Rex started up his mountain. Feeling the cold wind against his chest as if the clothing on him was not even there. Even worst, he could not help but sink into the snow.

His feet almost covered in blue color now and cannot feel the blood circulation. Worst yet, it had not been but just a few minutes up the mountain.

"Damn. The fur on this beast must be either extraordinary or covered so thickly that it cannot be affected." Rex grumbled.

In the distance, a person looked at him like he was stupid. Eight beasts ca around the person.

"Ensure that he is scared off. I do not care how or why. Just ensure that all of you return." The person spoke.

One of the beasts jumped from the higher sight. It slowly made its way down the mountain. By this ti now, Rex was for sure that up to his knees were covered in frostbite.

Worst yet, he did not even know how much longer until he t one of the beasts.

"I cannot leave until I et," Rex started to think out loud before seeing sothing in the distance.

A smile ford as this was the beast he needed. The beast looked at Rex with the strangest of looks. Rex imdiately rushed the beast and punched it so hard that it died imdiately.

The person who wanted Rex scared away felt a pain in his chest. He went to look and saw Rex sliding down the mountain with the dead beast.

"My dearest friends, soone has killed our brother." The person spoke up.

The seven beasts ca forward. Their glare was as angry as the look on thr person’s face. No amount of bloodshed could bring back the lost they had currently.

"Kill him slowly but ensure that I can finish him off." The person spoke.

Rex was already at the bottom and stored the beast within his storage. Him and the beasts darted off. Rex could already feel his legs becoming better. That was not a good sign.

"How is that within minutes of entering I could not even keep my feet out of the snow yet once I leave I am recovering quickly?" Rex thought.

Once the beasts had arrived, their eyes tried to pick up on the scent of their fallen. They could not. They tried to pick up the scent of Rex and it felt too confusing trying to.

The person made down the mountain after the beasts in twenty minutes. He was surprised that they were confused as he was.

"No matter what. We will find him and ensure that the death of our fallen is secured." The person spoke.

Seeing the person now, he looked like a military commander with multiple high honors. His clean hair cut suggesting sothing greater than just normal cultivation. The boots laced even tighter now that he has to help search for Rex.

"Nothing and I an nothing will stop us from finding that bitch and killing him." He spoke.

Imdiately, the beasts slled their fallen and roared angrily. They charged towards the area where the sll was the strongest.

anwhile

"I need to do this quickly." Rex stripped the fur of the beast off.

He got a "Ding" but quickly put the beast back in his system and the group left. He could feel it now. Sothing and soone daring to co after him.

He did not want the beasts with him to get hurt or worst. The only really wrong thing they did was eye was food. He had given it to them to share and eat.

As they were running. Rex felt sothing hit his chest. The wind got knocked out of him imdiately. He had already drained the blood of the beast within his system, he had already gotten the fur, and all he needed to now was find the lowly beast.

Rex felt that soone or sothing was trying to see what he saw. Rex did not allow them to. He imdiately checked his notifications.

"Beasts of the Winter Mountain and their Trainer have their abilities on you. Kill them or make them submit."

"Congratulations, you have obtained the fur of Winter Beast. Due to having gotten a tad beast, the siblings and it’s master is on your trial."

Rex was angered that they dared to chase him. He turned around and told the beasts to stay still. Having attacked him, Rex was no longer going to play by their rules.

He darted off too fast for the eyes to see. When he ca back upon where he had skinned the beast. The other Winter Beasts were trying to find Rex. Rex had continued his dart and punched the military man with all of his strength. He went through trees, while Rex caught up to him and continued the punching.

The Winter Beasts roared in agony as their master was taken away. They followed hoping that he would survive whatever took him away.

Rex ended the fight near the mountain. He stomped on the chest of the military man.

"Do not get up you piece of shit." Rex told him.

Rex’s eyes burned with fury. The man did not want to die there.

"Who are you and why did you attack ?" Rex asked altering sitting down.

"I had to. The Winter Beasts are my friends and you killed my friend. Once I got a hold of your Qi, I was able to knock the wind out of your chest. The Beasts could not track you still.

Killing a beast that was barely old enough to roar proudly, is that what makes you cultivators from the Ninth Realm special? If so, go fuck off."

Rex was stunned that the man thought he was from the Ninth Realm. Rex also knew he would live without dical care.

"I’ll tell you what. I have a healing pill on and I can tell you why I killed that beast. I can and will only do one. The other is up to figure out. Which will it be?" Rex asked.

"I want the information. I have pills." The man stated.

He opened up a pocket and ate a healing pill. It was a low tier healing pill, it was enough for him to survive until he could return to his ho.
