Seeing the feral king look at her blankly, she laughed nervously. "Hahaha! I speak a lot, please don’t mind ."
Kyra and Lucas exchanged glances, then looked over at Vincent and Mia.
Vincent’s temperature started dropping, and Mia began to feel cold.
"Why do I suddenly feel so cold?" Mia asked, side-hugging Kyra and resting her head on her shoulder.
"Uff! Crazy Mia, don’t talk nonsense about Vincent. Look at his innocent, adorable face. Does he look like a bloodthirsty, ruthless villain?" Lucas said, coming up behind Vincent and hugging his neck. He held Vincent’s face and showed it to Mia. "Look, how could this face give you nightmares?"
Mia gulped, staring at Vincent’s dark red, intense eyes. He looked at her expressionlessly, his face devoid of any smile.
Mia shivered and stood up straight. "Haha, yeah, yeah, how innocent he looks." she said, nervously clutching Kyra’s hands.
"Okay, Lucas! You play with your innocent feral king. I’m taking your lovely female with ." Mia said, grabbing Kyra’s hand and preparing to run. Stealing the mate of the feral king sounded so exciting to her.
"Wait—" Vincent’s voice made her freeze. How did the feral king know her plan? Her eyes widened in shock.
"You can’t take her." Vincent’s voice was cold as he walked towards them.
Mia started shivering, thinking the feral king really knew her plan to steal and run away with Kyra.
"Why?" Mia asked, trying to act righteous.
"I’m taking her outside with ," Vincent said coldly.
Mia pouted, looking sad. "Then also take . I want to play with Kyra."
"Mia! Your mates must be worried about you," Kyra said softly. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
"Mia, Mia! I know you’re here! Please, Lucas, open the door," ca a voice from outside. Lucas smirked at Mia, whose eyes widened. She quickly jumped and hid in a corner where she hoped they wouldn’t find her.
Lucas opened the door. Outside stood Pablo and another one of Mia’s mates.
"Mia, co out. We know you’re here." they said, looking around. When their eyes fell on Vincent, they froze but nodded respectfully at him.
"Mia, co out. You haven’t bathed for three days. We want you to take a bath."
Mia: "....!" My reputation!!!
"Ahh! You don’t have to say that in front of everyone." Mia said, coming out angrily.
"Oh, that’s why so many flies were coming into my house," Lucas muttered, looking at Mia. "You should bathe, crazy female, or else you’ll beco the ho of worms and flies," Lucas said as Mia’s eyes widened.
"Bye, Kyra! I’m going to take a bath." she said hurriedly, pulling her mates away.
Just when Kyra thought Mia had left, she ca back, smiling at her embarrassedly. "Hahaha! Sorry, Kyra. We’ll play together next ti. Hahaha!" she said before hurrying off again.
After they left, Lucas burst into laughter. "Hehehe," he chuckled, and seeing him laugh, Kyra could only smile.
"You’re coming with us or not?" Vincent asked, wanting to take Kyra to his tribe’s site. He wasn’t sure if Lucas would co along since he had guard duty.
"Don’t worry, I will co. Today wasn’t my turn to guard." Lucas said, as they set off for the tribe’s site with all the blueprints.
When they reached the site, all the male snakes had already gathered, waiting for them since early morning. When they saw Kyra, Vincent, and Lucas arrive, they started whistling and hooting.
The sudden attention made Kyra feel shy, but at the sa ti, she felt her confidence growing little by little.
Climbing off Lucas’s back, Vincent also turned into his human form and looked at every male. "Let’s start already! Are all the materials prepared?" he asked.
"Yesss!!" the males cheered in unison.
"And you guys don’t have to worry about anything because my mate, Kyra, is here to assist you." Vincent announced, his voice full of authority.
Every male beca excited and eager to start.
"Have you prepared the chalk line?" Kyra asked, but her voice was so soft that only a few close males heard her.
"Yes, Female, we have prepared!" they shouted back.
Kyra then instructed the males to make a border around the whole tribe area. They nodded eagerly and got to work.
Vincent got busy checking all the materials while Kyra sat on Lucas’s back, watching the chalk lines being drawn on the ground.
"How is that, Female?" a male with beautiful chocolate eyes asked, looking at her with expectation. Behind him, many others waited for her approval.
Kyra didn’t speak but smiled breathtakingly and showed two thumbs up, causing cheers to ripple among the males. They almost jumped with happiness.
When Kyra climbed off him, Lucas pouted as he shifted into his human form, following her everywhere she went.
She started choosing locations with all the males. "That space in the middle, we should build a school there. Then we can start making houses on the left side, and that area around the big tree looks like a good place for the snake marketplace." Kyra said as she looked down at her blueprint, which was held by two males because the paper was so big.
She walked closer and pointed at the area designated for houses. "We should start with digging a big hole. There’s also another thing—connecting a pipeline with the river so you all don’t have to worry about filling water. So, let’s start with digging the hole." Kyra instructed, looking beautiful and warm in her yellow dress.
