Chapter 438: 438

Suddenly, Yang Qi stopped speaking and looked into the distance. "Soone else is coming. This ti, I’ll handle it. You just had a breakthrough, so take this ti to consolidate your cultivation."

Yang Qi had barely finished speaking when soone arrived.

The newcor appeared like a ghost, materializing before the corpse. A look of surprise crossed his face. "I didn’t expect you to actually kill him."

The man frowned, appearing genuinely surprised. "It seems the Lei Mansion’s bodyguards are of high quality, indeed. To think they could even kill a Fourth Rank Great Grandmaster!"

"A Fourth Rank Great Grandmaster is nothing," Yang Qi said indifferently. "You’ll soon follow in his footsteps."

The man’s brow furrowed as he stared at Yang Qi, as if trying to see right through him.

"Do you know what Realm I’m in?" the man chuckled.

"A Sixth Rank Great Grandmaster. Stronger than him," Yang Qi stated casually. "But in my eyes, you’re still just a lowly ant."

"Heh," the man scoffed. "Not many people dare to call a Sixth Rank Great Grandmaster an ant. Who exactly are you?"

"You’re about to die. What’s the point in knowing?" Yang Qi’s tone remained perfectly calm.

Lei Yingying sat to the side, consolidating her cultivation.

"I’d like to see you try!" The man suddenly moved. He shot forward like a black arrow, charging at Yang Qi with an imposing presence. The short black blade in his hand was shrouded in black True Qi.

"Destruction," Yang Qi calmly uttered.

Suddenly, the man froze. Utter terror filled his eyes as flas spontaneously erupted on his body. He tried to scream, but no sound ca out; his vocal cords had been incinerated. The flas burned with terrifying speed, filling the air with imnse heat. A mont later, the man stopped struggling and collapsed, reduced to a pile of black ash.

Lei Yingying opened her eyes, her gaze locking onto the scene in utter shock. This is a true Immortal Technique... so powerful! So, all this ti, Master has been holding back to conceal his identity as a Cultivator, not using too many Spells. To think a dignified Sixth Rank Great Grandmaster would be eliminated just like that... It’s truly astonishing.

"Finished your cultivation?" Yang Qi asked, glancing at the wide-eyed Lei Yingying.

"Yes," she nodded.

"Then let’s go. It’s ti to claim what’s rightfully ours," Yang Qi said with a smile, leading Lei Yingying through a series of corridors until they arrived at the room where the treasures were kept.

Chen Mo and Liao San were already there, along with a group of their experts.

"It should be over by now," Chen Mo said with a smile. "Send soone to check. As long as we confirm Lei Yingying is dead, we can secretly transport these treasures away."

"Director Chen, the two n I sent are a Fourth Rank and a Sixth Rank Great Grandmaster, both top experts from the Treasure Hall," Liao San laughed. "There won’t be any accidents. It’s just Lei Yingying. How strong can her bodyguard possibly be?"

The next mont, however, he let out a shriek. Lei Yingying was standing right there in the doorway. He looked as if he had seen a ghost.

"You! Y-you... how are you still alive?!" Liao San stamred, terrified.

"Are you surprised that I’m alive?" Lei Yingying shook her head. "Liao San, perhaps you should be thinking about how you’re going to explain yourself to the Lei Mansion. You conspired with those dogs from the Hanfang Association to try and have

killed... Your life is ruined."

"I—Miss Lei, this is a misunderstanding!" Liao San was genuinely terrified. Even a Sixth Rank Great Grandmaster had failed to kill her. Just how terrifying is her bodyguard?

"What’s there to be afraid of? I still have plenty of experts here!" Chen Mo’s voice rang out. "Seal the entrance! Don’t let those two escape!"

With a wave of his hand, the surrounding n rushed forward, surrounding Yang Qi and Lei Yingying as the heavy door slamd shut.

"Yingying, don’t overexert yourself." With that, Yang Qi moved.

A single, cold word echoed through the room: "Kill!"

A black longsword materialized in his hand, and his body blurred into motion. He slashed out, unleashing a torrent of Sword Qi. In an instant, several figures were consud by the Sword Radiance, unable to even cry out.

"You! You’re the boss of the Qifei Group!" Chen Mo realized with a jolt. The weapon in Yang Qi’s hand was the very sa Black Sword the Demon General had wielded.

"What if I am? What if I’m not? It makes no difference. None of you are leaving here alive today," Yang Qi smiled faintly, as if discussing sothing trivial.

"Originally, none of you had to die. I paid my money, and I ca to collect what was mine. Since you refused to hand it over, I have no choice but to send you to your graves."

Chen Mo’s expression changed drastically. If this really was the boss of the Qifei Group, then his n were lambs to the slaughter. This was the terrifying entity who could even slay Cao Shaqing. It’s over! Who could have possibly imagined that the head of the Qifei Group was posing as Lei Yingying’s bodyguard?

"Director Chen, get out of here! I’ll hold him off!" shouted a Seventh Rank Great Grandmaster, one of the strongest Martial Artists the Heavenly Dog Society had sent for this operation. As he spoke, he drew a katana and unleashed a dazzling strike, sending a flash of Sword Radiance flying toward Yang Qi.

Yang Qi didn’t even spare it a glance. With a casual flick of his own sword, he shattered the Sword Radiance. "Hold

off?" he sneered. "Do you think you have what it takes?"

The Black Sword danced again. With each flicker of its blade, more n fell. The locked door and the bodies piling on the floor had turned the room into a slaughterhouse. These n would never have dread that by locking the door to trap their enemies, they were actually sealing their own tomb.

Brilliant flashes of sword light filled the room, each one signaling another death, another spray of blood. Even the Death Soldiers finally began to feel fear in the face of the terrifying atmosphere. Ultimately, they were only human; they were not immune to fear. If they seed fearless before, it was only because the terror had not yet reached its peak.

Yang Qi stood beside Lei Yingying, having barely moved from his spot, yet he continued to eliminate his targets one by one. The Black Sword in his hand had beco Death’s own scythe.

Chen Mo had collapsed to his knees in terror. He wanted to flee, but he realized that any escape route would take him through the deadly range of Yang Qi’s Sword Qi. At his level, attempting it ant certain death.

"Kill!"

The Seventh Rank Great Grandmaster finally made his move. He seed to have spotted what he believed to be Yang Qi’s weakness: Lei Yingying. With her here, he can’t possibly devote his full attention to the fight. This might be our only chance!

As the Seventh Rank Great Grandmaster charged him, Yang Qi rely watched with cold indifference. He was already well aware that soone was missing.

Yang Qi had possessed an exceptional mory since childhood. He knew exactly how many people had been in the room when he entered and how many had died since, rembering it all perfectly. Yet one person had simply vanished—not among the dead, but also nowhere to be seen. The only possibility was that they had managed to hide themselves through so special ans.
