Ye Fei, standing nearby, also frowned deeply. Li Qingyan was out of ideas, and so was he.

think again! I have to think of sothing!" Unwilling to give up, Li Qingyan left the company, determined to find soone to help.
「anwhile, in Qian Nanting’s office at the Kang City Business Alliance.」
Fan Xiuran, Zou Shengrong, and the others were all present.
"Hahaha! President Qian, your move was absolutely ruthless!" Zou Shengrong exclaid excitedly. "This ti, the Qifei Group is completely cornered. They’re out of options!"
Qian Nanting sneered. "In the end, their only choice is to go back to Qian Feng. I told him that if the Qifei Group wants this batch of equipnt, it’s simple. They just have to pay ten billion!"
"What if they actually co up with ten billion?" Fan Xiuran asked with a frown.
Qian Nanting simply smiled. "First of all, the Qifei Group can’t possibly produce ten billion. But even if they did, so what? It takes ti to transport ten billion worth of equipnt to their factory, doesn’t it? We’ll just make sure it never arrives! A little car accident here or there, and the problem is solved."

Fan Xiuran laughed heartily. She was glad she had sided with the Kang City Business Alliance and Qian Nanting. Making an enemy of a man like this would have been a miserable fate.

She had already wracked her brain, but after thinking it over and over, she still couldn’t find any other suitable solution. He was incredibly proud. Li Qingyan had bowed her head. The Qifei Group had surrendered. This was all too easy.
Li Qingyan frowned. "Mr. Qian, I think your price is still too high. I can offer you three billion at most. That’s already three tis the original price!"
She wasn’t a fool. There was no way she would offer ten billion directly.
"Let
think about it," Qian Feng said before abruptly hanging up.
He imdiately called Qian Nanting. "Cousin, they’re offering to pay three billion. I think that’s good enough. Why don’t we just agree? That’s twice the original price!"
"Agree to it!" Qian Nanting said after a mont’s thought. "Don’t worry about anything else. We’ll handle it. I guarantee that batch of equipnt will never reach the Qifei Group!"
"Hahaha, cousin, you’re so ruthless! But I like it. Who doesn’t like making easy money?" Qian Feng roared with laughter.
「anwhile, Ye Fei told Yang Qi what was happening.」
"I anticipated this," Yang Qi said with a smile. "Don’t worry, I’ve already commissioned a company under Lei Mansion to manufacture the equipnt. It will arrive at the factory by tomorrow at the latest. The Kang City Business Alliance has too much power; relying on the Kang City Machinery Factory was never going to work."
"That’s great! I’ll tell Li Qingyan right now!"
Ye Fei relayed the news to Li Qingyan. While she was excited, she also felt a pang of disappointnt. The problem hadn’t been solved by her. She had failed to prove her worth to the mysterious boss.

Just then, her phone rang. It was Qian Feng.
A cold smirk touched Li Qingyan’s lips as she answered the call.
"Mr. Qian, is there sothing I can help you with?" Li Qingyan asked coolly.
Qian Feng chuckled. "Director Li, after so painstaking persuasion, I’ve convinced our board. I’ll sell that batch of equipnt to you for three billion. You’ll just have to arrange for your own transport from our factory."
He was incredibly smug, certain that he had the Qifei Group right where he wanted them. They had no other choice.
"That won’t be necessary," Li Qingyan stated coldly. "Since you were the first to breach our contract, we have already sent a letter from our lawyers to your company. You will be receiving a court summons shortly. We are prepared to fight this lawsuit for as long as it takes. Just make sure you don’t co crying to us later."
This was Li Qingyan’s area of expertise. She had recorded their phone calls, and Qian Feng’s earlier words would serve as damning evidence. If they dared to play gas with her, Qian Feng and the Kang City Machinery Factory would pay the price.
"Are you insane?! Don’t you want your equipnt anymore?" Qian Feng yelled.
"Oh, haven’t you heard, Mr. Qian? We’ve already purchased our equipnt. And at a great price for excellent quality, so you needn’t trouble yourself. Since you enjoy clinging to that sinking ship known as the Kang City Business Alliance, you can just wait for our retaliation!"
Li Qingyan finally felt the pent-up frustration she had been suffering begin to dissipate.
Qian Feng, however, was dumbfounded. How was that possible? They had already procured the equipnt? The Kang City Business Alliance had established a complete blockade. There was no way the Qifei Group could have broken through it.
"Director Li, you’re taking this joke too far! You’re just trying to drive the price down!" Qian Feng sneered.

Li Qingyan had no desire to waste another word on Qian Feng and simply hung up.
Imdiately after, she assembled the legal departnt and filed a lawsuit directly against the Kang City Machinery Factory. Before long, Qian Feng received his court summons.
