They watched as both n remained still for almost a minute with no one moving. They didn't speak and their eyes lacked any form of emotion. Blood kept squirting out of Lucien's wounds, showcasing how serious they were anwhile Lukas only looked slightly paler. Many had already assud Lukas was the winner but then what happened next left them shocked.
"Just like I said earlier You never stood a chance against , old man!" Lucian said with a sad smile on his face.
Lukas wanted to say sothing but he couldn't speak, using the phantom punch, Lucien may not have been able to damage his body bit his soul was badly damaged and was probably on the verge of collapsing now. He may have blocked the attacks but that only protected his body and not his soul. He finally realized that he was lead to the final monts of the fight and he never stood a chance from the beginning.
All this while, Lucien showing him his destructive attacks and never showed him the phantom punch. He lowered his guard against casual attacks like that and when he least expected it, Lucien struck. He used the shadow storm to block his sight and prevent him from seeing the gray most encasing his fists that way he didn't suspect anything and expected it to be his normal attacks.
"You little sly piece of shit!" Lukas managed to blurt out as his youthful body returned to its old form and his soul finally crumbled.
His body soon fell off the sky, shooting for the ground headfirst but before it could reach the ground, Lucien caught him by the arm. The look wasn't that of a victor but sorrow. No matter how much he hated this old man, he still hated the fact remains that this man is soone who he was called grandfather. He had his monts with this man but it's all over now.
"You fought well old man I'm pretty sure, the emperor would still comnd if he could You are strong" Lucien said with a shaky voice as he held on to the body, feeling confused.
At this mont he badly wanted to return to the empire and return this body to the Raizen clan for a proper funeral service but he couldn't turn back now. Lucien ca out for reason and he had the intention of accomplishing it.

The battle was over but the entire hall was silent like a graveyard. They kept contemplating of what they just watched is a prerecorded video but they all knew they are yet to acquire such an advanced technology or spell. They gazed at the emperor who seed to be silent since he too was shocked by the outco and for a mont he thought Lucien died as well.
He leaned back on his throne and shut his eyes, trying to steady his emotions while hiding his excitent for the future. At this mont, he didn't even care if he died since he knew that with soone like Lucien, this empire cannot fall. He rembered the final monts of the video where Lucien was staring at the empty space while the others were confused, Instructor Han and the Emperor knew how the system works so they knew he must have gotten so upgrades. If he can gain, Lukas's connection with the Raizen god spirit, show strength will leap by a large margin!
While he knew killing magic beasts and gaining their abilities can be considered amazing but the difference between the strength of re magic beasts and a god beast is too vast. In his opinion, Lucien reaped a major harvest this ti.
