We were still running but the sounds of explosions had stopped a few minutes ago. I could feel the ground beneath our feet start to tremble and shake.
'God I really hope Howy and Liosa hurry up. Hey other ti to wake up, I want you to activate Detection and see where they are.'
'Yea, yea I'm on it.'
Next second I could see a birds eye view of the world around as pulses of pure mana radiated away from as the epicenter. After a few seconds I found Howy and Liosa up ahead still setting up traps.
'I don't think they will finish in ti big man. We might have to duke it out right here and try and lead him over there.'
'Yea, It looks that way, go ahead and start focusing our mana into a compact ball. It'll take up a good chunk but if we can land it first hit than it'll knock him off his ga hopefully long enough for them to hurry up.'
"Hannah dear, I need you and your pets to run along and go see uncle Howy and Aunt Liosa. Tell them daddy said to hurry the hell up. I don't care if you say a bad word just make sure to tell them that daddy is busy fighting a mountain and will be leading it there shortly."
She looked at with a bit of confusion but was quickly wiped away with wide eyes as she looked behind and could see a fast approaching mound of earth that was barreling just under the ground. She looked at with worry in her eyes but I only smiled and nodded at her as I set her down and pushed her to run along.
She hopped onto her zombie hell hound and the 3 of them ran off to find the others. I turned around and started to transform into my dragon form. My bones started to crack and pop as my muscles stretched and lengthened back into their original length. I was getting used to the pain of pretty much unfolding myself again and again. After a few seconds the process was over and I shook my whole body and unleashed my draconic aura to direct it solely on the mound of dirt that had stopped moving.
In a deep voice that vibrated the air around I spoke.
"How do I look little pebble." I smiled to show off my jaws that were filled with razor sharp teeth from side to side.
Stoney popped out from the ground and stepped back from . He had a look of uncertainty flashing across his eyes.
"You... Nobody told us that you had turned into a fully grown dragon." He said while trying to look unfazed. I could see straight through his façade as I could see his legs faintly start to shake. I smiled wide at that and decided to let go of a little more aura towards him.
"Do you think you can bring back to the others now Stoney? Do you really qualify as soone who can overpower ? The so called Traitor, only because I refused to beco Lucan and that Necromancer's lackey? You do know that sothing is controlling your mind right?" I asked him multiple questions knowing he wasn't really in the position to answer as his shaking had beco full blown leg tremors. He could have invented a whole new dance with how bad he was shaking.
I was really enjoying this but the mont was soon lost as he suddenly flared up with a dark red light that surrounded his whole body.
"I think you had enough fun at his expense wouldn't you agree cousin?" A male voice said as it appeared seemingly from out of nowhere.
'They didn't appear out of nowhere, you were just so caught up with your dominant sadistic tendencies that you didn't feel them approaching.'
'Ugh, dammit I should have kept myself reigned in but you gotta admit that seeing Stoney shaking like that was hilarious, especially after he talked such a big ga.'
'Yea well focus up idiot, cuz I think he just disappeared.'
'Wha...'
Before I could finish that thought I was blindsided by the reflection of light off Stoney's gemstone claws as they ca crashing across my face and ripping off scales and cutting deeply into my cheek and neck.
"Hahaha. You bastard, You made look like a cowardly fool but then you freeze up once I get the power up from Desmaros' magic. Did you forget that he has the ability to take away your strength and give it away to other people? I decided that you will die now you overconfident asshole."
I let him keep talking in order to let my body regenerate and I quickly gathered the focused mana ball and hid it inside one of my Space Bullets. I said Fck ssing around and decided to just try and massacre this guy with one move. I figure that with the distorting aspect of Space bullet could tear apart his armor enough to let the compact mana ball to enter and then it'll explode from there and totally ruin his day.
"Hey Stoney, I'd snap out of it if I was you, I feel a large amount of mana being focused within Vexsus right now so I think he's trying to do sothing." Lizaria said as she walked up to and tried to touch . Shit like I'd let her, I rembered her power well enough to know that if she touched , boom ga over.
I used my evolved quick step now called Spatial Blink that let literally step through the void that laid in between realities and pop back up a short distance away. Knowing that the others were not going to co any ti soon I decided to go ahead and activate Rage aswell to again end this as fast as possible but then I got a quick window screen.
[Rage] has maxed and has now evolved into skill [Berserk]
Well that's great and just in ti to. I didn't look at the description because I had a pretty good grasp on the pros and cons of the skill. It would allow to basically beco a ruthless killing machine that thrived on the blood of his enemies that had superhuman strength.... Wait that would be superdragon strength now.... But at the cost of basically going insane and trying to kill anything I set my eyes on.
So I took a quick look around with Detection and could see that the others were still a long ways off.
'OK I'm activating Berserk and it'll be up to you to stop after all this is over got it?'
I said to the other Vexsus but all I got was a ntal head nod. I guess he was to focused on the fight that was about to unfold.
"You guys are in deep shit. If you were trying to take captive to go back to beco so general for a dipshit that's fine. You would still have to work for it but nooo, you assholes want to take away my family to serve as puppets aswell. Well that's not happening, I won't let you. Prepare to DDIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"
I roared the last part as I activated berserk and a red aura surrounded my body. I could feel my muscles tighten up and pulse with limitless power as my mind started to get foggier and foggier. I could just barely focus on the 3 creatures in front of and the only thing that I was thinking was how good it would feel as their blood flowed over my body.
