He may be an imperial knight and a viscount now but many didn't care. In their opinion, Lucien I still a fourteen year old who got lucky and now acts like a big shot. In this chaotic era that is about to begin, Lucien didn't bother with strength, all he wished for is loyalty. That's why he would rather have an army of fifty that he can trust than a hundred thousand forces that may stab him in the back at a critical mont.
"Yes I intend to expand my territory and circle I wish to recruit so young, promising youths to join my side and my main force, for now, will consist of spirit beast cultivators" Lucien answered honestly, with his head bowed.

Up until now, he hasn't gotten the ti needed to ponder on his encounter with the old monster of the Lightborn clan Klaus. His eyes were shut tight as he began to relive the battle once again. He could rember the visions he had when he saw fought Klaus. They were endless possibilities of how the battle could have turned out and all ended in his death except one. While he may be considered powerful amongst spirit realm masters, his strength can barely compete with that of the offensive spirit realm mages and fighters. But his ability to directly harm the soul, regardless of any physical defense set up can also be considered overpowered.
Before now, his spirit cultivation pathways were all dependent on conscious effort but after attaining his martial technique, Lucien had reached a level of harmony with his spiritual abilities where it feels so natural to use them. At his current strength, he is confident of facing any spirit realm master and there is a high chance of him coming out victorious. He looked out the window of the carriage and considered his next series of actions. While many would be proud of themselves and even celebrate, Lucien had this strong feeling that things are about to get harder. As an imperial knight, he has no choice but to fight in the wars at the front line and as an important, he doesn't have the choice to retreat or forever lose face. In his opinion, the empire expects much from him and even though it is a good thing, it is also a bad thing for soone his age.
