is it that they are protected?" Almost everyone had the sa speech.
A roar ca much closer. It sounded as if it was mocking the won’s attempt to cause destruction.
Fenggo smiled as she made a super concentrated form of her poison. She sent it out in a wave form.
Agonies ca from the beasts. Their attempt to break the poison was unfruitful. The beasts collapsed were they stood and so did Fenggo from coughing up blood.
No one knew why it happened or what took place. They made sure to keep an eye on her side of the battlefield. Once one person fell, it would not take long for others.
Then twenty spears made up of fire and brimstone ca crashing down. The very embodint of destruction before them.
Iris was able to destroy one. Liz was able to cause two of them to hit each other. Fenggo held her hand up and held the other five while Lilith destroyed them with just her Demonic Qi.
Then they saw the true monsters of the waves. They were not affected by poison. Too tall to go into the moat. There were three of them with a Fourth behind the group.
