603: Chapter 603 Starfire 603: Chapter 603 Starfire “Haha, look, those guys have started to run away.”

A tall ogre pointed outside the valley, they hadn’t even left, and those annoying weaklings had already started to flee.

The people scattered in all directions, now all they had to do was catch up and slaughter them.

It wasn’t often they got a chance to hunt and eat freely, this was indeed a good opportunity.

The surrounding gnoll group also cheered loudly, making so incomprehensible noises.

Though the army was in chaos, its montum was entirely different.

Particularly when the opponent was clearly at a disadvantage, these creatures would act as if they were insane.

“Strange, why does it feel like it’s getting hotter?” a large lizard creature asked, looking around with so confusion.

Being an amphibious magic beast, it was supposed to live near water, but it had been forcibly pulled into this group.

Sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity, the lizard magic beast was becoming quite uncomfortable as the temperature around its surroundings rapidly rose.

It continued scanning the area, flicking its tongue in and out, carefully sensing the changes around it.

Although among these demons many were capable of casting spells, it was all down to instinctual talent.

There weren’t any with great spiritual power, none could sense the changes around them.

Inside the cave, however, Archis sensed the change in the Fire Elents below the mountain, the concentration was starting to rapidly increase.

Archis, sowhat puzzled, popped its head out and looked towards the distance, right where its army was gathering.

A massive amount of Fire Elents was converging, already exceeding normal levels—a sign of a large-scale spell.

What on earth was happening?

Was there anyone in this place capable of casting magic of such magnitude?

Even Archis would find it difficult to gather such a vast amount of Elental Power.

“What is this thing?” Suddenly, a gnoll noticed a red dot appearing.

Muttering, it poked it with its finger.

The next mont, its finger started smoking, and a pang of pain shot through, straight to its heart.

The gnoll let out a miserable yelp like a dog, drawing the attention of many others around it.

Other gnolls were pointing at it and laughing loudly as if they had seen sothing interesting.

However, so of the more sensitive magic beasts were beginning to sense the approach of danger.

They started to get vigilant and uneasy, showing signs of panic.

As these magic beasts began to halt and carefully watch their surroundings, the initial atmosphere of the army was still normal, but soon after, the air began to feel wrong.

Many had never experienced this kind of atmosphere and still did not understand what was happening.

“Oh, it’s so hot, what’s going on?” Suddenly, an ogre yelled loudly.

For an ogre to feel heat was no small thing, as these creatures were known for their thick skins and flesh.

“Look at the sky, why are there so many red dots, is that the Fire Elent?”

“Damn it, it’s Fire Magic, a wide-area spell, run!” Finally, soone realized sothing was amiss.

But where could they run to now, trapped in this valley with no way out on either side?

Except for the few capable of flight, the rest had no options for escape.

Even those that could fly, except for those who took off at the onset, the rest discovered that it was too late to escape.

Daring to fly into the air, they would be enveloped by red dots, and their feathers would be ignited on the spot.

With the first wisps of flas, more and more fires began to burn within the valley.

Screams filled the air as the flas burst forth without end, turning the entire valley red.

Those on the opposite side of the valley, despite the great distance, equally felt the sweep of the heat wave.

They even forgot to run, turning their heads one after another to look at the valley that had erupted into flas.

“Not a bad result for an army under fifty thousand, just over forty thousand, indeed.” Zhao Guang felt his spell had completely exploded, so he simply stopped channelling it, knowing the spell would carry on by itself.

It was remarkable.

He hadn’t expected his “Starfire” to wield such power.

Yes, this spell was “Starfire,” a super magic he had developed.

Initially ant to combat spells like the Plague Poison Insects, it involved setting a vast expanse ablaze to incinerate a significant range of power.

While its attack power wasn’t very strong, there were absolutely no dead angles.

The reason he used this spell was that this Magic Beast army was gathered in a valley.

Zhao Guang had surveyed that valley; it was very well sealed, which would turn it into a kiln-like environnt.

The original spell with not high attack power could also soar in temperature due to the terrain.

Furthermore, Zhao Guang had prepared several Fire Elent scrolls in advance, releasing a large number of Fire Elents at the sa ti.

Under the control of his “Starfire,” these Fire Elents perford to their utmost potential.

The active Fire Elents reddened the entire valley, with the surroundings showing signs of vitrification.

The screams, initially loud, swiftly diminished.

In just a short amount of ti, over forty thousand Magic Beasts and Demons were reduced to ashes.

The few that still persevered would not last much longer.

In the sky, a group of quicker Magic Beasts managed to narrowly escape the catastrophe, and they didn’t dare look back, flying far away.

Even the pressure of the giant dragon could no longer hold them back this ti.

So slower ones, as they flew up, were already afla, resembling Fire Birds.

Engulfed in flas, they beca true Fire Birds.

However, they didn’t stay aloft for long before plumting.

So Magic Beasts and Demons managed to run out of the valley’s boundaries but bore flas on their bodies, resembling torches.

They tumbled to the ground just after bursting out, trying to extinguish the fire.

But these were no ordinary flas and couldn’t be put out by conventional ans.

So, after rolling about for a while, they t with a pitiful end one by one.

“Tragic, oh so tragic, but who asked you all to be so hairy?

Don’t you know that ‘hair many, fire fanny’?” Zhao Guang muttered, shaking his head, while the people behind him looked at him as if he were a monster.

“Are all Mages this terrifying?” a villager whispered.

“I shouldn’t think so; at least I’ve never heard of anything like this,” another replied.

The range and power of this spell were too horrific, making them doubt if this was indeed the magic they knew of.

After this firestorm, there would barely be any Magic Beasts left alive.

Even the things that could survive in the flas were few, with perhaps only the Crystal Cores resistant to burning and possibly surviving.

But Zhao Guang was already too lazy to collect them.
