"I surrender!"

Seeing his cell phone destroyed, the elder raised both his hands and walked toward Yang Qi.

A cold smirk touched the corners of Yang Qi's lips. "An old thing like you, surrendering?"

The next mont, the elder suddenly smiled. From a distance of only two or three ters, he struck!

Surrender? Impossible! As a Fourth Rank Great Grandmaster who has been at this Realm for a very long ti, how could I possibly admit defeat so easily? Besides, I don't believe Yang Qi would let

go. I might as well go all out.

With a flick of his wrists, two daggers shot straight toward Yang Qi. A terrifying wave of Powerful Energy blasted the tables and chairs on both sides to smithereens.

Yang Qi just watched, showing no intention of moving. His body was suddenly enveloped in a green light.

Green Emperor Body!

Alchemy Transformation!

This ti, the Gold Elent didn't transform into a weapon. Instead, it ford a golden shield in front of him.

DING! DING!

The two daggers struck the golden shield and were deflected. The golden shield also shattered into pieces. The elder's attack was no joke; it was incredibly fierce and not easy to block.

The elder frowned but didn't stop. He closed the distance to Yang Qi in an instant and threw a punch straight at Yang Qi's face. Yang Qi t it with a punch of his own.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Powerful Energy surged as the two clashed in the great hall, shattering the surrounding tables and chairs! This elder was even stronger than Li Chong. Although they were both Fourth Rank Great Grandmasters, the elder's combat experience and the ferocity of his Inner Strength were far more formidable.

Yang Qi didn't dare to underestimate him in the slightest. In the blink of an eye, they had exchanged over a hundred moves. The elder was already panting heavily, but Yang Qi leisurely took out an Elixir and tossed it into his mouth. The light surrounding him, which had begun to dim, flared up brilliantly once more.

"You! You're a Cultivator!" The elder was suddenly dumbfounded, his shock beyond words.

No one could possibly understand how he felt at that mont. For a Martial Artist, a Great Grandmaster was already a terrifying existence, almost the pinnacle of power. But a Cultivator was different. Yang Qi's Realm was likely just the beginning. The elder only knew of such things from fragnted scrolls he had read. He had always assud they were nothing but nonsense, yet today, he was seeing a real Cultivator.

Yang Qi froze for a mont. This was the first ti anyone had recognized his true identity. "I'm surprised you know about Cultivators. What an unexpected developnt!"

The elder's expression shifted repeatedly. He clasped his hands and said, "Immortal Master, could you spare this old man today? I am willing to serve you like a beast of burden. With

by your side, Immortal Master, handling any matter—be it money, connections, or anything else—will be far more convenient!"

He had realized a critical problem: he was no match for a Cultivator. Rather than fight to the death, it was better to submit. This way, his own Cultivation might even advance into a new world.

"You've lost your chance!" Yang Qi shook his head. "You've done too much evil, and I happen to be quite picky. Not just anyone is qualified to be my subordinate!"

With that, he charged forward again. The elder was old, after all. The prolonged battle, which had begun with them evenly matched, now saw him at a clear disadvantage. Finally, at a crucial mont, Yang Qi's sword pierced the elder's Dantian, crippling his Martial Arts. He then quickly sealed the man's acupoints.

"Kill !"

"Kill you? No. You'll stay alive. Go to the Heavenly Supervision Hall, confess everything, and then you can die."

Yang Qi shook his head. Ignoring the elder, he began to search the great hall. The Kangshan Sect had been established for many years; there were bound to be plenty of good things. He wouldn't touch the money, but there were so items he intended to take.

After searching around, he did indeed find sothing: information related to Cultivators and so precious dicinal herbs. He could perform Alchemy again.

After packing these items away, Yang Qi turned and left.

By the ti he walked out of the Kangshan Sect, Zhao Xiong had arrived with n from the Heavenly Supervision Hall and the local garrison.

"Thank you, Mr. Yang, for saving my daughter!" Zhao Xiong was imnsely grateful.

"Just make sure you keep a better eye on your daughter from now on," Yang Qi said with a wave of his hand. "I'm leaving. I'm quite tired."

"Please rest, sir. We will visit another day to express our formal gratitude!" Zhao Xiong said, bowing deeply.

Yang Qi nodded and left with Iron Heart.

Back ho, Yang Qi slept soundly. He had fought two grueling battles in a single day—one against Li Chong and the other against the Sect Master of the Kangshan Sect. Both had been extrely exhausting.

When he awoke, it was already the next day. Yang Qi took out the dicinal herbs he had acquired from the Kangshan Sect and, combining them with so auxiliary ingredients, perford Alchemy to refine several Foundation Establishnt Pills. He then consud them all. Unfortunately, his Cultivation didn't break through; he was still at the Second Layer of the Foundation Establishnt Stage. He could feel, however, that his aura had grown much stronger. A breakthrough was likely not far off.

By the ti he finished his Cultivation, evening had fallen. Yang Qi then took out the fragnted scrolls from the Kangshan Sect and began to read them, discovering sothing interesting. He had once obtained a painting and found that it contained a special Array. However, because his Cultivation had been too low at the ti, he was unable to break it. But the information from the Kangshan Sect explained the thod for breaking this very type of Array.

After trying the thod more than a dozen tis, he finally succeeded in breaking the Array around midnight.

"The Mountain and River Map!" Yang Qi suddenly trembled.

From the records in the Dragon God Technique, he knew exactly what the Mountain and River Map was. Legend claid it was a spatial Treasure from the ancient Immortal Cultivation World. Although this particular Mountain and River Map was clearly just a high-quality imitation, it was still extraordinary. It contained a massive internal Space—a full two hundred square ters in area with a height of five ters.

This imitation Mountain and River Map was a genuine Magic Artifact, perfectly preserved and ready for imdiate use. Yang Qi even found so other items inside it.

Are these... Spirit Stones? Yang Qi swallowed hard.

Spirit Stones were virtually extinct in the modern world, yet here were nearly a thousand of them. The discovery was so shocking that Yang Qi was absolutely ecstatic.

He imdiately refined the imitation Mountain and River Map. It flew into the space between his eyebrows and vanished, but he could summon it again with a single thought. Afterward, Yang Qi grabbed a Spirit Stone and began to cultivate, continuing unabated throughout the night.

After consuming nearly a hundred Spirit Stones, his Cultivation finally achieved a breakthrough, reaching the Third Layer of the Foundation Establishnt Stage! Now, if he were to face an opponent of Li Chong's caliber again, he wouldn't even need the Green Emperor Body. He could defeat him directly in under thirty moves. His Combat Power had increased terrifyingly.

For the next few days, Yang Qi didn't leave the house. He spent his ti consolidating his Cultivation and repairing the Bronze Dagger he had obtained at the Treasure Competition. The Array on the Bronze Dagger was broken, and the weapon itself was on the verge of falling apart. He had been unable to repair it before due to a lack of materials, but the imitation Mountain and River Map happened to contain exactly what he needed to fix Magic Artifacts.
