With the Alpha Apex blocking the way. The group halted while Rex stepped forward. He was under the impression that the Alpha Apex needed sothing.
"What is wrong?" Rex impatiently asked.
"I want to release my title of Alpha Apex to you. I will go back to my original Apex form. Will you allow to?" The Alpha Apex bowed and pleaded.
"No. I will not accept that title." Rex replied.
The Alpha Apex beca dishearted. It slowly raised itself up and was about to leave.
"Did I say that you could leave?" Rex was at his end's wit with it.
The Alpha Apex looked at Rex sad. There was nothing holding the current Alpha Apex from being killed and having his title taken away.
"If you are going to so easily accept giving it up. Give it back to the Apex Swimr." Rex said.
The group made a right turn and left the Alpha Apex in the sa spot for ten minutes.
"Alright. If that is what you want." The Alpha Apex replied.
In the Apex Swimr's Layer
"Well, that was a wild chase into the depths of my layer." The Apex Swimr replied.
She had no idea why she had to follow him. The Apex Swimr no longer cared. She just gently swam through, enjoying the fruits of the layer.
Too much ti seed to pass by, and the Apex Swimr hoped that Rex won. Not knowing the current ti, she quickly dismissed the thought.
"APEX SWIMR." The Alpha Apex called.
"What does it want now?" The Apex Swimr thought angrily.
She saw what seed to be a saddened face on the Alpha Apex. She also knew that this was where it needed to be done.
"You need to be better than this. Otherwise, you will not retain your title longer." The Apex Swimr said.
"Would you be the one to take it back?" The Alpha Apex replied.
"No. I will not take it from you. That is against the rules. I would crush the next one, though." The Apex Swimr replied.
"Could I give it back to you?"
The shocking news that it wanted to give the title back was so stunning that neither one moved. As if nothing else mattered at that mont, both just stared into emptiness.
"Why would you give it back instead of fighting?" The Apex Swimr asked.
"I am not strong nor am I good. The only reason why I won last ti was for the fact of surprising you." The Alpha Apex replied.
The Apex Swimr laughed. She did not know that is what it thought.
"Truly, you are weak. You thought that you only won because you had surprising attacks on . You won because I let you win. You were not trying to kill but subdue . That is why you won."
As if gears finally clicked together. The Alpha Apex finally understood why it won. He wanted to fight fair and square to see who would win.
"Shall we dance?" The Alpha Apex asked.
"Dancing in my layer or above ground." The Apex Swimr asked.
"Of course above ground. It would not be a fair fight if we fought here." The Alpha Apex rolled its eyes.
"Yup." The Apex Swimr nodded.
The duo went above ground. The Alpha Apex ford a small bubble around the Apex Swimr.
"In this fight, if I take severe damage. The title of Alpha Apex will be transferred to the Apex Swimr." The Alpha Apex thought.
This thought of his beca reality.
With a dash towards the current Alpha Apex. The Alpha Apex saw how slow she was moving.
Instead of blocking it, it just smacked the belly of the Apex Swimr with its tail. As if she wanted it to, she grabbed the tail.
Sothing weird happened. The sound of hissing could be heard beside her ear.
A rattlesnake looking creature was wrapping around the Apex Swimr. She got angered because this was a trick that caused her to lose focus.
"No. Do not worry about the Alpha Apex. I have to," She instantly stopped her train of thought.
She did not know if sothing had actually caused her to beco delusional. She had to focus on both of the attacks. The snake wrapping itself around, and whatever was next from the Alpha Apex.
A single air bubble floated to the rattlesnake creature. The air bubble caused the snake to lose its wrap.
That was because it exploded between the Apex Swimr and the snake. Such a wide expansion could not be held by the small snake.
It quickly reattached itself to the tail of the Apex Swimr. Now, the Snake was trying to stop the tail from moving instead of just wrapping itself around.
The Apex Swimr noticed this. She could do another air bubble. That was a technique she had ford to be for single use for ergencies.
Since one technique was down. She had to quickly co up with a different approach.
She began to spin at high velocity and pointed herself at the Alpha Apex, who just seemingly did not care.
She found this suspicious. She was going through with this attack.
"Pierce the Ocean," the Apex Swimr thought.
Before the attack landed, she noticed the Alpha Apex unfazed by such a technique.
She got wrapped by the Alpha Apex. Now, she had no chance of escaping. Any attack she could do was now not enough.
Instead, she focused on the water bubble. She was going to expand it to such a degree that it was going to form a new ocean.
The water bubble started to expand at a rapid pace. Barely even twenty minutes had passed, and the water bubble was large enough.
"Water Exploration," the Apex Swimr announced.
The next second, the entire water bubble beca just water droplets. All of them were focused on the Alpha Apex.
It had not done any attack or blocking yet. This seed to scare the Apex Swimr for just a mont. Until she saw the cave co up. She knew that was his greatest trump.
Instead of using it, block the attack. The Apex Swimr was thrown into the cave and was knocked out.
The night fell. The Apex Swimr woke up to see the Alpha Apex on the ground. She did not notice the small snake on the cave.
The Apex Swimr saw that the Alpha Apex had just shed its skin. She was afraid that she had lost.
That was until she felt a bite on her right shoulder. She had water from her veins blow through the snake's bite.
This caused the snake to be knocked out montary.
The Apex Swimr felt a familiar feeling inside of her. She knew that the title of Alpha Apex had been given back to her.
"Why?" She cried.
"That was the only way for 'him' to be happy." The snake smiled and slithered back into the cave.
The Apex Swimr did not want the title back, but here she had just won the title back.
"I will have to punish 'him' later." The Apex Swimr went back to her layer to sleep.
