"What do you an by that Alicia? Mommy simply wants to make sure that you look presentable that's all." Jennifer said as she acts like she was simply worried about her young daughter. Paul on the other hand had pretty much guessed what his wife was so happy about, there was ONLY one thing in the world which would make her so happy, 'GETTING HER PRECIOUS SON-IN-LAW' even he himself can never understand how a mother can be so eager to let precious daughter get taken away from her.
Paul took a deep breath and finally said, "Okay enough! I don't want to hear any more words from the both of you. Ally, mother is simply trying to push you to get together with her son-in-law sooner, and Jennifer, Ally is not a price that you need to parade around to every young man you take a liking to. If you continue with this, you will scare her. Let her take her ti with this okay, don't butt in so much."
Jennifer gasped loudly acting as if she was aggrieved.

the mont Alicia walked into the dinning, she felt utter chills down her spine, more like she had walked into a morgue for the first ti in her life. She could not understand the change in the air, which made her doubt her mother even more, she is an actual magnet for trouble.
Her eyes landed on the duo of n who seated next to each other, the gaze they kept on each other explained the change in weather completely.
"Noah? Noah is that you?" were the first words which ca out of her mouth the mont she noticed the excellent man in the dining room was him. She hadn't seen him in almost a year because of his busy schedule, he wasn't a man who ca to see her without having sothing to complain about, she wasn't the easiest person to get along with either.
Noah smiled when his eyes landed on the woman in front of the door, she looked as beautiful as the first ti he laid eye on her three-years ago.
He left his seat and gave Alicia a warm hug and left a small kiss on her forehead. Alicia pouted her lips from his kiss and looked at him accusingly, Noah chuckled lightly from her eyes and said, "You haven't been taking care of yourself well ever since I went back ho. You know my mom has been waiting for you to visit her. She knows you don't take proper care of yourself. Also, ... what is this I hear about you getting yourself a boyfriend out of the blue?"
Alicia looked at Noah with a shocked expression and said, "Actually Noah, I can explain the matter about the 'boyfriend', you have to calm down first so I can talk to you. Promise you won't get mad?"
