She pulled back and glared at him, her cheeks puffed up in defiance. "I don’t want dicine," she said stubbornly, crossing her arms over her chest.
Lucas blinked in shock, still processing what had just happened. "No, Ky-Ky, it’s for your own good," he insisted, looking up at her, still sprawled on the sofa.
But before he could say anything more, Kyra gave him another surprise. She leaned down and bit his tall nose, not hard, but enough to catch him completely off guard. Lucas stared at her, his eyes wide with disbelief.
Her cheeks were flushed, turning a deeper shade of pink, and her eyes were filled with anger.
"Kyra..." Lucas started, rubbing his nose. "You... bit ?"
Damon, who had been watching all of this with amusent, leaned against the wall, shaking his head. "I warned you not to provoke her," he said, his voice laced with humor.
Lucas, still recovering from the bite, sighed dramatically. "I’m not provoking her. I’m trying to take care of her."
Kyra crossed her arms again, looking away. "I don’t want dicine," she repeated, her cheeks still bulging in a pout.
Lucas sat up slowly, now more cautious. "Okay, okay, no more dicine after today, I promise," he said, trying to appease her. "But you have to rest and take it this one ti. Deal?"
Kyra narrowed her eyes at him but didn’t say anything. Her face remained adorably stubborn as she glanced between Lucas and Damon.
Damon stepped forward, his silver eyes softening as he looked at her. "Little thing, listen to Lucas. Rest today, take the dicine, and we’ll be back on our feet soon enough. You need to be strong for the journey."
Kyra huffed, but the warmth in Damon’s voice made her relent. "Fine," she muttered. "But only because you both won’t stop nagging."
She plopped down in Lucas’s lap once again, her head resting against his chest. Damon gently ran his fingers through her hair, and Lucas wrapped his arms around her, clearly relieved that she was calming down.
"See, that wasn’t so hard, was it?" Lucas teased, leaning down to kiss the top of her head.
Kyra glared up at him from beneath her lashes. "You’re lucky I didn’t bite harder," she mumbled, causing Lucas to chuckle softly.
"Noted," he replied, his blue eyes twinkling with amusent.
"Let’s take a nap, Ky-Ky," Lucas said, standing up and easily lifting her into his arms. Her legs wrapped around his waist as Kyra, feeling a bit tired, hugged his neck, resting her head on his shoulder. She nodded, too tired to resist, and let him carry her to the bed.
As soon as Lucas laid her down gently, Kyra leaned up and kissed his cheek. He smiled at the sweet gesture, watching her as she quickly drifted off to sleep. He brushed a strand of hair from her face and kissed her forehead, his gaze soft.
Then, turning back, he couldn’t help but roll his eyes slightly, noticing Damon standing near the doorway, clearly tense. Soone’s burning with jealousy again.
Goodness! How jealous can he get? Lucas thought with amusent.
If Damon’s going to stay this jealous, how is he ever going to adjust with us? With Vincent and ?

The next day, Kyra, Damon, and Lucas made their way to Alessandro’s ho. Simon had already been inford about their visit and knew where they lived. Oceanus was still busy with the healer at his house, so he sent Kyra’s dicine through Simon.
As they approached the beautiful, large treehouse, Kyra’s eyes sparkled with excitent. She loved the idea of living in a treehouse. It reminded her of her own capsule with its treehouse thes, but it never quite gave her the sa real, earthy feeling as this one did.
"This place is stunning," Kyra whispered, her gaze fixed on treehouse.
The treehouse was nestled high within the branches of a towering Sequoia, its thick trunk resembling a natural fortress. The house had a multi-level design that blended seamlessly with the tree, crafted from polished wood that matched the Sequoia’s rugged bark.
Large windows frad with delicate wooden borders allowed sunlight to stream in while offering stunning views of the surrounding forest and distant mountains. The entrance was a grand, beautifully carved door adorned with symbols of eagles and other sky creatures.
Balconies extended from the upper levels, stretching out into the branches, providing peaceful spots to enjoy the scenery. The topmost balcony wrapped around the house, offering a panoramic view of fog-covered mountains and a glistening river below.
Lucas nudged her, grinning at her wonder. "You like it here, don’t you?"
Kyra nodded eagerly. "I do! It feels so... real. Like sothing out of a dream."
"Should we build a treehouse like this in the back of our house?" Lucas whispered playfully into Kyra’s ear, his lips brushing lightly against her hair.
Kyra chuckled softly, glancing at him. "Luca, we don’t have trees strong enough like this in our backyard," she whispered back, though the idea clearly amused her.
He grinned, unfazed. "It’s not like we can’t plant so, you know. Imagine it... our own magical treehouse."
Kyra smiled warmly at his enthusiasm. The idea of creating sothing as beautiful and magical as this back at ho filled her with excitent.
Just as they leaned against the wooden door, Simon stepped forward and knocked.
The door creaked open, revealing a gorgeous male who looked at them briefly before recognition flashed in his eyes. He stepped aside, allowing them to enter.
"Little sister thing~~~!" A familiar shout echoed from across the room.
Kyra bent down, lowering herself to eko’s height as he rushed toward her. She crouched slightly and opened her arms wide just in ti to catch him. He wrapped his short, chubby arms around her waist, squeezing tightly as his small face pressed against her. Kyra grinned and hugged him back, her hands gently patting his back while she balanced on her knees to keep their embrace steady.
Though he was so small compared to her, his energy was enough to make the hug feel big, and she couldn’t help but feel warmth in her heart from the tight embrace of her little friend.
