— You ready? asked Tony.

— More or less, replied Dina.

— Let's go.

The two erged from Dina's darkness. Tony instantly transford his body into lightning and vanished into the sky.

Dina transford her body into shadows. It was nightti, and darkness covered the entire forest.

With no longer human forms, they were no longer affected by the scent.

To find the location of the cannibal village, Dina went toward the places where the shadows were pushed away by the light and quickly found the village.

Tony, up in the sky, also found the village quickly and waited for Dina to send the signal.

— I should've thought of it sooner… by turning into lightning, I can actually fly, said Tony.

He had always used his transformation to dodge attacks while keeping a human shape. But, being made of lightning…

Now, he fully beca lightning and flew through the sky, hidden in the clouds.

Suddenly, a massive hand, thirty ters tall, erged in the middle of the pitch-black forest. It was Dina's signal.

Tony was right above the village. The layout was simple:

At the center, ten tents ford a circle around a large central tent. Around these, smaller ones were scattered. On the village's edge stood an armory, guarded by ard n.

In the middle of the village, Tony saw market stalls selling severed limbs, intestines sliced like sausages, and blood served as sauce.

Tony, preparing to strike, felt a deep disgust.

— To indulge in such atrocities… and still laugh and smile like it's nothing… I have no desire to spare them, said Tony, feeling his rage surge.

He split into multiple bolts of lightning, increasing his power and size. Just before striking, he saw a group of children no older than five, eating human intestines, dipping them in blood and savoring them.

— I hope in your next life, you'll be born to parents with at least so dignity and respect for human life, said Tony, crashing down on the village.

More than fifty bolts of lightning struck the village.

— What's happening!? Is God punishing us!?

— Chief, what's going on!?

— We're sorry! We just wanted to survive! Is it really wrong to survive at others' expense? They were going to die anyway… We gave them life through us… by eating them!

Five lightning bolts struck the man who said that, leaving no trace of his body.

Half the village was being destroyed by Tony. anwhile, Dina began killing anyone trying to flee, erging from their shadows and shooting them with her pistol.

Many of them saw black bullets stick to their skin before hundreds of swords erged and pierced their bodies.

The guards, panicked, had no idea what to do. One by one, they were swallowed by black circles on the ground, then reerged minutes later—decapitated.

— Everyone, gather in the chief's tent!

— But what's attacking us!?

— I don't know… but there's soone in the sky, and soone down here slaughtering us.

— Save ! Save ! I know how they do it! I'll tell you, just help ! cried a young boy.

— What do you know, kid?

— No… Help first!

— Fine, fine. You'll co with us to the chief's tent. But talk—what do you know?

— She ca from their shadows… and killed them all.

— From their shadows? Are you sure about that?

— Yes… If we want to make it to the chief's tent safely, we can't allow any shadows.

— Alright. Let's go.

Several gunshots were fired in their direction.

— Dodge the shots! Avoid all the bullets!

They turned to check the boy's condition. To their shock, a girl had erged from the bullet the boy had dodged and decapitated him with a single move.

Everyone started running into the light, avoiding the shadows.

Dina vanished into the darkness, chasing them.
