Chapter 25: Chapter 25 Watching the Fun While Eating Barbecue
"Hmm," Yang Qi nodded. "Since that’s the case, it saves
the trouble."
Over by the wall, Brother Leopard and his n were pissing their pants in fear. Just who is this Yang Qi? Even soone of Brother Ba’s stature has to treat him with the utmost respect, to the point of kneeling in fear?
The Ye family was completely dumbfounded as well. They simply couldn’t recognize Yang Qi anymore. They knew of Xiong Ba. In Kang City, his reputation was absolutely formidable; Brother Leopard wasn’t even worthy of being his lackey. Yet now, this sa Xiong Ba was being so polite, so deferential to Yang Qi.
Yang Qi glanced at Xiong Ba. "I’ll leave these people to you. They tornted my good friend for nearly a month. And my elders, whom I consider my parents! Do as you see fit!"
With that said, he led the Ye family inside and shut the door and windows. The scene that was about to unfold was not suitable for such kind-hearted people to witness.
Outside, a sinister smile spread across Xiong Ba’s face. You have only yourselves to bla for your misfortune. Of all the people to provoke, you had to provoke Mr. Yang. Heh. "Listen up! Beat them! Beat them to death!"
"No, Brother Ba!" Brother Leopard and his n cried out in horror.

"Yang Qi, you’re incredible!" Ye Fei asked, astonished. "Even Xiong Ba listens to you? What on earth happened to you all this ti?"
"It’s not that I’m incredible; I t a great benefactor," Yang Qi said with a smile. "Ye Fei, let’s talk business. I’ve registered a new company. It’s called Qifei Group! I want to invite you to co back and continue as CEO. You know , I’m not cut out for operations, nor am I interested. I prefer research. You don’t need to worry about the money, either. I’ve already secured the start-up capital. We’ll start over, and we have to do even better than before!"
"Can we really do it?" Ye Fei frowned. "The Zhang Family is still keeping an eye on you."
"I’ll deal with the Zhang Family sooner or later. There’s a bidding eting tomorrow hosted by the Lin Family of Jingzhou. I’ll take our company’s new drug and submit a bid. You know what I’m capable of. I’m certain we can win. Once we have the Lin Family of Jingzhou backing us, you won’t have to worry anymore," Yang Qi chuckled.
"Really?" Ye Fei was even more amazed.
"There are so things I can’t discuss in detail," Yang Qi said with a nod. "But I guarantee you, from this day forward, no one will ever dare to bully you again."
"Alright, if you say so, I’ll risk my life and ride with you. It’s just a sha about that ten million, taken by the Zhang Family for nothing. I clearly don’t owe them any money," Ye Fei said, gritting his teeth.
"What’s ten million? Sooner or later, the Zhang Family’s entire industrial empire will be ours," Yang Qi said. "Just think of it as a deposit we’re letting them hold. We’ll take it back eventually."
"That’s great!" Hope filled Ye Fei’s eyes. Yang Qi seed different from before. The old Yang Qi was brilliant, yes, but he certainly didn’t have this domineering aura, this unstoppable confidence.
"Let’s go. You can’t stay in a place like this. I’ll get you a hotel for the ti being. In a couple of days, after the bidding eting, I’ll help you get back the villa that rightfully belongs to you!"
Yang Qi got up, checked out with Ye Fei’s family, and they left. Outside, the area was spotless, without so much as a single trace of blood remaining.
That day, Yang Qi settled Ye Fei’s family into a hotel. Afterward, the two spent a long ti preparing the materials they would need for the bidding eting the next day.
"Let’s go grab a late-night snack!"
Ye Fei’s parents had already gone to bed, and Yang Qi and Ye Fei had just finished their work. They decided to head out for a bite to eat. Unexpectedly, just as they sat down at a roadside stall and ordered so barbecue, before they could even take a bite, a luxury car pulled up beside them. Inside were Li Qiutong and her family.
"Well, well, isn’t this Yang Qi? The one who was shouting about making the Zhang Family kneel?" Li Qiutong said sarcastically, rolling down the window. "What, have you been reduced to eating at roadside stalls? It’s a good thing I divorced you. Otherwise, I could never endure this kind of misery."
"That’s right! My Qiutong’s luck has gotten so much better since she divorced you!" Jiang iyu chid in proudly. "She even received an invitation from the Lin Family of Jingzhou. We’re going to attend the bidding eting tomorrow. Our whole family!"
Yang Qi glanced over and instantly understood Lin Qingxuan’s intention. She wants to help
reclaim so face at the bidding eting. Too bad Li Qiutong and Jiang iyu didn’t understand. They were still gloating.

"Where did these stray dogs co from, barking so much? Can’t a man eat his barbecue in peace?" Yang Qi said coldly.
"You! Who are you calling a stray dog!" Li Qiutong raged. "Oh, I get it. You’re just jealous, aren’t you? Jealous that I got an invitation and you didn’t! Heh. You’ll be jealous forever. I, Li Qiutong, am about to cozy up to the Lin Family of Jingzhou. And you, you’re a dead man!
"Do you really think the Zhang Family will let you off the hook after the scene you caused? They’re just preoccupied with tomorrow’s bidding eting. The Zhang Family is sure to win the partnership. After that, they’ll co back and finish you!"
"The partnership rights? Heh, I wouldn’t be so sure," Yang Qi chuckled. "Get lost. A wretched woman like you disgusts
on sight!"
As he spoke, he casually flicked a bamboo skewer.

Li Qiutong’s car tire went flat.
"What’s going on?" Li Qiutong’s family had no idea what had just happened; their tire had suddenly deflated. Furious, they had no choice but to call for a mobile tire repair service, which proceeded to rip them off before they could grudgingly leave.
Throughout the whole ordeal, Yang Qi simply watched the farce unfold while sipping his beer and eating his barbecue. Afterward, he drove Ye Fei back to the hotel in the car he had borrowed from Lin Qingxuan before returning to his own room. He had important business tomorrow and couldn’t stay up too late.
「The night passed uneventfully.」
The next day, countless wealthy elites and celebrities headed toward the Lin Family’s estate in Kang City. An endless stream of luxury cars filled the roads, dazzling the eyes of onlookers.
However, Zhong Qiang’s expression was sour first thing in the morning. His Young Miss had actually made him stay here to greet guests while she herself ran off to go clothes shopping with that damned Yang Qi.
