Lilith, Demon Rex, and Bella started their way up the stairs. We were going to get a big start on the next day.
Soni pulled on my shirt. She held her head down. When the others looked towards , I motioned them to move on.
Once the others were away.
"What is wrong, Soni?" I asked.
"I have more to talk about. I could not ntion it in front of the others." She spoke, barely lifting her head.
"Okay." I led her to the table.
I sat her down first. I went to the other side of her.
"What do we need to talk about?" I asked.
Soni was extrely nervous. She was also obviously scared to speak her mind.
"How long do you think fairies live for?" Soni asked.
"Honestly, I would think a long ti. I do not know how long that is." I answered.
"We only die one way. That is through the mother. Since I am now a mother, I cannot die. Even if my mother would allow to die." Soni replied.
I was surprised to hear such a thing from Soni. I knew that was not the end of it.
"The only way for a fairy to beco a mother is to be nad. The na giver and that fairy are locked together forever. Even if you die, I will not die, nor will I be able to find another mate." Soni answered.
I knew that would suck for anyone. Since the only way for a fairy mother to die does not exist. That would truly be a broken heart throughout eternity.
"I take it you want more children?" I asked.
"For now, No. I will ask that you give so when I ask. There is more that I need to talk about." Soni's voice beca depressed.
I did not release how much she had been told by her mother. I guess it makes sense that she got overloaded with information.
"I know my children want to be nad. I have felt it once a fairy is nad. They beco a fairy mother. I do not want them to live like I am living now. I am saddened to say that I do not think they will agree." Soni finally told .
"Let take a guess. Your mother told you about how she wants to die and cannot die. You know you will eventually reach that point and do not want your children to do so, correct?"
Soni nodded in agreent.
"It will be fine. I know that the rest of us are strong. I will make sure that nothing bad happens. Go on ahead and sleep, and we can finish talking once morning cos."
Soni kissed on the cheeks.
She went up first.
I decided to take a little stroll up the coast.
Walking up the coast with nothing else better to do is quite relaxing. I had already thought about how Lilith would like to do this also. She used her connection to imdiately co to .
We wrapped our arms around each other's waist. We just casually walked up the beach line.
Hearing and watching the sea waves crash. It was truly relaxing. I ended up falling asleep on Lilith's shoulders.
Lilith's pov
Having my husband fall asleep on my shoulders was a blessing. I had not truly been able to spend ti with him. He casually called to join in a peaceful walk. I had no doubt that one of us would fall asleep.
It was surprising to see that my husband was the first one to fall asleep. I gracefully picked him up and carried him back to the forge.
We entered, and I moved so quickly and quietly. No one was disturbed. That was truly good.
I began to think about what to say to him.
"Husband, it was truly good to walk up the coast with you. Will you please do that again?" I whispered.
I decided that was too straightforward and not enough love in that.
"Husband, I loved the walk we did. I hope that in the future we can do this again." I decided that there was too much love in that.
"I know this is selfish of , Husband. I want to be able to just go out and walk again. Will you please plan our next trip?"
I loved it. I had just enough love and being selfish in it.
Rex rolled over in his sleep. He began to hug .
I knew I was blessed to have such a fine man. I know that there are others living with scum. I hoped that my husband would take care of the others who were waiting for him.
I gracefully slid down into the covers. I let the warmth from Rex continue on my face.
It was truly a peaceful mont. I hoped that I would have wonderful dreams in the future.
Just before I fell asleep, I heard a thought from Rex.
"I wanted Lilith to be happier. I know that she is not pleased with ."
I wanted to wake him up. I wanted to beco the peace that Rex could always hold unto.
"Husband, you are wonderful. I could not ask for a better husband than you. What makes unhappy is that you are unhappy. I get angry easily because I am a demon. I want you to know that just because I get angry. I will always love you." I whispered.
Whatever dream, my husband was having turned out for the better.
"Lilith is happy with . I will beco a pillar of happiness for her. You need to get out of my dreams!" I heard my husband yell.
I did not know who or what was inside his dreams. I knew one thing, though. I would fight whoever or whatever made my husband think like that during a dream.
I stayed awake for a little longer before finally passing out myself. I happened to sleep longer than usual. No one seed to mind and allowed to sleep peacefully.
